The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location near the beach was great. There is a convenience store 2 minutes from the hotel where you can buy food/drinks on the cheap. The music from the bar started early and ended late. In the third building, it was very noticeable. One of the beds was noticeably more comfortable than the other. Different mattresses. The wifi signal was terrible. It went in and out and the connection was extremely slow.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ! !! EVERYTHING WAS WRONG!! IMPOSSIBLE TO CHECK IN.. LITERALLY ..WOULDN'T REFUND MY MONEY EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T STAY THERE. STAFF AND MANAGEMENT WEREN'T HELPFUL. TRIED TO CHARGE ME TWICE... NEVER EVER USE THIS SITE OR STAY AT THIS HOTEL.. HAD TO CUT TRIP SHORT BECAUSE OF ALL THE HASSLE !! STAY AWAY
Friendly personels, quiet, very good location, a lot of space Missing light in the wardrobes
Doormen were excellent. Close to the beach with free beach chairs. Housekeeping is very poor because they do not understand a word of English. The wall is too thin. Could not sleep because of the TV noise next door. Reception may not be efficient; was charged different rates. Had to pay extra for the taxi because of the poor response when checking-out. No prior response to my mail sent asking as to how to get on the free shuttle-bus from the airport.
My family and I felt very welcome. They were very very friendly & helpful! I highly recommended this hotel.
The staff before christmas were extremely helpful and very accommodating The staff after christmas were negligible, rude, obnoxious and unhelpful.
I had the worst experience in riveria south hotel . It was overal very bad experience . Comfort was zero in the room I didn't like the hotel overall . It was pathatic
Close to the convention center Private balcony Contemporary room styling Here's my list: -No ice machines...I had to go to the bar in my pajamas to get ice -Took over 30 minutes to check in -No one helped us with our bags even though they force you to pay $35 a day to value -Everyone seems to ignore you unless you directly speak to them -Air Conditioner was broken and they fixed the day we left...over 90 deg on SOBE! This left a wet, slippery film over the floor -Not very safe...anyone can walk into the side entrance of the hotel (there is no door whatsoever) and have access to the rooms -No room service even though there is a restaurant attached to the hotel -The beds were DEFINITELY not Tempurpedic as advertised; it is a cheap knockoff -I wouldn't stay here again unless I had to
SOME of the staff were very kind. Almost kind enough to make up for the two people who had terrible attitudes when faced with an actual customer service situation prior to them. First impression is everything. The bed was actually quite comfortable. The hotel signage is terrible for a place that makes that much money and is located on south beach. Why is that an issue here? There are multiple buildings with no parking anywhere around them and surrounded by a difficult two-lane road. The building that has the more obvious sign (shown in the picture) isn't even the building you check in at, or will likely stay. When I called trying to get assistance, the woman on the phone had a one inch fuse before I could hear her try to pass me off to somebody. She thought she was muffling the phone well enough but I could hear her telling the gentleman there how stupid I must be. They kept insisting there was a man outside, which there was nobody anywhere and she kept giving me terrible directions leading me in circles around there building as I tried to avoid letting the cars line up behind me. Finally, a gentleman I could only assume was the one she was speaking to came out and frankly spoke to me like I must be an idiot, pointing at the building aggressively yelling "Do you not see that black and white sign we are telling you about? Just use your eyes and look. This is the riviera!" in a tone that suggested I'm a child who has been crying in the back seat of his car for an hour. I didn't even feel up to letting him know they don't know left from right and he was pointing at the complete opposite of where they were guiding me on the phone. It then turned out my only option for parking was to pay $40 a night for valet. Only other option is a nearby garage for $35 a night. That is the ONLY parking option if you are driving; so budget for it. There is also a $20 hotel fee added as well. I thought the hotel fee was... Well, the rate. I had never been so frustrated by a hotel before actually even getting checked in. When expressing my discontent to the gentleman checking me in, he said he would give me a better room, which meant a room with more space and an obstacle course to the phone I needed to get to so I could ask why he though that I (checking in alone on a business trip) needed to trade the one king size bed I reserved for two smaller beds. They finally put me in the room I reserved and the bed was great besides my pillows smelling like wet towels. Let me tell you, the views of the destroyed and dilapidated buildings that just about every window comes with were great. They give you two iPod radios that have first generation plugs, so don't expect to listen to music on them. The tv had no hdmi plug to let you supplement their terrible basic cable package. Half the channels on their directory didn't work. But the fridge was stocked with overprice booze. I felt like I wasted my money and could have paid half as much for twice the experience almost anywhere else. Are there worse places? Obviously. But I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. If I was on vacation and not business, my trip would have been ruined by how short they fell of how decent they look online.
Staff friendly and helpful, very comfortable and stylish suites with excellent and good quality facilities, lots of space, great location - easy walking distance to Ocean Drive. Poolside breakfast is sufficient, Free shuttle bus to the airport is a nice touch. I will definitely stay here again, much better than the last hotel I used in Miami. Rooms are very very dark, a torch would be useful to find things in your suitcase. Note that a hotel surcharge/tax of $15/day (per suite) is billed in addition to the figure quoted on booking.com
I was injured at the hotel and the staff was rude and unhelpful. I was most surprised at the at the poor attitude of the assistant general manger. I would never stay at this hotel again.
Excelent staff very kindfull, excelent rooms, good cleanliness, great with kids.
cok merkezı bır yerdeydı.ne gurultulu nede onemlı merkezlere uzak.kendı beachı olusu avantajı ıdı.lıncoln road espanola way art deco ocean drıve 2 adımlık yerdeydı.otelde kalanlarda duzgundu aıle ve cıftler vardı.calısanlar cok yardımseverdı. odaları sık degıldı havluların rengı eskılıkten donmustu.kırlı degıldı ama daha temız olabılırdı.
Staff were excellent. Great customer service. Very friendly. Food prices were a bit high.
The location is terrific, the outside pool and pool dj is awesome. Plus the lobby is aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are terribly small and all white. Not in a cool way, but in a "one flew over the coo-coo's nest way". VERY LAME for 2014. They need to renovate this property asap. Also, nothing inside the room is clean. The little throw rug in the room had debris and old un-vacuumed crumbs all over. Very nasty.
Cleanliness and comfort. Pool area wasn't welcoming. Snobby attitudes.
They tried to solve the small problems as they appeared The location and the view are amazing, the decoration and the swimmingpool areas are very unique. A hotel like this should have free wifi: it is ridiculous to have a fee of $15 /day not for the money but for the principle. The rooms are not big; I was in an upper floor but the lower floors are very noisy as there are parties in the hotel almost every night
Great pool, great service, classy crowd
Food superb on the two occasions we had lunch. The restaurant staff very friendly and efficient. Weird smell in lifts. This was probably the cleaning agent but it smells awful.
This hotel has the most friendly staff who always welcome you back. Best pool, pool bar and DJ experience. The sushi restaurant in the lobby is outstanding. My all white decorated room faced the ocean and had spectacular view of beach. Highly recommend this property. The gym could be upgrade and/ or located in a different part of hotel (it feels like being in the dungeon of the hotel). The cable sometimes goes in and out.
It was centrally located location for a international Business meeting. The expoense was not justified by the quality of the hotel
The location, the pool and some of the staff are great. The rooms are also fairly comfortable even though they are well outdated. This place is the most absurdly expensive place even by south beach standards. It is really pathetic what they charge for food and drinks. If it wasn't for the scenic pool no one would stay here. During our stay the beach club had a pimp soliciting business very loudly on multiple days whom the hotel refused to kick out despite multiple parties complaint. The Delano is a magnet for sketchy characters. The place is surviving off of its reputation and pool alone. Go here if you don't mind being gouged and enjoy the occasional strung out pimp at the beach, but if you're looking for a modern luxury hotel, this isn't it.
The Delano was a beautiful hotel with an awesome pool and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and overall really cool. Great for a one time indulgence. The rooms were a bit small and our floor was sandy upon arrival. The all white decor was ok, but really let you know if something wasn't clean, and unfortunately many things on our bed had stains. As for the prices, they were absurd. There wasn't a single thing that was complimentary here. 30 dollars for wifi for two days, overpriced cocktails, food and drink and the biggest offense of all was the fact that you had to pay more than starbucks prices for coffee in the morning. Seriously not ok for the price you pay for just staying there. Lastly, the sushi bar was just awful, 3 pieces in and we closed our check.
Just the location and the nightlife "knowledge" of the concierge The Rooms were too old-fashioned. The Bathroom was smaller then 4m2. The elevators were bad smelling. And to have access to the fitness you had to pass through the old linen storage.
I was brought up that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I will not ever stay here again.
Location! Loved how close I was to everything I wanted to see and experience. I didn't appreciate the size of the bathrooms especially the toilet area. I did not appreciate the fact that there is no parking or even a discount through the hotel. The decor can use an upgrade.
Such a great location and a nice looking botique hotel. But everything is ruined when the house keeping staff wakes up guests at 8 am by chattering to each other loudly in the halls waking me up 3 times before 9am. I'm the guest so your staffs behavior should not impact my experience. Yes you are a botique hotel so you should scale your service accordingly and know your staffs conversations carry through the entire floor. Don't stay here!!!!
The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel was close to many attractions
The hotel as such has everything it needs to be a heaven of quitness and luxery located in a nice part of Miami Not nice to stay there in a WE because than all they attention goes to the parties that are organised in the hotel. Hotelguest don't feel welcome any more at those moments. Families with kids even can't use the swimming pool in the WE ans at the beach they close at 5.30 pm !... During the night you're awakened regulary because of the noisy party guests, returning to their room. Conclusion: nice hotel from mo. till friday afternoon but otherwise, stay away there when you're whth kids !
The beach Had smaller room from what we were told paid to upgrade
Everything exept the noise It is not a hotel; It is a discoteque with rooms. It is impossible to sleep.
Everything. Location, access, food, the pool, music, rooms, and excellent staff customer service (kudos to Laura, Sofie, DJ, and Gary). Thank you! Our building was getting ready for shut down for renovations, wish we knew about it in advance but not a big deal, just a matter of optionality for rooms and extended stay.
I liked the smell of the lobby and it brought back memories for me when this was one of the coolest spots to stay in Miami Beach. It has definitely lost that X factor. Everything feels dingy and not kept up. Checking in was the longest process I have ever been through aNd the girl seemed nervous. Maybe she was new, but it was over and over the same information and had multiple cards for all kinds of things, unlike any check in experience I have had before. Seems like they get stiffed by other guests a lot before. The security are constantly checking if you are staying there and annoying...definitely have decided to hire less than personable staff in general. One of the front desk girls when handing me the final bill, held it out to me without looking at me as if passing on to the next task, CUSTOMER SERVICE 101! Treat each guest as if they are the only person in your world at that moment and look them in the eye with a smile. In general, the whole world has lost this touch, but you would think a 300 a night hotel would still care about this. Finally made it to the beach chair area after being asked twice to show room key by security and then the beach chair guy wanted me to walk all the way back to his booth to check in instead of just taking care of me at my chair. When I refused and told him to take care of it, he kept calling me boss in a derogatory way like I was asking too much. Hire people that care and understand that the only reason they have a job is because of people like me choosing your hotel!! This is standard and not asking too much. I should have great things to say because they did all of this basic stuff and then decided to do more!! They all need help on how to treat guests. There was a blood stain on newly replaced linen in my room. They did an okay job of responding but it should have never happened!!! They only took off the resort fee and $50 and then didn't do it! Had to remind the people upon checkout and they acted like I was lying to them. The valet brought my car when I asked and left it in the rain and not under the overhang!!! What?!! When I asked him to bring it out of the rain his reply was that they were too busy and slapped me on the shoulder like I was his friend and gave me a dirty look like I was asking too much. hahaha I will never again recommend this hotel to anyone as I always have in the past. I'M GOING BACK TO AIRBNB WHEN I TRAVEL NOW. HOTELS LIKE THIS ARE COMMON NOW.
It location is great and the beach is lovely right out front. The rooms are tired and need a refresh. The check in process was strange. We were told that they were sold out of the room category and we would be upgraded for one night and then had to move. We went back the next day and since I guess we were prepaid they tried to give us a handicapped room and was told this was the only one available. We had an argument with front desk manage Sandra and after three tries we got a room overlooking the parking lot that was acceptable.
It's a very nice minimalist Hotel. Extremely expensive in the amenities like parking and brakfast no
Location Old bed , not comfortable
All around great staff Rooms are in need of a facelift. subpar wedding DJ's at the pool, bring earplugs. Sloppy Sunday crowd.
Food Shows very poorly, everything seems worn and in need of replacement
Great location, nice pool, good restaurants, fun/clubby scene Rooms were a bit dated. I had a pool side bungalow (#1) and the downstairs was just wasted space. Didn't even have a couch!
The resturants. delicious food. The service at the pool wasn't great could be a lot better.
The employees helped us a lot and were, very, very friendly! I recomend! No, I liked all in this Hotel
I could use wireless internet in my room. Full-fledged kitchen was very nice. It was very noisy on only Friday night.
friendly staff, good suite with everything You need. Perfect location. The only minus was construction site nearby. But it was not Hotel's fault. Noisy aircon.
i like the spacious suites, good service and pleasant staff could not view the ocean from the hotel
Location was good, wooden floors in the room, very friendly and helpful staff. The shower unfortunately left more water out throught the tab than through the showerhead. At the pool construction work was in full swing which caused quite some noise, but the sister hotel at the other side of the street was accessible for guests so this offered a good alternative.
Nice and comfortable hotel, close to many MB attactions. Helpfull staff. Old furnishing, small parking lot. Noise from near construction.
Spacious suite, well equiped in the middle of art deco but in quiet setting. Great staff and good breakfast.
clean rooms comfortable beds The bartender was very slow
Its in south beach, close to restaurants, liquor stores, pharmacies (cvs and walgreens), that lincoln road mall thing, so you really dont need a car. Beach is a block away. Location in a general way is very nice. Pool is pretty big. Employees are nice. Beds were a little on the hard side, water from shower had no pressure, so showering wasnt the best experience either. But i mean, its there, so its not really a big deal. Thats it really. Oh, no complimentary coffee until 11:30 but thats just me being a cheap bastard.
The cuisine at the restaurants was delicious. The pool was beautiful and the beach access a plus. The rooms were well decorated and the staff friendly. The location was also great. The rooms were small and there were not black out curtains. So, between the "thin walls" (hearing the cleaning staff banging around in the morning) and the light coming into our room, it was hard to sleep much past 7am. The price for drinks was extremely high and I did not appreciate having 19% added for gratuity before I even had a chance to evaluate the service.
Staff was outstanding - particularly te front desk team! Restaurant menu was limited and the food was below par.
The Hotel staff support Nothing
Very nice pool. Hotel staff was friendly. Booking.com price was different that what I was charged at hotel. Hotel charged about 30 bucks more a night.
Nothing. We booked 6 nights, but leaved the hotel immediatly the next morning. All! Awful reception/blankets on the receptiontable; painting works; looked like a caserne! Old, bad smelling;
The bartender was extremely informative, professional and mad very good drinks. Happy hour was nice. The elevator broke and we were stuck for 15 minutes. Also the towel rack in the bathroom broke, however it was promptly replaced. I was incorrectly charged for room flip flops, it was also promptly corrected.
Price and location Small elevator
The service was great! The staff made our stay fun and carefree. Clean, updated rooms. Fun atmosphere and a great location. Highly recommended.
Location Room size was extremely small and the maid service was pretty slow--I had to ask twice to get the room cleaned. We checked out four days early and changed hotels.
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Awesome location. Very clean and great decor.
I loved the exceptional customer service, Natalya was amazing. Customer service makes or breaks a vacation and the national definitely made it. Didn't like that our room was on the stairway but it worked out because we had loud music and we didn't disturb the neighbors.
Great access to beach, beautiful pool area. It took 50 min to get my car. I was told it was because of "shift change". I asked for the manager to call but they never did. Unreliable Internet. I was unable to connect.
It was incredible. The hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool and beach. The staff is friendly and provide wonderful service. I would stay again at the National without a doubt.
The location, easy to get to the beach One of the pools were being reconstructed, but there wasn't a notice about it anywhere on the site. Should've gave guest a discount. Very disappointed
It's nice to be in the middle of everything yet there is not a scene at this boutique hotel. Rather it is mellow and elegant. No ice machine and restrictions from bringing on outside food and drink
We had a great stay till the end when they overcharged my card and a week later they are still holding the money. Jessica the Reservations Manager is rude and unprofessional. Very pricey and on top of that they hold over $400 you never spent on your card..RIDICULOUS!
Nothing Air broke 2 nights terrible service terrible crowd and the TV was broken my whole stay. Everyday is have to complain about it and nothing was done. When I asked for at least a night or 2 free because of the inconvenience I was denied
We loved the pool and beach access at the hotel. The outside staff was amazing and super helpful. The $19 a day charge for pool/beach service was WELL worth the money spent. The first 2 rooms they tried to put us in were IN the stairwell. We read reviews that the hotel will put people in those rooms. It was VERY frustrating but they did end up moving us to a normal room on the 3rd trip down to the front desk.
Great location, architecture, and a clean room. The beach out back was beautiful and servers at the bar out back were great. There was a party there that didn't stop until 1am. Carpet wasn't laid correctly and had many humps to trip you up sometimes. Bed was on a wooden box frame with sharp corners that stuck out far enough to leave a few marks on your shins.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy walking distance to the beach and shopping. The staff was friendly and the price was right for my expectations. The continental breakfast was lacking and the room was pretty small for 4 people.
Location was great.
Overall, the hotel was not to my expectation, especially about the cleanliness and room quality. The photos were misleading ...
The location is perfect near the beach and the main streets Size of the room especially bathroom, noisy for the first rooms near the street, content of the breakfast very poor
very clean and nice room the breakfast was a bit poor
- Location was perfect, near to the beach and the centre of Miami South Beach A arrival the receptionist told that the price was higher than we booked on the site of booking.com, we disagreed, and after a discussion, we paid the price as agreed. Bathroom was small and outdated.
the location, the rates and the staff were super
The location and staff was excellent. The airconditioneer made some noice and the breakfast was poor.
The friendly service and the location near the beach and Lincoln Mall were definitely the strongest assets of the hotel. The room was a bit hot despite of the AC and there was no trash bin in the room. The breakfast was a bit too basic. A bit of fruits and yogurt would have made it a lot better.
great location, just a block from Lincoln Road , plenty of restaurants and clubs. Also, very close from the beach. breakfast is not very complete
The location is excellent and although it is an old hotel the room quality is very good. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Checkout is at 12 noon, the hotel allows you to continue to use the hotel facilites (eg pool) but there is a lack of shower facilities available. Coffee maker in the room would have been great.
Perfect location at South Beach. Walking distance to Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road and the art deco district.I had room 307, which is one of the delux king rooms in the arched part of the hotel. A great room. Quiet even though it faces James Ave and Lincoln Road. Bathroom is on the small side as others have mentioned, but this did not bother me at all. Free use of guest computer. The pool and the pool area was nice. I will return to this hotel when I get a chance. It would be great if they could change out the old TV with a flat screen.
Some new staff very helpful. More experienced staff not as helpful. Hotel Lobby needs remodeling. Old and run down. Non-smoking room had been smoked in.
geat location, excellent staff and good facilites, including breakfast. not the most luxurious spot in SB but great for business travel.
The building, decoration, cleanlinessand, staff and location. The size of the petite room: it was miniscule.
I like the hotel location, staff and their hospitality at accomodations our requests Food at the hotel was too costly
Although I had booked a petite room I was lucky and was upgraded to a beautiful room. Very convenient location.
Location. Room was also nice. Nothing fancy, but nice. Modern and simple. My shower didnt work on the day I arrived. But they promptly fixed it.
Location, location, location. Overpowering cleaning/chemical smell in the lobby.
The decoration of the lobby, the swimming pool, the location of the hotel The room a bit small
location in proximity to South Beach
The location was perfect for a spring break aadventure. The doors didn't block any noise, i could clearly hear people in the hallway and they were doing some construction all Sunday morning.
Good hotel. Close to beach. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Night shift worker Omar is a awesome guy. Really helpful. Made our stay a pleasure. No parking. But you get that everywhere. Parking lot real close around the corner tho. Cost a bit but it is convenient.
Convenient to Convention Center and within walking distance, convenient to shopping and thoroughfare. For the price we would have appreciated a complimentary continental breakfast bar or at least coffee.
manager did not know anything outside of hotel ,eg parking in the surrounding area, also no refrigerator in room, which is a given.i did not get what i payed for ie 2 beds in the room
We did like the hotel as it had no facilities as tea/coffee, microwave, fridge in the hotel. No blanket at all in the room. Only two bath towels after the first day and did not change the sheets for all the 5 days we stayed in the hotel.Overall very poor receptionist even when asked to get upgrade as we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and paying $105 per day plus tax but refused to change the hotel room. No safe in the room which is most important.
I made reservation and checked in but i was very disapointed i.internet was free but there are no internet at room and they haev internet at lobby but still not working.
Hotel Style so cool.well situated, silente and clean. Near convention center ( walking distance)
The hotel is not a 5 star but it is great to go party. the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had a great time!
the location. the room was too unwelcoming. a bedside fridge with something as small as a bottle of water in it won't be a bad idea.
great value for money. Clean room, comfy bed, great location
Friendly staff, excellent location, reasonable value, free wifi A bit noisy as we were on the first floor and could hear everything going on outside the main street
The rooms were clean, modern, and all around good looking. I will stay there again. Staff was very polite, and helpful. N/A
Good Hotel for the value The water pressure
The Raleigh captures the romantic appeal of a classic Miami beach-front hotel, with a welcoming lobby, luxurious pool and friendly staff. However, the guest rooms are tiny and cramped, with claustrophobic bathrooms (and ants in the sink drain) and no fridge or coffee maker. Also, the cost for valet parking ($39/night + tax) was exorbitant, but at least they didn't tack on a separate resort fee to our bill.
Nice "Old Miami" feel to it, pool area was nice with all the tropical palms surrounding It . Good coffee shop and pastries Out door bars should have some mounted fans for customers also not just the bartenders, felt outdoor lounges also could have been nicer with some color to them , white is boring, , a few small shelves in bathrooms would be nice to place your toiletries !! We stayed here and walked to the SLS a block south and sat at their bar everyday was a cool vibe, but I would stay here again !! We did order 2 glasses of wine in the Martini bar area asked for a glass of water also when we order but didn't get it, asked again but same bartender again forgot ??? Either has short term memory loss or just didn't want to do it??we even tipped addition to what is added
Nothing Unfriendly staff Small rooms Not worth it for the price
I have been staying at The Raleigh for years as it had always lived up to its self proclaimed title of the "grand dame" of south beach. Sadly if current management continues in the direction witnessed during my stay over the 4th, The Raleigh as we knew it is gone. Before this last nightare of a stay I would have described The Raleigh as romantic, beach/waterfront, boutique but now I would describe it as having poor service, poor management, poor cleanliness. The interesting part was that everyone working there knew it was awful, it seemed the upper level management/decision makers for the property were off site for the weekend or perhaps hiding as it was that bad. The Raleigh gave a promoter license to utilize the grounds for a two day fourth of July party however did not alert any guests of it. Had we and every other guest we encountered during our stay had known we would have booked elsewhere. It was a nightmare, there was no service for hotel guests, the pool was crammed and dirty/disgusting. There was a DJ with brain rattling base music blasting from morning to night.
I loved the pool! The restaurant was also great the food was yummy and the service was great. I also liked the concierge he was really helpful. The staff in general were really friendly and helpful. The Art Deco feel threw me off a bit as I'm used to staying in hotels that are a bit more modern. I wished that the room had a little fridge to put my refreshments like they typically do at other hotels.
Beautiful art deco hotel. Awesome pool, pool deck and access to the beach. Great for lap swimming and hanging out. Staff was helpful, really friendly, courteous and prompt. Close to great restaurants and clubs. Dulce, across the street in the Gale has excellent Italian food. Rooms and systems in serious need of updating. Although clean, rooms are fairly small and attention to detail was not great. Worst was the clanging pipes all night long. We had to turn on the fan to overcome the constant banging. We thought it was the elevator but other guests had the same problem. AC barely functioned on last night. The TV had so much static we could not use it and screen res was terrible.
Perfect location, beautiful pool. No internet. Very hard mattress.
Beautiful pool, lobby, bar and restaurant. Perfectly decent, if slightly outdated, rooms. A very nice place to spend a weekend. Lots of fees and very expensive valet parking only, but I think that's true of all hotels in the area. Their website could be a little more informative.
The hotel was close to the beach and had a cool pool area. We took their last reservation of the night at their nice restaurant and despite spending $150-200 on a bottle of wine and steaks, we were told to hurry up and order as soon as we got there because "the kitchen was closing". It wasn't very classy. Our statement at checkout also had some BS extra charges we had to dispute. More hassle than it was worth except for the nice location.
rooms, pool, service
Location is great. Short walk to beach and Raleigh has beach chairs towels there as part of resort fee. Pool is big - lounge chairs in pool which are cool. Good food in restaurant - a little expensive but worth it. Empanadas were excellent. Get breakfast at Rosetta Bakery which is close by instead of expensive breakfast at hotel. Had to pay $19 for umbrella at beach. Asked for early check-in. Arrived at 1:30 and had to wait until after 3 for room.
hotel staff was very friendly, very nice swimming pool area, great hotel room, very clean and great location
wonderful rooms with good access to beach. Staff always willing to help hotel overnight parking is expensive plus not on site
1. The Art work displayed throughout the public areas. 2. Location. 3. Breakfast at the terrace. 4. Beach access and pool area facilities. Request for a two double bed room was not honored. The sofa bed is terribly uncomfortable.
Food and beverage were poorly organized. False alarm at 4.30 am, all guests evacuated to the open street and no word next day about it!!!!
I enjoyed the entire facility. I also enjoyed the fact that it was a more intimate hotel and then say the 'Fountain Blue'. I was very pleased with my stay.
The position of the hotel, on the Ocean and near the shopping/restaurant street of Lincoln and Ocean Drive makes it a prime site of Miami Beach. Great morning breakfast (advisable to buy the Premium package that include breakfast and sunchair at the beach for $29 a day) Staff sometime slow, expecially the guys at the beach. The standard room we booked was quite basic, we upgrade for an extra $100 a day for an excellent Ocean view suite. Carefull when paying, they charge an extra deposit that I'm waiting to get credited back (1 week approx $400)
The location of the hotel is great! Also they were accomodating for early check-in and late check-out. Since the hotel is on the smaller side it's "quiet". There was not a bar open that we could get a drink at when it was raining outside.
Great attitude of staff - excellent location and extremely comfortable Nothing of consequence
it was fun no complains
The staffs are very nice. Although they could not provide the double-bed room, they upgrade my room to suite with no more charges. The beds and toilets are very comfortable. The breakfast is more or less expensive.
Not much. The room is super small and the location is about 20-30 mins away from the 'hot spots' of Miami Beach. Granted, the hotel is pretty expensive, I would rather book a place closer to the restaurants/beach. Also, I found stains on the sheets/pillow covers.

Definitely a high price venue. While the room cost is high, you are not nickel and dimed for everything else like at other hotels on the strip (e.g., you do not pay for beach chairs)... Rooms are a little on the small side. Great for a luxury/exclusive weekend but gets a little tight beyond a couple nights.
The staff was so friendly and professional The room although it was gorgeous was quite small and there wasn't any room to keep hung of folded clothes
