Deli/cafe staff was a little uppity
I didn't like anything there. The staff were not professional. I will never recommend anyone to stay there. The staff were rude. We didn't have towels. We called for it and it 30 minutes to get it.
There was an employee at the front desk (not the one who checked me in) and she was extremely helpful in telling me where to go to catch the subway. She was worth the stay! But sorry I do not remember her name. The shuttle service from the airport was horrible. The instructions of the pick-up location were terrible. I had to call the main hotel phone number which took me a few minutes to wade through the automated service. The driver did not see me and left. When he picked me up he said he didn't speak English. But the next morning, he was speaking English very well to the front desk employees. The employees I spoke to on the phone from the hotel were rude and patronizing. I would not stay here again in order to catch the shuttle to the airport.
Location was convenient to the T (subway) and bus line. I know there is a park close by as well as the JFK Library. I didn't get to see much of anything due to frigid temps. I had to check out a day early due to an impending blizzard. Laura, the office manager was super helpful and authorized a refund. There is a cafe right on the lobby. Food is so so but convenient if you want grab something quick.
The staff was great and very helpful! Rooms were nice and clean! Location was not good for us other than it's proximity to the subway. Lobby, breakfast and bar areas were dirty but rooms were clean!
I stayed here a year ago and the renovations to the rooms from then to now are wonderful. Room was clean and crisp. Would be nice if the room had a fridge though. Unlike the other two Double Tree's in the Boston area this one has a shuttle to the airport and it will also shuttle you to the downtown area making it convenient for sightseeing. The other two look more elegant but I would pick this one for those two perks the others don't offer. At almost $300 for one night it was too expensive - being a holiday week and the big rowing event in town I think it's called price gouging. Also the people at the front desk could have used a bit more training and should be taught not to mumble when they talk. And after my stay I've called 3 times trying to inquire why the charge on my card is higher than my receipt. First call to the front desk they hung up on me, second call I was put on hold and they never picked up again, third call the phone rang 17 times before somebody picked up - he gave me an explanation that made no sense. I will try one more time this week before filing a formal complaint.
I like the shuttle to/from the airport. The convenient access to JKM/UMASS T station.
Room was clean There are many things about this hotel we did not like. For starters the manager Mohammed was not very helpful at all. He did not even point us in the right direction to find our room. Also I think it is rediclous that we had to pay $12 dollars to park at the hotel when we are staying there. It should have been included. Also since we paid $120 for the room breakfast should have been included but we were told we did not qualify for the free breakfast in the morning. We will be visiting boston again in the very near future but we will not be stayying at the double tree on Vernon st off of exit 15 in Boston. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone mainly because the staff and manager were not polite and were horrible at their jobs. I hope other double tree hotels are not like this one.
The staffs are very nice. Our room was very noisy from 5:50am to 12:45am every day because it's next to the Tline metro track. The train runs every few minutes, very annoying.
Water was leaking from my bathroom ceiling.
Paid a little over $100.00, and no valet fees seeing as how it is self parking. Free breakfast.
Very unhelpful and inexperienced front desk. I booked a double room and they tried to give me a single. When I went back down to correct their mistake they tried to tell me they were sold out. The shuttle took 2+ hours to get to the hotel. There was a train right next to the hotel that kept us up all night.

remote control did not control the t.v, we were in a handicapped room, so once you were in bed, how does a handicapped person change the channel??

Comfortable bed! We waited for airport shuttle 45 minutes, called hotel several times and they said it will be coming... Didn't show so we then took taxi $37.50, good thing hotel paid for it. All kinds of debris in front of hotel.
convenient shuttle route to take the train I had 2 reservation for one night and one week, when my second reservation started the hotel made a mistake and cancel my reservation for no reason, apparently "someone" cancel the reservation, the Manager (Kellie Pabst) didn't know who and when did this cancellation. She wanted to charge again for the one week reservation, I had to call Expedia to have a solution, because the Manager didn't want to do anything. I had to wait 4 hours to solve this problem, but the manager didn't seem worry about it. She treat me very unrespecfull
For me having lived in Dorchester for many yrs and recently moved to the country, it is super convienient for a wkend getaway.
Difficult to find an hotel in Boston area, with acceptable fare . Comfort Inn Boston do propose it at a "regular" rate. Hotel near train tracks. Train noise during the night. Extra 3 $ fee to pay in addition to booking.com rate. I think I booked twin beds , but Comfort Inn didn't get the request.

En begendigiim yonu otel ile havaalanı ve tren istasyonuna yapılan ve aksamayan servis hizmeti. Bu hizmet mukemmel ve hic aksamıyor. Odaları temiz ve duzenli. Sessiz. kahvaltı hizmeti biraz daha zenginlestirilebilirse iyi olur kannatindeyim. Kahvaltı daha zengin olursa daha iyi olur.
Sakin ve temiz olması , her gün yatak çarşaflarının değişmesi, havalimanı ve tren istasyonuna servis olması fevkalede bir olay. Kahvaltı daha iyi olabilir diye düşünüyorum.
