Overall a good stay. No big complaints, except maybe the distance from any attractions.
Convenient to Blues hockey. Shuttle available or walkable if you don't mind eight or ten blocks. Nice rooms, hot breakfast and pet friendly with some reasonable rules. Close to nice dining and pubs. Bed was a little firm for me but I admit I like them softer than most folks do.
Pool was small, crowded and a little dirty - we didn't get to use it. Otherwise the location and staff were great!!

Desk staff took quite awhile finding a replacement room for 2nd and 3rd nights, but that room was more to my liking. A big gripe is lack of counter space in the bathroom and awful bathroom lighting. Manager and breakfast servers were friendly and efficient.

the Manager in the lobby area talking with the guests was a comforting touch. he was making sure the stay was good and asking about our trip, why when etc... N/A. the only thing i did not care for was our room was next to the elevator sooo first thing in the morning you could hear it for some time, other than that facility was very good.
The actual hotel room is great! The staff did a poor job of providing customer service. The room card didn't work no one explained that you had to go to the 8th floor then get off and find another set of elevators to get to your room. It was loud The casino makes everything smell like smoke and whatever they use to try and mask the smoke.
Great value with free parking, breakfast, and happy hour. Staff was courteous and friendly. Easy walk to Scottrade Center. Enjoyed dinner at Lombardo's too. Would stay here again. Staff apologized for construction but it was quiet over the weekend and didn't bother us at all. (Was told construction would end March 2016.) Room was on the small side but comfortable.

Free parking, decent wifi. No window in the room. Poor bathroom design (couldn't open the door if someone was at the sink). 1 elevator and it takes forever to get anywhere. The location feels a little creepy if you are walking back at night.
Free covered parking, good breakfast, clean rooms. Generally just good amenities. The free evening food and drinks ends at 7 and we just missed it. This was obviously our own fault for not arriving on time, but it's still a little disappointing that the free drinks don't run as late as they do at most other hotels. The hotel staff accidentally told us the wrong room number, so we were trying to see if any of our keys worked when someone answered the door! Not a big deal, just a bit of a shock.
We were staying at the STL Union Station Drury for Pride weekend. The staff are always kind, helpful and attentive to your needs. Having the complementary breakfast and the "5:30 Kickback" is great as well. It was walking distance from all that we wanted to see and do on this weekend. Loved the stay, will do it again! We had a third person with us and opted for the roll away bed. The first one we received had a bug in it.Once notified, the staff quickly replaced it but the mattress on the second bed left a lot to be desired. Very flat and uncomfortable.

All the extras- breakfast, fastbreak, drinks. My car battery was dead upon check out, I told the very hospitable woman at the check out counter and within 5 minutes the maintanence guy was there and had my car started for me, free of charge! the bed was very uncomfortable!

The free hot breakfast was amazing and the hot meal in the evening was good also. They give you a drink ticket for 3 free alcoholic drinks per night with the hot dinner. Went for a weekend stay to watch a football game. It's across the street from the stadium. They had a nice breakfast as well as a pleasant evening snack gathering which could be a low key dinner as well. The staff was quite helpful with suggestions and nicely accommodated my need for extended parking until after the game. Everything on this trip went right, and the room itself was a pleasure. Can't think of anything.

The best part of this stay was after we checked out and left the parking lot. Most everything. Pool area and Sauna was filthy. Sauna did not work and temp did not get above 100 degrees. Service person at pool was rude. Bathroom had dirt and mold built up in the corners. Must moldy odor in room. This place definitely did not live up to the advertising and hype. Was a place for gamblers to lay their heads for a few hours before going back to the tables and games. Not much more than this.

easy access to casino. The room furniture looked like it was from the 1990's when the hotel was Embassy suites. The water pipes rattled loudly in the room especially in the morns with people bathing in other rooms. The desk/dresser combo was way too high for the non rolling chair they had for it. It put my laptop almost to shoulder level. The lighting in the bathroom was practically non-existent. I think it consisted of 2 20 watt bulbs. Absolutely no light in shower. The ground floor to roof open atrium looks beautiful but makes a natural echo amplifier chamber which even closing all doors in room didn't help lower the noise when they had an event especially with a live band.
The price was ok and the stay was peaceful once we got to our room. This hotel should have been called a Motel. Entirely too much going on in this hotel. Overall the hotel seemed to be dated... Old looking carpet throughout and furniture made this place look equvilant to motel 6. The only way i'd come back is if i would cheat on my wife. Being that it will never happen means this was my first and last time.
The location was convenient for local attractions. The room we stayed in was newly renovated and very clean. It would've been nice to be able to go to the lobby of the hotel and get breakfast and a good cup of coffee without having to go to over to the casino.
Will be nice when remodeled. They had a hidden $10 fee. I could have stayed in the middle of downtown for same price at a very least the same quality room, but from what I found out, nicer.
The location was good. I was able to hop right on the metrolink and 3 stops later I was at the stadium. There are only 4 bars left on the landing so it's not what it used to be. The staff was particularly rude during check in. if you need extra bedding or towels you have to go to the front desk to get it. They now charge a $10 resort fee which is ridiculous because that hotel is far from any kind of resort. 20 minute wait for the elevator. There are only two outlets in the bedroom you can use. One outlet by the bed. You have to unplug the lamp if more than one person wants to charge their phone at night. Which makes it a little dangerous to walk because the fattest light is across the room. Non-smoking rooms/floors completely smell like smoke. I wish I would've stayed somewhere else,

It was one of the lower priced hotels in downtown and I like Laclede's Landing. The staff was friendly at checkin. There is at least a second door between the living area and room so the noise from drunk people in the halls is reduced. The room is dirty, there are stains on the floor and furniture. There are no power outlets anywhere and the Wifi is so bad I had to tether my phone just to check emails, so doing any work is impossible. Much better places to stay for the price, despite its neat location on cobblestone streets by the water, which is unfortunate.

Close to baseball field You have no control over the room temperature (our room was 75 and muggy the entire time and it was 100 outside). The bathroom was so terribly lit that it was hard to see in the shower and also the shower head was incredibly small. There were numerous stains on the floor in the room and the hallway.

Our room was small but comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was great--we overlooked Busch Stadium. The location was also perfect for walking around downtown St. Louis. For a really spectacular view, head to 360, but be forewarned, you can't get there without the assistance of staff. We tried and wandered aimlessly. We did not utilize the gym or pool, but they looked nice. The shower was awful. When going away for whatever reason or for however long, it is imperative to have a decent shower. Our hotel shower had low pressure, a weak stream, and we didn't feel clean afterwards. When we got home, the first thing we did was take a nice hot shower. r The hotel seems to have updated everything but the rooms. The Market Bistro was very pleasant; all staff was more than friendly and accommodating. There wasn't a bartender behind the lobby bar, so we couldn't just grab a quick drink there; we'd have to go into the Market Bistro. Also, if you need anything such as deodorant, a toothbrush, or a nail clipper, you won't be able to get these in the gift shop. Slim pickings down there. We left for all of our meals, cocktails, and any forgotten items.

Elevators are horrible in the east tower 1 is only used for the bar on the roof..it took us 20 minutes to get an elevator from our room on the 9th floor to the lobby because the elevators available to guests staying at the hotelweree full everytime
Convenient, nice parking arrangement (not too pricey for the city), restaurant/bar at the top of the hotel was very good! The elevators, though usually efficient, were occasionally slow. It was also a bit difficult to regulate the temperature of the room.
So close to everything downtown, but the hotel is also very nice--they are not trading a nice place to stay for just the location. And the place was very popular, people enjoying the lobby and going up to rooftop bar, even though the Cardinals were out of town.
The proximity to the Arch & Ballpark was great as well as the other downtown spots. Never really felt like we needed a taxi except when we went to the Budweiser Brewery. The welcome desk & concierge staff were very friendly & informative. The only cons I have about this hotels is the elevator w/ the keypads were always backed up, there is no free wi-fi, & the rooms didn't have a fridge. Other than that the hotel was nice.

Room 1230 has a wonderful view of Busch stadium. Terrible pillows. The staff had issues with our reservation. They had a notation in computer to charge the room to an AmEX. We don't have an AmEX. The room was overpriced.

While the hotel is clean and beautiful, what really stood out to us was how incredibly friendly and accomidating the staff was. We've never experienced such genuine hospitality before. This will definitely be our "go-to" hotel when we're in St. Louis. Zero complaints. Everything was completely up to par. Proce was fair. We could not find fault.

The location is good if you need to be near the conference center. The room was very small. Our view was a brick building. We didn't have enough towels. The front desk staff was indifferent about our requests. Parking is pricey. The restaurant was awful.

Room was comfortable relative to other business hotels and comparable to any Hilton I have stayed at. Location was described as being within walking distance of public transportation, which is not accurate. Room service order was delivered with missing items, and I was charged for them. Despite apologies from the front desk personnel and a promise that additional charges would be removed for undelivered items, nothing was changed. I asked again at checkout, but when I got the bill on my bank card it was the same. Prices for room service were typically outrageous so that just added to the issue.

Clean nice place. A very friendly staff, though we only dealt with them twice. They found me a box fan :) Great shower. Had an incidentals list so you may borrow or keep items you forgot. Loved getting such a late checkout. Never heard a noise there. I really liked it and will return. Expensive parking. A/c wasn't as cold as I'd have liked though comfortable. Our view was 1/2 of the bridge but also 1/2 a partial roof covering. Was easier to view the roof half.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Walking distance from almost everything from the scottrade center, busch stadium, bar scenes, arch, etc. The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful especially the concierge and parking garage men. We wanted to stay an extra night and the room wasnt available but we did not have prior reservations. There were other events going on in the area as well. This is not the hotels fault we just loved it there so much that we wanted to stay again!!

My favorite part about the trip was that it was a very nice hotel that was close to the things that I wanted to enjoy. When I arrived on the 4th, I casually walked over to the Gateway Arch for a beautiful view of the city. The next morning I went to 8th and Pine (which was only four blocks away) to ride the MetroLink to the beautiful zoo. After a quick change at the Forest Park stop, I rode the bus a few minutes to the zoo. BTW the zoo is free but I recommend the Adventure Pass so that you can see and do all the extras at the zoo. Next, I got lost. Not St. Louis's or the hotel's fault, but I thought I would mention that you do not get on the bus back to Forest Park terminal at the same place as you were let off. Go across the road, and it will save you an hour tour of the neighborhoods of St. Louis. That night I walked 7 blocks to Busch Stadium to watch a Cardinals game. As you can see I was able to walk to several highlights of St. Louis. The next morning after I checked out, I took a short drive to Anheuser-Busch for the Budweiser tour. I took the Day tour for $10 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the Hyatt Regency made all of this possible. The room overlooked the Arch and the bed was yummy. The only thing that I can think of that I didn't much care for is that most of the stuff in the store wasn't marked, so since my normally $1.49 cheese crackers, cost over $5 I didn't know that until I got to the checkout. I felt bad for the guy who had three cokes and two bags of chips that costs well over $20.

When I pay as much for a hotel room as I did at this place, I expect parking to be included, or at the very least for it to be reasonably priced. Instead, this hotel expects you to pay $26 a night for parking!! That is a rip off for a midsized Midwestern city. We ended up parking a block away in public parking and walking back to the hotel. The fact that they charge $26 a night for parking!!!!!
Bed was very comfortable. Location convenient to Arch and ball park. Water was scalding in sink and shower. Sink had two choices, scalding hot or cold and there was no pressure. Shower was adequate but not great. Only needed tv for 5-10 minutes for news update and sport highlights. Remote did not work well. Very frustrating for what should have been a simple task. Have stayed in better rooms for half the price but not downtown in a large city therefore, the price is strictly for the location and the brand.

The location was superb for being near the arch. The staff was excellent and changed my room for the second night to the top so I could see the arch, it was awesome! Room 500 "with an arch view". It was the back wall of the pool building!

The staff was great, and extremely friendly. Children loved the complementary hot chocolate. I would stay here again. For a family, the room could use more drawer space. We did not use the pool or spa, because it did not appear very clean, and had a very strong chlorine smell.

We loved thw beds! We just wanted to slunber. Loved the spa bathroom. LIked having a robe. Good food. Nice tv. Spacious room! We felt special. This was a staycation for me and my senior mom. She enjoyed herself immensely. There was a high pitched humming noise, like from something mechanical, coming from outside the room. It wasn't too loud, but you could hear it. I don't know if it was the hotel itself, or noise from the street. We were on a higher floor as well.

The staff were great and very helpful. The hotel itself was terrible. The tv's did not work properly, the lamp was coming apart, the original room I was offered was dark and uncomfortable, the thermostats were not working properly, the window chade Many things did not work properly as stated above.

The hotel was very clean, the decor was modern, the hotelier was quite nice. The temperature was hard to modulate in the room and the pillows were horribly uncomfortable.

We had problems. Motel employees to park our CAR. For $8.00 more 't they would park the car and get it when we needed. Little did we know we couldn't trust the employees. I had dollar bills and change in the console of the car. When we got the car. the dollar bills were gone I don't know how much of the change was missing. So I was very disappointed with the employees to STEAL. So who every stole the money hurt the other employees. Because I did not tip the ones who got the car. SO DISAPPOINTED

The location was great, it is downtown close to the arch and restaurants. The rooms are very dated. We paid $281 for one night in a suite and it was not worth it. Did not seem clean and the hallways smelled like weed.

Proximity to Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village was great. We were able to use the conference room to print our tickets to the game as well. Very convenient. Centralized AC was the only downfall. We could not control our own temperature, but we were only in the room for sleeping and it was cool out, so it was mostly a non-issue.
The hotel did have a nice bar and the roof top pool had an amazing view of the city. We were in walking distance to just about everywhere we needed to be. When we arrived in our room the air was out and we had only a box fan and one of the beds had a large gross stain on the sheets. After numerous calls we finally got the beds changed out. They did not fix the air but closed our drapes saying keeping the sun out would help. After more calls about the air and finding what looked to be blood on a "clean" towel we were given $30 hotel credit and free parking. Would stay elsewhere.

We booked this hotel bc we thought this location had an idoor pool for our young children however this locarion dis not have an indoor pool so we had to cancel this reservation and find a different hotel due to the fact that we had already promised the kids they would be able to swim!
Can't beat the location. Facility is outdated, but clean. If you're in town to see a game or the Arch, it's a perfectly adequate hotel. Plus, it's a bit cheaper than the other name hotels in the same area. If you're a business traveler who does spend a great deal of time in the hotel, you may want to consider another property with more business amenities.

Clean room, friendly staff and great view. Booked early and got a great rate. Very close to everything you'd want to do in downtown St. Louis. About a half block walking distance to Busch Stadium. Recommend dinner at the Itallian restaurant across the street at the Hyatt. I would not say it's fair to pay too much more for this hotel. It is clean and has some updates, but can use a lot more updating or at least touch ups.
When our room was late they comped us on food items in the restaurant.
Everything was very good except checkout. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes before two customers in the only two lines were helped and the line began to move. I had no issues to resolve, there should have been someone else that was called up to help or an express line for people checking out.
The staff were all very friendly, if not terribly helpful. Room was *filthy*. Walls were dirty, carpet was horrifying, and the bedspreads were filthy. They didn't even cover the bedspreads with fresh sheets. Sofa and chairs were so gross we were didn't want to sit on them. We were surprised to find out at the last minute that there was: -no microwave (They offered to bring us a microwave for a fee of $20/day. What?!) -no complimentary parking (We chose a hotel downtown in part to save on parking!!) -no complimentary breakfast So the value of a "discounted" room went out the window.
Good security for the better part. The room was dirty. I found food on the floor. Staff at front desk was fair. A woman followed me into the bathroom that I had to unlock. Strange certainly not a guest. Do not know how she got into the hotel.
Check in and out was smooth, room was comfortable, on site parking, good proximity to Busch Stadium and Scottrade Center. Wi-fi wasn't free, TV wasn't easily seen from the far side of the bed. Needed better parking signage from the street.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was treated with the up most respect and they took care of me quickly. The room was amazing. I loved the indoor pool and it was in the center of downtown where I was able to experience the night life of the STL and the dining. So grateful I was accommodated when I book my stay so last minute and the price for the experience was the best part.

There wasn't too many food options right near the hotel, we ended up taking a taxi to the downtown area for most of our trip.
The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions. My stay exceeded my expectations overall.
The room smelled like smoke and were dirty
The pillows were nice. The front desk staff was pleasant The carpets were dirty, the furniture was old, and the hotel needs a thorough cleaning and updating. The tub bottom was dirty, as well
I should say, having been born and raised in St. Louis, and having participated in the Theater Project Company's youth theater program before the renovations, I am partial to Union Station. The hotel was renovated lovingly, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, pleasant and helpful. The prices for the room and accommodations were reasonable. And the grand ballroom is something to behold (there's a laser light show every hour in the evenings that is a lot of fun).

The Grand Hall Light Show was Spectacular. The buildings history was posted on plaques in various places that was interesting. The building as whole was restored beautifully. Clean room and friendly front desk clerks. The walk to the Ball Park was fine for a couple but was a little far with younger children, although there is city transportation available. Kids loved the pond with fish to feed and the paddle boats, all in all we would book here again. Having to pay $20 to park a night, and had we not be Hilton Honors Reward members we would've had to pay for breakfast as well. The layout was a little off, with the rooms a distance from the lobby. There was a wedding two of the three nights and everything was blocked off made it inconvenient and missed the light show. Very few shops in the shopping center.
Absolutely fantastic experience! The historic building of the hotel was wonderful. Service superb and friendly. They were great at accommodating out big dog and we loved the pet playground, only wish it had been fences on the open side. We will definitely stay here again when in St. Louis!
Large room for the price Hard to find your way around. Staff was less than helpful.

It's definitely worth the extra money. (It seems expensive, but a lot of hotels in downtown areas charge money for parking....)
The staff was very friendly from check in to the moment we left. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and we loved the historic aspect of it. The hotel is conveniently located near the ballpark, the arch, and other great must see attractions. Breakfast buffet was good. The options for food weren't spectacular but it it was okay. There were weddings two of the nights we were there so the bar and Grand restaurant in the lobby weren't accessible. Mall was a little disappointing but again, nothing that would detract us from returning.
Staff was outstanding not having enough money to stay longer
The historical structure, staff, greeting and planetarium style show on the historic roof of the train station made the stay unique in every way. The property is undergoing construction, which meant some walking to get to the room with our luggage but it was worth it to walk in and around the old train yard and see one of the countries most amazing stations!
The decor and continued renovation to the old station is good. Awesome lobby, rooms clean, plenty to do around the complex. One night wasn't enough. As recommended, use valet parking for both security and convenience. Lobby staff are a bit robotic. Could use some sprucing up in the way of personality and interpersonal skills.
Employees was amazing and so was the room. Parking should've been free and guest needs a map of the hotel
