Perfect location, just on the main street Krupowki
Good and acceptable room. great location. Availability of front desk.
The location is perfect if you would like to see the market street and evening activities. Finding the hotel and the way how to come there by car is tricky.
No cleaning at all during our 8 days stay. We had to search for the staff to get toilet paper. There is no staff available before 10am and after 8pm. Telephone in the room did not work. Night noise of some engine working downstairs. In front of the building some open air game club generates lots of noise. For the price we paid I expected much better service. 20:00 do 10:00. Telefon w pokoju nie działał. W nocy roznosił się hałas silnika jakiegoś urządzenia. Za tą cenę spodziewaliśmy się dużo lepszego serwisu.
Rooms were clean and warm with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar in the hotel was not open during our stay and there was no wireless internet access in the rooms.
We were greeted by a very sweet young woman who immediately took us to our room, i.e., without showing passports or filling in a form. She was also in the dining room at breakfast. Noticing the espresso machine, we asked her whether it would be possible to have a cappuccino rather than the pre-prepared coffee; she obliged with a smile and the cappuccino was excellent...and at no extra charge. The guest house is quiet and conveniently located both for Krupowki Street and the National Forest. As seems to be the norm for guest houses, there was no elevator nor soap and shampoo in the room.
The location of the villa is reasonably good: it is about 10-15 mins walk to Krupowki, the main, pedestrianised street of Zakopane and 5 mins walk to a local bus stop, which connects to both Kuzinice cable car station and the main bus/coach and train stations, as well as other local destinations. The service at this hotel/guest house was friendly. Breakfast (included) was generous (fresh local food) and there was an option to buy "home made" dinners - an option for those not keen to go out. Rooms were clean and warm. Most twin (vs double) rooms are located on the second floor, which is in the attic section of this purpose built guest house, hence they are very small (beds are also relatively small), No soap was provided in the rooms (although could be purchased from a nearby supermarket).
staff was very nice and helpfull .room was very clean and hotel was only around the corner of the main street :) at the time of my stay there was some biulding work near by but they were late starters so wasnt to bad
In a good position in Zakopane handy for access to the mountains and only a short distance from the main facilities. We had to ask for a towel change and no one cleaned the room even though we were there for six nights.
Very good location, very good staff.
Great Hotel, friendly staff However they dont speak english.
It is nice hotel and quite comfortable. Nice restaurant, good sizre rooms and courteous service. Breakfasts could offer little bit more.
wonderfull and helpfull staff, very clean room and faccilities, great breakfasts and good evening dinning, goood location and parking lack of CNN or BBC english TV
Very helpful staff, great pool and changing area, great prices, very nice food, easy parking, nothing too much trouble. No wheelchair access to front entrance, only steps and problems connecting to wireless internet.
The recreation facilities were excellent, very comfortable and spacious room. Nice breakfast buffet. Chicken wasn't cooked properly when we went for a meal in the restaurant, but they didn't charge us so it was ok. We couldn't order desert after our meal as it was 5 mins after 10 o clock and they said the kitchen was closed.
the comfort of the hotel, its location, the views, the fish tank
The staff were superb. I personally thanked them for their great help and excellent service. Even though it is common in easern europe to pay extra for facilities I was surprised that th litwor (4 star) tried to charge 25zl for using sauna and steam room per person per day. I kindly explained that as a 4 star hotel the customer expects 4 star facilities as a given. The staff were extremly understanding and let us use all the facilities for free. Maybe litwor will change their mind on this
The rooms were large and the view of the Tatra Mountains from our rooms were great. It was like being in a treehouse. My husband & daughter also enjoyed the pool. I especially liked the crepes at the breakfast buffet. It was very difficults to find the hotel driving.
Fantastic breakfast, central location Money, money, money. One might rightly say that the only thing that counts there is money - I was asked to pay my room immediately on arrival (two children and five huge bags had to wait), I had to pay the parking twice (on arrival and when leaving), which I did because was too tired to fight. Please do not move any bottle (water or other) in the room because they will make you pay as well even if the bottle was not opened but just moved 25cm farther.
Excellent breakfast,very helpful staff.
very nice hotel, near town centre, food, kindness of staff, charming decor and rooms air condition - to strong
A very comfortable hotel with great location and nice, really nice people, working there.
This is a wonderful hotel! The rooms are stunning and the service excellent. The breakfast buffet is lovely. It rained our entire stay and it was a pleasure to spend this time in our cosy hotel room.
Everything was first rate
The room was excellent. The windows overlooked the Tatra Mountains on the fifth floor with its own fireplace. The staff was superb and went beyond the call of duty everytime.
Excellent location & value for money. Top class restaurant. Very helpful staff. Room & bathroom clean powerful shower. Efficient laundry service large selection of breakfast food. The decor is a little tired for a 5* hotel
the staff were very helpful and went to a lot of trouble to change our toom when we asked for it. the spa was excellent - very comfortable and lots of facilities. the rooms are large and comfortable. a very elegant hotel. traffic noise in a lot of the rooms as they face the road but that is a problme with the location.
locations, friendly stuff grate food realistic pricing n/a
There is a good swimming pool. Cleanliness of children play room was poor.
The food in the hotel resturant was very good, with an extensive menu. The Spa and pool facilities are impressive. In the evenings, the resturant was a little cold, so to be comfortable we often took meals in the sitting area adjacent to the bar, by the fire place (nice).
extremely friendly hotel within easy walk of town centre and cable car to the mountains. a lot of children during christmas period. great for families. for romantic weekend, not as perfect.
Booking.com didn't forward my reservation details to the hotel, so I didn't have a room when I arrived, but thankfully the staff were very helpful & found us a very nice room - then made it up to us with a few little 'rewards'. The hotel was one of the best I've stayed in without a doubt. Elegant, comfortable & clean. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had. The only downside was that we didn't have enough time to utilise the spa facilities. Overall, an unbelievable experience!
Beautiful historic building with all the bells and whistles; spa and pool, beautiful bar with an attentive bartender, multiple cozy sitting rooms and a grand terrace. The breakfast spread was fabulous. The location a few short steps from the bus station and a quick walk to the Main Street. We loved our stay for our honeymoon and would come back here in a heartbeat.
Excellent facilities, great location, helpful staff, excellent breakfast. n/a
This hotel is fantastic in every way. Definitely worth a little splurge.
Good breakfast, swimming pool, Jacuzzi and 3 saunas. Nice café next to the lobby. The air in the room was very dry making night a bit difficult.
Everything, location, staff, facilities, restaurant and on and on
Good location to ski-mountine Expensive pay for car parking
The ski in and ski out facility was great for the family - we went down to breakfast in our gear just wearing ski socks on our feet and then padded down to hire our boots, without needing to leave the building. The buffet breakfast had a wide choice available. The pool was a bit cold.
The room was very nice, excellent view of the mountains. On the last morning breakfast was not brought up to the room because the card on the door knob was not taken.
Location and general facilities. Their Alpine inn across the way .....totally under-utilised and under-appreciated by guests. Buffet style food was generally good but desserts were usually awful - sweet, colourful, creamy concoctions that are meant to imitate some international standard of cuisine. Far better to stick to simple and delicious Polish cakes & cookies , of which there were sadly none. Smell of smoke on some floors despite signs given Polish guests' addiction to cigarettes. The prices for a half-decent glass of wine were extortionate for a 3 star hotel. No free tap water or water dispensers.
very close to ski slope, availability of ski lockers, beautiful views from rooms, superb breakfast. relaxed atmosphere. would have benefited from tea coffee facilities in room, local bus service was not always reliable, depended on the drivers attitude.
I likes the view from the room. The fast elevators. Lots of space everywhere. Free internet. All of the staff except one.
An excellent hotel, Quiet location, very comfortable with really good choice at breakfast. Staff were very helpful and we thought it the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend it for a stay.
Everything! We had a nice room with a huge balcony and a wonderful bathroom. Delicious breakfast- no matter what country you're from, you'll find something tasty for yourself. Great variety of breakfast items. Wi-fi in your room. Beautiful surroundings. Just a short walk to Krupowki- 10 minutes. No.
Crocus is a high quality, very nice, new hotel, with good location, friendly hotel staff, absolutely comfortable and well cleaned, very tasty and varied breakfast. Crocus is mostly recommended!
Very good, new hotel, in excellent location in Zakopane and very friendly staff.
The rooms were nicely appointed. The staff was excellent with their English. Everything was excellent.
The meals at the hotel were excellent. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and the dinners we had were as good as you are going to get in Zakopane if not Southern Poland and reasonably priced. The rooms were a little spartan, the beds were OK but not up to the star rating of the hotel. For the rooms without shower stalls, they could use a shower curtain or glass partition to keep the floor from flooding. I'm a shower guy not a bath guy.
Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna.
Location to the mountains and the main downtown area were a short walk away. It was clean and modern hotel with beautiful rooms. The breakfast was delicious and the pool and spa area were well worth using (empty each time we went).
Very professional staff, excellent food, lovely interior design
Excellent facilities. Limited number of TV channels
Location - far enough away from the touristy centre, so not noisy, but close enough to make tourism easy. Good restaurants in hotel. Nice fountain. Other people will appreciate the spa - but we didn't use it.
excellent buffet breakfast, good swimming pool no tea or coffee facilities in the bedrooms
The breakfasts were excellent, the staff attentive and kind.
proximity to the mountain nature park.
kindness of the staff, the location, the breakfast! the thalago center was noisy because a lot of children
In general we enjoy very much our stay in your hotel, the reception staff was very helpfull, breakfast and staff impressed me very much. My compliment to them. Dinner restaurant , food great, but staff need to improve services .
It;s a beautiful holtel. The food was good and the location convenient while not being right in the center of things. The staff were not as helpful as we had expected. They did not help with arrangements for tours and things, and a major activity we had booked through their tour group was cancelled due to werather but we were not told until we asked about it. It advertises being next tothe Tatras National Park, but that is not quite accurate. It is close to the park, but not well marked.-
everything no english speaking tv
Everything was perfect. The hotel is in a great location, quiet and perfect location. Breakfast was perfect, a lot of choice. Everything at the hotel was perfect.
Absolutely excellent hotel. Wonderful breakfast.
Very convenient for main shopping area and within easy reach of walking opportuities. We also liked the bulding The hotel was furter from the rail/bus station than advertised. It is about 3km.
A friendly atmosphere, beautiful old house, good breakfast, tolerance of dogs, quiet position near restaurants.
Near center, parking on site, Good Breakfest. Small Rooms, Rooms were not furnishet at high class. One room was smelly at first night. At first the reception did not find our order and told us to pay full standard rate (we payed site rate only after we showed them our reservation from the site)
There was an extensive breakfast included in the price and it was quite close to krupowki street The lady at reception when we checked in was extremely rude, even though I spoke to her in Polish and we had no problem communicating. I booked a room for three, but the third bed was not made, and the sheets on the other bed was dirty (they did change the sheet after I complained) The beds were very worn down and the bedding was old and stained. The bathroom was dirty.
Breakfast was great. Too far away from the train station by walk.
The hotel has very good location. Staff was very helpful. Delicious breakfast!
The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the main street in Zakopane. A good selection of items on the breakfast buffet. Free tea and coffee available all day and evenings. Bedrooms are quite small
It was like home form home ..the staff were friendly and helpful ...you could have tea and codffee free all day long.
Good location, quiet but convenient to walk into main street (5 mins) Old style villa but decor tired but you could imagine how luxurious it was in tttimes past. Free parking a big bonus. Room decor tired. Our loo seat was in need of replacement, plastic and badly scratched.
Good breakfast and the lounge was good because it had a piano and tv. Hot Eggs for breakfast would have been nice. Gin Bottles under the bed was poor.
Breakfast room was delightful and buffet very good. Everything was new and spiffy and rooms were quiet. It was a little hard to find -- address was on the main street, door was just off the main street. Also quite alot of stairs and no lift. Not a deal breaker for us, but might be for some.
Excellent location at the end of the main street. Our room was very spacious with a lovely large bathroom. Clean and comfortable with free wifi and a free safe. No noise despite the location. Excellent hotel. Basic breakfast was ok but no toaster was a disappointment.
Super Location at main Zakopane street! To find hotel, cause Krupowki is closed for cars and there is no traffic indicator to find it. And of course small parking
Very clean hotel, very good breakfast, within walking distance to everything I wanted to see Some building work was carried out at the time outside (front facade covered) made hotel a bit difficult to find and a bit noisy from 7am. But was offered 5% discount
Friendly staff and good location on the main street of Krupowki in Zakopane and good value for money.
Great hotel room clean and a pleasure to stay there None
Reasonable price. Good location. Nice view to the mountains. Clean rooms. Kitchenette.
Our host at the hotel was charming and helpful, the room very spacious, comfortable very clean with great views of the mountains. The very large and spotlessly clean separate bathroom was a very pleasent surprise. The quality and quantity of the morning breakfast was again excellent. The dining room is just a little too small, giving a cramped feeling.
Very clean apartment. Was adequate for our two night stay, location was good near to amenities and short walk from town. We shared with a friend, it was not very nice to have somebody come through your bedroom to use the bathroom. Apartments were cramped with little room on the balcony. The kitchen area was almost non existent so even if you wanted to eat in- there really were no proper facilities. The lady in charge was very friendly but did not speak english; this was a problem.
advertized view in to the mountins is far away from reality - at least from our room. Dificult to find reception, i had to look for hotel workers, even to give a ring to get down somebody to the reception...
Location, view on the mountains, clean comfort and excellent room, great value for money.
apartments were spacious comfortable and quiet. sauna was good and we didnt have an issue with this as it was accessible all of the time. Bit out of the way although still only 15mins walk from town, some of this was uphill!
I really can't fault the apartments. They were very clean, modern and comfortable. We had a good size balcony with great views of the Tatra mountains and enough space for the 4 of us and all just a short walk from the Szymaszkowa ski lift. The town is around 15 minutes walk but we chose this hotel to be near to the slope so this wasn’t a problem for us.
The apartments are ample, with wonderful view to Tatra mountains. The bathroom is spacious with all new facilities. Beds are comfortable. The staff is nice and welcoming, with little English skills. Ski resort Szymoszkowa and the city centre is within walking distance. One of the electrical sockets was dangerously pulled out of the wall.
The views from the apartment are stunning. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
Proved to an excellent choice for a walking/relaxing holiday. We enjoyed the breakfasts and also the added benefit of a fridge and electric kettle in the room. It was located just outside the town but within very easy walking distance. Would have appreciated a hair dryer.
The location is far away from the town centre to be quiet but still within easy walking distance. The staff were pleasant but not intrusive. Our room was spacious, nicely furnished, warm and very pleasant with beautiful views. The bedding was attractive but a bigger quilt and bottom sheet would have been nice.
Great location, great breakfast. Manager speaks very little English, but one of her workers helped with translation.
The rooms were really nice and the views from the windows of the mountains were breathtaking The walk from the main square went under the viaduct and was poorly lit, which made it quite intimidating walking back.
It was good and above my expectation.
the room was really nice. the staff was great and very helpful the breakpest was ok but nothing fancy-continental only.the hotel was 10 min walk from the main street, but it wasn't nice to walk in the evening-too dark for us.but on the second evening we just took the car and park it next to the main street and it felt much safer.
The Villa was fairly close to the centre for resturants etc.also close by was a lovely swimming pool .The chair lift up the mountain was within easy reach with spectacular views Breakfast was good . We had to request a change of towels after four days ,our holiday was for eight nights and our towels were not changed for the remainder of our stay. The room was very clean when we arrived but was not cleaned for the whole of our holiday .
Friendly and cheerful staff. They did not have tourist information such as local maps, local event schedules and town issued guide books.
Excellent quality-price ratio. Nice swimming-pool and saunas, the breakfast was pretty good and our room wasn´t a room, it was an appartament, almost 60m2 : )
The quite big room was even equipped with a microwave oven, fridge, corkscrew, plates and cutlery (although no glasses for wine). The bed and quilt was very good (pillows might be better). Very convenient underground parking. Perfect location for trips into mountains while only 10 minutes walking to the town center. The hotel feels brand new, clean and has amazing quality-to-price ratio. The room design lacks style. The same for almost all of the hotel employees we met. In the room there are no bathroom amenities (not even a soap, not to mention a shampoo or a Kleenex). There is no tea, coffee and sugar even though there is quite a big kettle. In the bathroom there is only a shower (no bath), which made an intimate hygiene quite complicated. The weakest part of the hotel's offer is a breakfast. It is served only from 8 to 10 and when you come at 9:30 almost nothing is left to eat. Juices are undrinkable, There is no still nor sparkling water. Luckily scramble eggs, ham and bread are quite tasty. The pool is closed too early (at 21 - just when we came back from trips - so we never made it).
A very comfortable and clean hotel, large rooms with kitchenette, courteous and efficient service, private parking, pleasant breakfast, very close to the cable car, 3 minuets drive to the town's center. Rooms are not cleaned daily.
Very cheap in summer season, but the facility is really good. Breakfast is also good and all crews are very kind. .
We loved the views from our balcony at the south side of the hotel. The balcony and the room itself was spacious, fresh and comfortable. Staff were very plesant. The buffet breakfast was uninspired. The breakfast room is awful. Why has it been sited in a stuffy underground hall when the hotel has such wonderful ground floor possibilities???!!!
excellent location, comfortable room, garage. very poor breakfast, swimming pool with cold water running from 16 to 21, closed bar
Excellent service, place for car, good breakfast
The rooms are spacious adn we layed out, with an excelent bathroom. I loved he swimming pool and sauna. The breakfast was very good, but it would be a good idea to introduce a bit more variety.
The friendly welcome at reception and hotel facilitirs especially the sauna after walking the mountains .The Resturant at Czarci Jar was excellent value and great food and music
A comfortable and good value hotel with very helpful staff, in an excellent part of Zakopane that is close to good walks.
The hotel is conveniently located to the slopes and the centre of Zakopane. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Personnel were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The indoor pool was a welcome treat at the end of a long day hiking in the mountains. Having stayed for 9-nights I thought we would at least have had the sheets changed once but we didn't. The bed was not made each day.
Very close to the old city center and the new town also easily accessible. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They made bookings for us, from the brief town tour to taxi service -- even at 4:30 AM!! And we were able to pay for these things with our room charge. A bit of a walk to the castle, but within easy reach. Charming building; excellent rooms. Highly recommended - though we are not the typical American tourists. Really, no. The room sare air conditioned and it struggled to keep up, but it also was very warm those days - and it still was comfortable..
Everythng was excellent, I have already recommeded this hotel to a friend!
Excellent place for all age groups. I had a bad accident on my knee in Zakopane and the hotel staff were most helpful and did all they could to get me back to Dublin. and helped with all arrangements etc. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing I did not like was having to leave the hotel--hopefully I'll get back..
Excellent Service. Very luxurious rooms......Loved it.
Very nice hotel, great sauna!
Beautiful, clean modern hotel, of unusual but impressive design. Excellent value for money. Great location. Look forward to return visit in not too distant fututre. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
Everything was clean, hotel looks and feel like a newly built, though it is about 3 y.o. now. They have a very nice sauna and relaxation area. The hotel has it's own unique and recognizable design and everything is of the very high quality. Located just between the center and ski resort.
Wonderful looking building with excellent decoration, clean, friendly helpful staff, buffet breakfast in pleasant room.Handy for town or walking in the mountains.A great sauna to relax in after a day hiking.A beautifully presented villa, we would thoroughly recommend it
Good Design. All furniture made from wood. Nice shower. Great sauna. Feel's like home almost. Change beds from two separated to one double, please.
Excellent (!!!!!!) architecture, beautiful view, genuine local interiors, pretty and clean bathroom, very tasty breakfast, superb location - the best hotel I have visited this year No bad points
good front desk service not getting Kasprowy Wierch lift tickets, the lines were 6 hrs long and the hotel told me there are no lines due to new lift.
24 hour reception Old furniture, not very good bed.
Good to look out over the parkland The town centre is a reasonable walk away.,also the market and ski lift are a nice stroll away The shower was a bit flimsey and there is a small leak from the shower and the washbason.
The staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The food in the pleasant restaurant was wholesome and nicely presented. The hotel is attractively situated at the edge of a park with lovely views of the mountains, whilst being convenient for access to the town centre.
the Italian restaurant is very good and cheap lobby
Nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, good location
Staff speak English fairly well. It could use a new coat of paint
It was quieter than the other hotels that were 2 blocks closer to the main strip. For the price, it simply can't be beat.
Found some smell in the room
Good position, cleanliness, good view, pleasant staff and good service. None
