New modern hotel. Nice rooms, bathroom design was excellent. Pillows too firm. No facecloth.
hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. really felt like they strove to achieve true hospitality. they facilitated pickups superbly and the whole experience with them was all a traveller could wish for and more.
Great location with a very short walk to the old town. Informative staff. Very close - 5 minutes - to the Split airport. We also stayed in Split at the start of our vacation but based on our experience in Trogir I would stay there and just take a very short ferry to Split to see the town etc.
The room was really nice!!! Would have been nice to be closer to the "old town"...
It was central, the staff helpful and very friendly Breakfast perhaps not up to 4 star hotel standard..
Very convenient location to the old city, about 300 yards away..
Close to the old town and port. Comfortable and very new and modern enterieur. Far from the beach. A bit noisy because of the airplanes.
We were very impressed by the quality of the hotel, in particular the high standard of furniture and fittings. The location is excellent, our room had a superb view of the old town of Trogir. Best of all were the staff, very friendly and helpful. We had a late arrival and were dealt with very promptly and politely, and a taxi was arranged for us early the following morning.
We stayed in the superior apartment. The finishings were to a very high standard and we were wowed from the start. The one balcony had great views over the old town of Trogir and the other over the sea. The hotel is very close to the old town (less than 5 minutes walk) and we loved our stay here. Would recommend the hotel without a doubt. Some people did mention that the hotel was in the flightpath, but it was never a problem for us. We were out walking during the day and returned later in the evening (to take great photos from the balcony) at which time no planes were landing.
Very friendly staff. Large rooms with large beds!
Excellent location for Trogir and Split. Hotel staff went bpout of their way to help when we had a medical issue. Would use this hotel again.
Place was not awful, but not great. The breakfast was actually pretty good and the rooms were ok - just not for the money. The place is located on a busy (and loud) street, right across the bridge from the city. The rooms are quite plain and there is not much of a view. Our air conditioner worked, which is a plus, but it was really loud and woke us up at 5am. For the money, this place was not worth it.
The friendly and helpful staff Location to the busy road
It was very convenient to shop at Trogir, very clean, and the breakfast was very good, and the staff was very accommodating The hotel advertised having a washer and dryer, which we needed, but it did not have this convenience, however they did take our soiled clothes and wash them for us. We did appreciate this. The one thing that bothered me most wasnot taking my credit card. We had to come up with the cash which we found to be a problem and they would not take travelers checks which also was a problem.
The staff were excellent. They were very pleasant & more than helpful. The location was perfect. n/a
Excellent staff, very helpful with good communication skills. Easy to find with good parking in a congested town. Would stay again.
Everything was excellent. Spacious room, rich continental breakfast, good location-near center of city Trogir. 10 minutes from the beach by taxi boat. Very friendship service. I hope to spend my new vacations in this hotel.
Good location, facilities & price. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
TV good, bed good, quite close to city center the room smelled! couldn't sleep well because of the noise. you couldn't even open the window at night because of the smell outside (the hotel seems to be located in an industrial area)
There was an amazing view from my balcony overlooking the marina. I felt really peaceful and calm during my stay - exactly what I wanted. The art and sculptures around the hotel were beautiful. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly. I'm not sure if I dropped on a particular party weekend, but there was quite loud music from across the marina from a couple of the bars. Also my towels were changed every day, which I though unneccessary and a bit unenvironmental.
We loved the avant garde feel of the garden; the close proximity of the marina and old city. The staff were great, especially Antonia; she was wonderful, cheerful and very kind. Seve, the dog, is adorable. Altogether made us feel very relaxed. leaving!!!
The friendliness of the owners. The excllent service given by Senella the memeber of their staff They should make arrangements with credit card companies. Fire regualtions should be reviewed
A large house by the ACI Marina, actually on the island of Ciovo which connects to Trogir by a bridge 200 metres from the Domus. The room had good aircon, adequate bathroom with shower and a balcony overlooking the garden with it trees and several sculptures created by the owner. A couple of pergola/tent affairs in the garden are used for breakfast or just lounging with a book, beer/wine etc. Great location, great value, beautiful outlook.
Great location with views of the water through the palm trees and yachts. Next to yacht club so could access there facilities like washing machines.
Very good locaction, interesting and quite garden, good breakfast ($), and staff(we really only saw one person) was great. Did not take plastic.
The location was perfect for walking into the town- about 5 mins over the bridge along side the marina and there were supermarkets/ bars/ restaurants near by. You also got a beautiful view of the marina and town when you walked out of the gates. The hotel setting was beautiful with balconies to sit out on, palm trees and lemon trees were around the garden to give a real sense of being "on holiday abroad". Staff were helpful. There was a busy road towards the front of the hotel but the double glazing was very good so it wasn't a real problem at all (and with the air-con to cool you down if nesessary apart from airing the room maybe during the day, the window didn't need to be open!
Helpful and friendly staff. Great location Nothing to complain about.
view from balcony Rooms were rather small
Very funky room and bathroom. Excellent location. No.
Good location and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly bountiful and included an offer of a freshly cooked omelette to order. For the money the facilities are poor. Everything in the room was very run down and old - TV, cheap bin, air con barely worked, toilet very crampt and toiletries bare minimum only offered. The windows were stuck and in need of attention. Despite advertisement of breakfast out on their terrace, there were no table or chairs outside whatsoever.
Yes, the personal was quite nice, the hotel has a good location, it's clean, an not very expensive. Due to its centrical situation it is a bit noisy at night. They had a problem with the pipes, that didn´t work properly and sounded terrificaly at night. They changed us into another room, but we still had the same problem. I hope the would be able ti fix it.
Superb location on the promenade in the beautiful medievel town of Trogir.Free public parking near hotel.Excellent breakfast and very helpful friendly staff.Room with sea view. Bed a little uncomfortable. Bells noisy in the morning if you forget to close the double glazed windows.
The setting of the hotel was outstanding; the view from the room over the marina was calling for a longer stay; the calmness on the terrasse was...peacefull; the room was excellent....the only problem with this review is - what more people will visit the hotel and cause a "fully-booked-situation" Check the air-condition in room 2
Great location on Trogir. The room was clean although small and a great breakfast. Small room
Nice quiet hotel. All the staff is very friendly and kind - for example, when we came back in the middle of the night, it was no problem to enter the hotel - they opened the door quiclky. It's not easy to find the hotel when you arrive - you need someone's help or detailed map. Rooms are a bit small but it's a price you have to pay for living in the heart of medieval town.
Excellent location, right in the center of the old twon. Car parking is far away.
Friendly hotel in the centre of Trogir, basic room, very good lokation, good service. It is good to know that you park just outside Trogir and walk with your luggage to the hotel passing a steep bridge.
The hotel gives to us a apartament because doesn't have free rooms. It was a big apartament, over 60m2, with a big tv, jacuzzy, etc. No free wifi, no lift (the apartment it's on the 4th floor)
Location is incredibly close to the airport and literally only meters away from a great selection of restaurants and bars in such a fantastic little city. There is a huge variety of sight seeing attractions and tourist facilities. I will definitely be back!
The staff was nice and helpful. Between the check out and our departure (by plane) we had 8 hours and they kindly offered their help to facilitate these difficult hours. We could leave the luggage, we could change in the bathroom and they offered good programs for the afternoon. n/a
Well located in the lovely old town, close to the airport and good place to kill some time on the way to Marina Kremik. Very good restaurant and a nice room with jacuzi No elevator
Nice hotel in a great location in the centre of Trogir and very close to lots of lovely restaurants and the marina. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Some facilities were not good condition. Air conditioning unit of one room does not work.
perfect location, frendly staff, good restorant, good price small room
Good service, nice breakfast, great location. Pricey, a little noise from the street. No view really except of the street.
nice employee at reception. good restaurant, same owner as hotel i am told.
A small, comfortable, hotel with very pleasant staff who made our stay most welcome. Quiet, despite its central location in Trogir. We would happily go back again.
Villla Meri is situated in the middle of the beautiful old city of Trogir. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.
Central position. Very kind staff. Very comfortable bed. No parking.
An excellent way to visit Trogir. Charming, non-standard rooms, excellent location. Be careful, there is no elevator, and many staircases.
well located in small walled city, charming, located conveniently to the Split airport in Croatia.
The hotel was charming with antique furniture, but also modern conveniences. It was located in a quiet area of Trogir which we appreciated as we were trying to adjust to the time change from the US. Dragging our luggage up the stairs, but it was a good upper body work out.
Delightful staff , friendly and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning after a very early flight and our rooms were already available at 0930 charmiong rooms in a .great location breakfast not great = poor quality fruit juice and a weird coffee machine, but excellent eggs or omelettes ofered as part of the deal
The decor of the room and its proximity to the old town. problem getting wireless access - would not work for us. Clearer instruction on locating the car park.
Nice hotel in central Trogir. Excellent location. Since the hotel was recently redecorated and otherwise very nice indeed, it was very surprising that both the water tap in our bathroom was loose, that the shower was leaking considerable amounts of water on the bathroom-floor and that the defunct light-bulb over the mirror in the bathroom was not changed. Besides the safe in the room didn't work; it was locked. Suprprising that they had not see this themselves. When we had asked about the safe and nothing happened, we could not spend our holiday on the three other things which they could well see themselves. So we smiled politely and hope that this feedback will help them. If this is fixed, we would like to come back and alsp to recommend the place.
Excellent location-proximity to everything worth seeing. Nice rooms. Clean. Do not follow booking.com instructions to reach hotel! Do not believe what booking.com tells you about free parking! No free parking: 10 euros a day with hotel's parking card.
The old style furnishings and traditional Croatian menu created an authentic experience. I didn't enjoy carrying our bags up three flights of stairs with no help from staff.
The quaint features and intimate size, only 7 or 8 rooms. The room was two twin beds pushed together, would have preferred a larger bed for two.
Location and safety
Great location in Trogir. Lovely old antiques in the rooms--felt very luxurious. Nice staff--very helpful. Breakfast was good. thought about eating dinner there also, but our friends chose elsewhere. Hard to lug our too-heavy suitcases up the stairs.
Good breakfast, spacious room, quiet, parking in front of the hotel.
Breakfast was excellant lots of choice and relaxing atmosphere Bathroom good do with updating
Large balcony. The hotel staff was a little bit unprepared for this job. Cleaning was only satisfactory.
good location potential to be a good hotel, but everything needed a facelift. breakfast was a let down with stale bread
nice folks, nice room, nice service, great cleaning lady that spoke english and was very helpful. out of town and out of the way. i was there only for one night to catch a flight the next day. hoped to sightsee but the hotel was not near anything.
The staff from the moment of checkin were more than accomodating with reviews of local attractions services that were unbiased. The resteraunt was exceptionally good value for money and the suggestions for both food and wine were fair and well appreciated. I would have (and actually already have) no compunction to recommend this hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the setting idyllic. It was off the beaten track but easily accessible and convenient for Split airport. Lovely room with a wonderful view. Great value. No
Silent surrounding, Bus connection with Trogir, Food on a low level
We received a warm welcome from staff. It was quite a long way out of town and a long drive from the airport.
Beautiful view, room was clean and comfortable.
All the staf was really friendly and helpfull.
Easy access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. A little ferry went to trogir every 30 min. so we avoided traffic. The view from our balcony of the water and the mountains was beautiful.
Great for relax in swimming pool and also close to the beach.
Close to Trogir, very friendly staff
The hotel was new and very close to the centre. It had laundry service and air-conditioner. The room was nice but it was a garret, so the ceiling wasn't very high.
tha views form the room noisy!! the personal didn't sleep in the hotel, they don't have reception at night and that day came to the hotel a drunk persons and made a big noise!!
We found the manager and family very helpful and friendly
Very helpful staff, clean and good value for money. I sent them an email as I think I left 2 pairs of prescription glasses behind but I have heard nothing back from them.
People in the hotel are very friendly and helpfull. They take time to discuss with you and give you some advice. The situation of the hotel is in the center of Trogir with a very beautifull point of view on the old city. It's a very good hotel.
The location was great - just over the bridge from the main town so away from the noise of Trogir's tiny streets. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean.
We had a very nice welcome by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was spotless and very close to the old town of Trogir. no
Great location, very clean and friendly family ran small hotel. There were no guest reviews for this hotel
Great base to visit Trogir which is a must to see on the coast (stay here rather than in Split). Don't be put off from the outside appearance, as inside the rooms are modern and well-appointed. Staff are fantastically friendly and helpful. Town centre is only a hop and a skip away. Finding the place in the dark can be a bit of a problem as entrance is down a side street; parking can be a bit of a mare too. Some steps up to reception. Breakfast room a little cramped.
Kind personel, the hotel is placed really nice, good restaurent, free parking near hotel
The staff of the hotel was very kind and polite and the lokation of the hotel was more than perfect. To get parkingplace close to the hotel because of the narrow streets in the downtown was sometimes not easy but at the end allways successfull:-)
Hotel Trogir was a nice hotel. Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Not very big, but okey for just a couple of days. The price was okey. Okey breakfast included. Only downside was the personal. They knew very little about Trogir and actually gave us wrong information about ferry times. They also did not seem familiar with booking.com and payment procedure. Would stay there again.
Freindly helpful staff. Comfortable bed with all usual facilities in room. Spotlessly clean. We were lucky to get the room with balcony. No tea or coffee making facilities in room (but I know this is normal in some countries). Room not very large.
A well-located and comfortable hotel. It would have been useful to know the parking arrangements before our arrival.
The hotel was a well run and friendly family business. They were very helpful and kind when I injured my foot and needed extra support. Having hurt my foot I would have appreciated a lift to my second floor room, but it's a small hotel and I don't know where they could have put one.
Great location, friendly staff.
Beautifully equiped but extremely small room
The shutters, the shower for croatia was nice and big the bathroom amenties The street noise is very loud
central location i the old town
Very nice hotel. The location is perfect in the center of the old town of Trogir. The rooms are clean and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is really good and is a good candidate for your evening meal. If you go by car the hotel lets you use a parking lot in a nearby public parking space - free of charge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Trogir and I will definitely stay here again the next time. The breakfast could perhaps be a little bit better, but it's not bad.
Situated in the World Heritage site of Trogir, Hotel Tragos offers comfortable accommodation and excellent cuisine, in a well maintained old building. The staff are friendly and efficient.
traditional features, family run, very welcoming
Charming hotel and great staff.
Trogir is the most stunning location and the best thing about this hotel is that you are at the centre of this unique place. The hotel is within the city walls and that means that there is no transport to the hotel door (but the walk to the hotel is very short), you will have to carry your luggage up the steep staircase and the church bells will wake you up at 5am. But if you are looking for a friendly, clean place in the town centre, that is affordable and friendly, this is a pefect spot for a being a part of the most beautiful city on the Adriatic.
Lovely terrace garden where breakfast was served, excellent breakfast, recently refurbished good quality bathroom, hotel building with character well preserved in historic heart of town No lift could be an issue for some people - our bedroom was on the third floor
This old hotel is in the centre of the old part of Trogir. The limestone walls and polished marble staircase is like stepping back in time. However the rooms are relatively modern. Air con good and the double glazing effective in excluding street noise. The hotel has a great attached restaurant and one of only two that takes credit cards. Staff were obliging but occasionally distracted. Breakfast was in a pleasant courtyard. Being in the centre of the old town you need to get your bags in but the staff help with this.
the friendly staff As it is in the pedestrian area, parking and transportation of luggage were challenging.
atmosphere, location, helpful staff
The staff were really welcoming and helpful, the room was atmospheric, large and comfortable and in the very centre of the old town. Breakfast was simple but offered a range of food including some healthy options. My room was a little noisy as it faced the village sqaure, however this did add to the atmosphere with church bells chimming etc!
This hotel has an excellent loaction and the room we had was spacious and comfortable with a separate lounge area. The reception was not open all day so it is important to arrive at the right time or to make special arrangemts.
The room was wonderful, spacious and full of antique furniture, with a huge bathroom. Location couldn't be better, right in the centre of the oldest part of Trogir. Friendly hosts who were very helpful. Highly recommended.
Very friendly wecome and helpful staff. Excellent location in the centre of Trogir with restaurants etc. on the doorstep. The villa had lots of character and the room (no. 7) was very spacious and comfortable. We were on the top floor and had to negotiate three flights of stairs to get to our room.
Very friendly attentive staff, relaxed informal atmosphere. Excellent hotel location in historic city centre; hotel itself an attractive period building. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished. Considering location and facilities extremely good value for money. Not at all
The Hotel is in the center of the village, The staff was very friendly and the romms were very good.
Old town charm and a great central location in Trogir. The room was full of character: clean, comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast made our stay very enjoyable.
Brilliant location in the heart of Trogir. Friendly helpful staff and a large comfortable room No
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and the room was so beautiful I never wanted to leave. The fact that breakfast was included in the rate was very convenient.
An excellent location for visiting Split and Trogir. Lovely views from terrace. Helpful and welcoming staff.
Spacious, very clean rooms with balcony, AC, sat-TV. Great breakfast. The restaurant offers very good and fresh food, especially from the grill. Very nice retaurant terrace with view to the bay of Split. Nice and quiet location on the sweet island of Ciovo (hotel is right on the street but nut loud). Beautiful town of Trogir is only 5 mins. by scooter, car or bus. Small beaches, beach bar and supermarket in walking distance. Ask the Hotel for free of charge airport transfer > very fair! Hotel has no lift. Big stairs to the reception and only stairs to 3rd or 4th floor. Quite painfull with luggage. We had a superiour room with sea view, but after 6pm the balcony was totally smoked from the restaurant grill. They should mount a much longer chimney on their grill! The really cute beaches are on the other side of the island (Okrug Gornij).
The hotel is very nice, the breakfast is good and the sea is near Everything was good
Friiendly & Helpful Proprieters & Staff. The Menu and Food were good Lack of lift or assistance - I was 3 floors up and carrying the baggage was a struggle
We got more than we expected in our room. Beautiful view from the patio outside our room. I wish we had booked for another day there for it would have been so nice. We loved our Quattro Formaggio pizza we had for dinner and the breakfast was fantastic too. The staff were excellent and worked hard. I will dream of returning. I did find the light switches and hair blower way high for the average person. I had to get my husband to get them for me. But that is nothing compared to the good service and excellent accommodations.
very friendly staff, great location cause not far away from Trogir, reasonable price
quiet location, terrace view onto the sea, ease of parking (provided)
The hotel was nice but too far from Trojir and from the airport for us
very good service and excellent food for a correct price we where based on the 4th floor meaning i lost about 5 kg climbin,g the steps several times a day, is this good or bad :) I guess for people who are a bit elderly the absence of an elevator is an issue
Great location. Helpful staff. Hard beds.
the hotel was in a great location, clean and well presented. Good value for money. We would definatly rebook Hotel Ivanka when we go back n/a
Very helpfull owner, he was like a "city-guide", gave us all informations about restaurants, shops, bars, things to see etc. The best is that the accomodation is in the very centre of old town, so we really didn't need any transportation.
Location and staff were excellent Everything was excellent
Very good, nice, clean and quiet place in the very center of old town. Only 100 meters from the sea, and is surrounded by lot of cafes and restaurants. Very helpful and communicative staff. So everything was fine. Maybe the presence of breakfests would be good.
Very good location, right in the middle of the old town. The room was very nice and clean.
The owner was very friendly and offered us a choice of rooms. He also gave us a souvenir book that discussed Trogir history. The room was very nice and was quiet despite being in the center of town.
Perfect location in the heart of the old town. We had an apartment on the top floor with a beautiful view over the roofs.
The adress provided by the website is not the right one!!!We spent long time trying to find it, and when we call the Hotel number, we found out that it was in fact a romm rental agency... which address also doesnt mach with the one provided...it would be impossible to find the place!
Central but quiet location in Trogir. Apartment is spotless and as new with aircon, fridge, sat tv, shower/wc and view over small square with restaurants. Cleaner didn't visit during our stay but this din't cause too much of a problem as clean towels and toileteries were available.
Staff was helpfull but chaotic, just in one word.... Nice restaurant in the little city (just a five minutes walk... ) No Clean room & towels for the second night.Overall -> Back to basic. Everything around and in the house needs some attention (the beach-spot where sun-screens + standards are broken, the garden (almost dead tomatoes and more weeds) a little old fashioned rooms, bedsheets etc.Messy in the house....So a restyle, painter, cleaning-team and gardener are more than welcome. The most dazed i was about all rubbish there was next to the house... ( a little messy everywhere, the room for all bath-stuff (snorkling gear)) and to be honnest the location itself next to the sea.... could be a paradise on earth....Hotel Corona, please make up your mind... change the basics... and enjoy your guests, they will appreciate it!!
Breakfasts quite good. Terrible place! Situated on the Ciovo island, unattractive and boring. Every day hours spent in traffic jam, there's only one bridge to the mainland in Trogir! Dirty, smelly (bathroom!) place with lazy and chaotic service (more than 4 persons during breakfast made them I-do-not-know-what-to-do-now!)! The building is old, old -furnished, dirty windows, no air conditioning. No easy access parking, as villa is down the very steep hill. And they have a dog on a short chain under the tree, no matter the weather! The owners do not care and react with laughing when questioned about it. The worst place we've ever been!
Very relaxed and welcoming staff, we arrived quite late from Split airport and they provided a wonderful meal at 11pm. The view is amazing, good sized rooms and balcony, lots of character. It's a little far from Split airport for an overnight stay.
the sea view same breakfast every day
It's right above the sea! The conditions are not what it's advertised. The room lacked a window! Mosquitos came from there. The access is terrible (cars cannot go there and you must transport luggage through stairs). The breakfast was lousy. The fax was not working so we had to wait a couple of hours for our room.
