Everything was clean and the front desk lady was very nice. Management knows that they have a very noisy room and they still have it available (or maybe there are more?). It sounds like someone is flushing the toilet on you all night. And when you complain about it, and if the hotel is full, the manager will tell you that you can leave the hotel and they won't charge you. After a long fight with the manager (I am sure none in their vacations wants to fight) he agreed to refund 50% (I still think they should have refund 100%). However I am still waiting for that refund.
Great staff. Super nice people. The hotel itself...meh..definitely definitely not five star, perhaps not even four. Tiny room and bed so small I could barely fit. Noise from hallway came into room. I'd say it's a good four star. The bed was tiny, barely fit one person.
Great location Cleaning is not good, dust on the lamps, there was no wardrobe in my room, there was nothing to dry wet clothes on. No elevator in the hotel . There was no light in the WC. I asked the maid to clean the lamp but she told me she had no tools to do so. There was like 1cm dust on it. There were insects in the bathroom at night. Tiny room with only a bed , TV and a few lamp tables.
Only thing positive aspect is position. Hotel was very seamy, personnel unwilling and general impression gladless. Behind fridge you can find uncleared leftovers and rubbish. Stay in this hotel are folly. We travel much all the world over, but quality hereof hotel is at the most on one’s little star, rather at the level of bunkhouse.
nice room, staff and location a problem with a window that kept opening and construction noises early in the morning from a site near by
Close to cinema, theatre, restaurants , shoping, market...
details are well-thought-out. Room was small but very well-designed and attractive. Very comfortable. I highly recommend the Shenkin Hotel. needed more drawer space, more hangers for clothes
Friendly and helpful staff, free car parking, all new and clean, great terrace on the roof! Not much, but the standard rooms are not very large and personally we prefer to have a toilet separated from the sleeping room
Amazing staff, great location, clean, modern Construction next door, will wake you up. Very small rooms.
Great attitude. Location, design
most friendly and accomodating so that we had a good time and a good stay.
great value. right downtown. friendly and helpful staff. nice accommodations, clean. our room was a little small but very comfortable.
The people were absolutely lovely, they went out of thier way to help me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible
Free WiFi Internet & Breakfast Dust in the room :(
Some of the bartenders, especially Karin and Michelle, were terrific.
Close to the sea (2 minutes walking)
the staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast should start earlier than seven o clock.the reason being is that the tour company picks you up at seven fifteen.
Close to the sea with reasonable price Bathroom was a little dusty
breakfast was a little bit odd
Noisy , room facing the street. No gym as promised in the web site.
Modern, clean and very helpful staff on reception, towels for the beach (a little walk away) and the opportunity to check out, leave your luggage, go for a swim and come back later.
Staff was very helpful and easy to talk to. Ordered me a taxi to the airport at 2am. 24 hour front desk service is great. My room wasn't cleaned before my stay. There was an empty water bottle on the nightstand and the sheets and pillows had hairs on them.
Location and friendly staff Had to wait 30 minutes for my room to be ready
Concierge service was nonpareil! During our week, they provided maps, guided tours, taxis, restaurant reservations -- and even patched up a member of our party who needed first-aid after a minor fall! The cappucino machine was available at all hours (with juice and pastries for breakfast), and an afternoon glass of Lambrusco in the comfortable lobby was most welcome. No complaints at all! Highly recommended on every score!
The staff is extremely friendly and always try to upgrade me and my girlfriend when we stay a night. The lobby is very cozy and has lots of games and reading material, plus free drinks and snacks. The rooms are extremely trendy and modern, but also comfortable. When visitors come to Tel Aviv this is the first place I send them to stay!
A small friendly hotel with a ready smile and great personal service and unlike the big Hotels dont charge for every little thing- internet aservice was very reliable and free as was breakfast- my extras for a 10 day stay were $5! No dislikes at all
Very comfortable. Moses was really very helpful. could use updating, which you are doing.
Hotel staff was very-very friendly. The room was realy comfortable and clean, they changed towels several times a day.The location is exellent. The quality is higher than the price. nothing
The hotel is across the street from the beach (no hotels are actually on the beach) and is is in the heart of Tel Aviv. The hotel itself is nice, if somewhat quirky, with various amenities being tucked away in random locations. I did have a little bit of regret not staying at a hotel with more service offerings (e.g. food and beverage services), but the location and the quality of the accomodations made up for this.
Rooms are big. Two TVs, dvd player, big deadsea solt shampoos and body wash, excellent coffee machine at the entrance, hotel free parking place, most of staff speak Russian and English. Not bad breakfasts but no meat or sausages at all (but it common in Israel). There was reconstraction of hotel. Lobby was closed, there was painting of the walls and paint smell. Some rooms were under construction and every day they turned off cold and hot water. Nobody have warned about this and even did not provide drinking water for cleaning teath and washing face in mornings. Moreover every early morning we were waked up by terrible noise of air-operated hammer and drilling of walls in neighbour rooms. It was terrible. I hope the construction will be finished asap. Besides be aware that most rooms face horrible dirty city parking place and ugly building which is also under construction. Ask for city view which face the sea - not the streets and 5 persent of the sea.
Loved the location, decor, amenities and bar downstairs. It probably has the best cocktail bar in all of Tel Aviv. It's chill and quiet so you can actually have a conversation. It looks like it was fully renovated not too long ago! No complaints - truly a great, lesser known hotel. Just keep it a secret so it doesn't get expensive!
The staff was attentive. The price is extremely reasonable, which makes you forgive any shortcomings. The location is great--beach, market, main streets. Overall it was worth it when we were staying in Tel Aviv a night. If I'd been staying a week I might not have been as happy with it. Small rooms, which have a good amount of wear. Spring for the balcony. It's worth the money.
The only thing I liked at Sun Aviv was breakfast. Absolutely worst hotel I have ever seen. A filthy, cheap, extremely uncomfortable rat hole. Overcharged me, too.
Nothing The hotel lobby is barely big enough for two people to stand in at the same time. There is no elevator!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pictures on the internet of the rooms are very misleading. The furniture was must have been purchased at garage sales and yard sales. We left a 1:30am wake up call request because we had to leave at 2am to get to airport. They never called us!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would have to pay me to stay there again and then I would refuse. The beds are small double beds for midgets. They are very, very short!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff in the reception were kind. Good Breakfast. This "Hotel" works meanly as a by hour hotel. So you can find couples in the reception just only looking for where to spend some hours. Corridors are overwhelmed of cigarette smoke. It seems they don't have non smokers rooms
Wonderful location, close to Rotschild Bd The staff doesn't look organized. And is not helpful: nobody helps you with your luggage despite there's no elevator.
The hotel is not too badly located in the Rothschild bvd area This was a terrible hotel. Staff was rude, it smelled like cigarette smoke absolutely everywhere (including in the room though I had specifically asked for a non- smoking room, the room was not very clean and the shower was malfunctionning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff was congenial and friendly. There was no light bulb next to my bed. The cover of the air conditioner fell on me. There was a cockroach in the bathroom.
Nothing. The maid never came, the room was tiny, it looked nothing like the pictures. Overall I thought it was sad and depressing. Hated it.
Location and price No air conditioning - TV had no insrtiuctions
Good location and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The air-con was unfortunately not working very well during our stay.
