Room was cleaner than expected and the King size bed was about as comfy as it gets! Staff was personable and helpful, Super old elevators
Location and bed Wait to check in
I wish I could come up with something nice to say about this place, but there really isn't anything nice about it. A mediocre hotel. The view was okay. Mildew in grout on tub. Furniture in ratty condition. Room smelled musty/old. Tub drain clogged. Towels thread bare and had burnt linen smell. Elevator to garage was old and dirty.
Location. Cleanliness. Comfortable bedding. Found room very quiet even being next to a young family. Easy and efficient air conditioning. Overall a good place to stay. Did not make up room second day during my stay. Returned to room late afternoon to find no clean towels when we wanted to shower. Front desk said they were behind on laundry and they would run towels up as soon as they could. It was not long after that towels arrived, but to be 5pm and not have made up rooms with fresh towels falls below expectation. Shortly after towels arrived, we were asked if we wanted room service. Late in the evening to be offering, but at least they were checking still.
We regularly stay at Hampton's so are very familiar with them. This one was perfect for visiting the Rock Hall and Progressive Field. Everything was expected for a typical Hampton Inn. The breakfast was probably the worst part. They didn't seem to keep the food stocked up so there was scraps left both mornings that we ate there. Our room only had 2 towels, which I found strange, usually there are 4. I had to ask for a 3rd for the 2nd morning. We didn't bother having maid service because they didn't show up until 3pm and by that time we had been out and back and were relaxing for a bit. Valet parking was good but it does cost $20 per night.
Very friendly staff, clean
The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ice only on even floors
Great room - good breakfast, although when we were there, so was everyone else. The staff had trouble keeping up with the crowd. I like a firm mattress - it was ot
The cleanliness of the entire hotel as well as my room. Breakfast was a plus! The frown on the front desk lady, she wasn't nice at all. The night one
It was a nice place close to where I need to be cost of room was good also was the breakfast Wish the room had a frig to keep the food I got at the West side market cold. That's the only that was missing
nicely appointed rooms, clean, fairly comfortable. Located within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions and close to the lake. Staff was a bit harried, not helpful when it came to directions. The 90 East is closed right now, making it a challenge to get in and out of there with GPS. Difficult but not impossible. Staff did not seem to know about this and were not a good source of information for alternative directions.
Close to rock hall and bars No room service and breakfast buffet was inadequate for the number of guests, they ran out of food and the wait was ridiculous
Great location. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room. No easy access to evening meals. Price of daily parking.
Location very good close to everything that walking distance ? very nice hotel the stay in and the breakfast are very good ,I will stay here again when I come back in Ohio.best place to stay in Cleveland.
Nice, clean, and great location. Breakfast was average, but enough for the price of the hotel. Can't beat the walk to HOB for concerts and short drive to Ohio City. Though I don't like Valet parking for cost and convenience, they did do a good quick job getting my car consistently. Valet parking only, which was misleading and costly. Put into an ADA accessible room for no reason, with horrible pillows and a shower far too short for me. ASKED FOR A QUIET ROOM. Put me across from the elevators, ice machine, staff lounge, and maintenance room in a handicap room for no reason, when a better room was available at the end of the hall. We stayed in the better room the second night only because I tweeted my dissatisfaction and the PR department called to make sure I was changed.
The underground parking garage. I have a large vehicle and should not have been directed down there. the outdoor lot would have been more appropriate.
Lots of construction next door which provided lots of loud noise. Very hard to sleep and relax.
Aside from some issues with the shower, the hotel was fine
Paid for a king bed and they only had a queen. Not impressed. Also the room wasn't ready when we went to check in at 330 pm.
Downtown and near restaurants. On a fairly upgraded and police monitored street Dirty, small, very schetchy parking area
In downtown area, breakfast was good 1-Bathroom not isolated 2-coffee maker was inside the bathroom I had to reposition it out 3-no swimming pool.
Too much noice during the night (garbage trucks and all sort of other city noices).Reception area and elevators need a good clean up.
Close to Progressive Field, Rates were resonable, Staff was curtious. Room didn't have a refridgerator or microwave
the staff was very rude, and didn't believe me when I explained that someone was staying in my room after I checked in. I had to wait for a while until they could get another room ready for my fiancee and I. There was also a lot of illegal activity going on with people asking for and selling drugs out front and what seemed to be prostitutes using this facilitate. If you have kids diffidently avoid this place at all coasts.
Yous havent restaurant, very expensives I think will better around 50 dollar per night. I service botton is worse. Your havent boottons.
Very close to the event we were attending. I did not like the Subway that was right below the hotel. Our room was right above it, and smelled AWFUL!
The room was very comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was good. Staff was also very pleasant and great view from our room. I didn't like that it didn't have a pool.
Liked the location next to Progressive Field. Older Hotel, but was kept clean and easy to get to. Parking in the back. Only 1 choice for breakfast, all you can eat for about $12. Tried to get a drink at the bar after an Indians gamed on a Sat. night, only 1 person working the bar and no waitresses. The bar was mostly full, but we sat at a table. Asked for a wine list at the bar after being ignored waiting to order a drink. " Didn't have one and the wines are right there", pointing to a shelf in the back. Of course we left. She wasn't getting our business there. Another couple left without getting a drink before us too. The bed was soft and lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft. I'll stay somewhere else next time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a very nice size and had everything we needed. Parking fees were understandable considering the location. Beds were comfortable. There was no fan in the bathroom. Not a huge deal but hard to get ready when everything is fogged up and you can't open the door cause the others in your room are sleeping! Could also hear the people in the next room coughing up a lung through the bathroom vent...not a pleasant sound first thing in the morning but obviously not the hotels fault!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Had to walk through lobby to get to pool.
Location Very strong air freshener in the room, almost to the point of overwhelming.
Complimentary refreshments in the lobby. Great cookies, coffee, tea and water. After walking around the city its wonderful to be able to grab a quick bite and drink upon entering the hotel without having to dig for $. Staff was friendly and more than willing to help. Pool and spa were also great. Lobby couches were worn out, hotel shuttle was limited.
The staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. All questions were answered above expectation. Room was outdated. City side drapes did not close, let in lots of light at night. Overpriced for expectation, but not for location.
The location was great, just a short walk to Quicken Loans Arena. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Very comfortable beds. Parking was expensive and should have been included. We had dinner in the hotels restaurant and the food was good but the seating was too close to the doors, we were freezing the whole time.
Great location, great people, and great shuttle service. Parking lot should have been compt.
Location was perfect Had no dislikes
Location to Progressive Field and downtown area. Staff was very nice and helpful
The location opposite Progressive Field was superb. I went there to watch the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Apart from that the room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was great too. It's a pity that my stay was so short, but Cleveland is a nice city, and I was impressed with the whole place. Can't think of anything I didn't like.
The manager on duty was accommodating and kept her cool in the midst of the problem. The room was comfortable. They oversold themselves, even though I only made the reservation on the way from the airport. Took a long time to sort it out. I did eventually get a good room that was comped.
The cost of valet. Also mark from valet insisted I had to pay him separately before he would run to get my car.
Comfortable bed and room. Decently clean. Breakfast "buffet" was never replenished when food ran out. Never any plates or silverwear. For $15 a person I should be able to get as much food as I want. I was seated by the employee hangout hole in the dining room where I had the pleasure of listening to them complain about customers. Staff needs fired. Also checking out was a joke. They claimed they had no record of us being in that room rather someone else by a different name. Hire some employees with brains and manners.
This location was chosen for it'so proximity to FirstEnergy Stadium, but it also has a multitude of shops and restaurants very close by. Lack of a greeting by hotel staff.
Everybody that worked there was very nice. The front desk helped me immediately. Very nice place to stay. If I ever come back to Cleveland, this will be my first choice to stay Nothing. everything was great!
Stayed two nights in July 2013. Very clean rooms. Accessible location. Tower City mall is at connected and you don't have to go outside to get to the Horseshoe casino. Nice facility and the staff was very warm and friendly. Will make this my Cleveland hotel of choice when I am in town. I've stayed in major hotels across the USA for many years and this is at the top of my list for excellence. You get what you pay for.
Our room was the cheapest, on the 8th floor, sounds high but the lobby is on the 6th and the 7th is meeting rooms and lounge / restaurant. We could hear lounge music at night while in the bathroom / tub but it wasn't terrible in the sleeping area. What impressed me most is that our room already had the crib set up - a real crib (small size but not a pack-n-play) and they had included for the first night anyway baby shampoo and outlet covers - it was so thoughtful. She loved walking to and fro around the room and looking out the window at the cars below. There was a mini bar but I would have preferred just a standard mini fridge so that we could keep our water and apple juice cool without worrying about my daughter getting into the alcohol. The valets were very nice if a bit pushy - we ended up street parking because our car is not very expensive and Cleveland parking is free on weekends rather than pay $*each time we come or go from the hotel. The hotel provides a map to go jogging and...
It was very clean abd the staff were very friendly.
Our check-in was fine. Upon arrival to the room it was uneventful which is less than what I would expect from the Ritz. My wife and I live just outside of Cleveland and I wanted to pamper her with an impeccable stay at the Ritz and all the ammenities and services which are to accompany a stay at the Ritz. Upon returning to our room, we opened the refrigerator to poor a Grey Goose mixed drink only to find that the seemingly sealed bottle was previously consumed and filled with water. After calling room service, rather than a sentiment of surprise and apology, found this to be routine and simply offered a replacement. For starters, I am amazed that anyone would do this. I am also concerned of the source of the replacement water. I cringe when I think that at the Ritz, I consumed an unknown substance which could have been toilet water for all I know. After 30 minutes, there was no promised call from the server and no replacement bottles of Grey Goose. I called again and he assured me I wo...
The Arcade is a beautiful Hotel. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable about their facility and surrounding amenities. Centrally located, making everything you want to do in walking distance. First stay was perfect. Great room, extremely comfortable bed, and perfect view of 4th St., cannot complain. Second stay....room was dated, carpet appeared to have water damage, bed was old with ruts and was extremely stiff. Called to ask possibly change rooms and were shot down. I understand hotels fill up fast, especially during big events in downtown Cleveland. However, don't ask me my room preference through email four months in advance and again at the front desk when your going to ignore or know you have no intentions of accommodating a single preference. Just be honest and up front about availability.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Dirty, dirty, dirty...stained carpets, broken tiles, torn upholstery on furniture, moldy shower curtain - GROSS!
There was a lovely gentleman working the front desk who was able to let us check in early. It was a huge help to us considering we had been traveling for over 10 hours with no sleep. The room was very nice; my only complaint would be that there are no fridges available in the rooms.
We had a good time. Great view, such a comfortable bed! The additional 30.00 for one night parking.
Nice atmosphere. Great location in town.
clean, friendly staff, nice central location had to pay to park, was requested to put a 100 hold on my card at check in, they did drop it to 50, but all the website said was a card would have to be on file, nothing about a hold. The shops inside were all abandoned. Only a few open. $4 water offered in room. no fridge
The hotel itself has a super cool environment and the building is spectacular... until you go in the room. This was our second attempt at The Arcade and both times we have requested a bath tub and paid an uncharge for a room with a view. Both times the view that we upgraded to was a concrete wall 6 feet from the window. They moved us to a room with an actual view this time at least, but the room was just cleanish and had no bath. We actually think that this may be the room where employees take breaks as the table had pretty clearly had drinks on it not long before we arrived and the TV was on. If they charged $100 or even $150 for rooms here, it would be fine. In fact, it would be good. For $360 a night though, we were really expecting something more than a few steps above a Holiday Inn.
Beds were perfect. Very comfortable. Pillows were spot on. That is only thing was nice to say about my whole stay. Room was dirty, hair in tub and in the sink. Also smelled funny. Not sure where it was coming from. Parking was very close. My van had door dings. The room size was so small a king size bed was just as big as the room. This place was NOT worh the money.
Staff was super friendly.
Location,staff Very small room
Staff friendly n professional, elevator wouldnt take us to 12th floor only to 10th floor had to take steps up too room to unload bags. Had to go to front desk and ask why elevator would take us up to correct floor. Also drinks at bar for two beers 12 dollars pricy, and heard motors running outside room all night
Comfortable and easy
Had booked this room months in advance. Called the week of our stay to confirm our reservation and notify them we would be a late check in. At check in they no longer had a room for us, and sent us to another hotel nearby where we were given a king bed for multiple people. The room was really expensive, and we ended up getting something less than satisfactory.
Just very expensive for less than 24 hours in the hotel and it cost me over $300 for the room and the valet parking was $25 per day which totaled $50, to park my car for 27 hours. Arrived at 11:30 am left the next day at 2:30 pm.
Close proximity to every major item in downtown Cleveland. Easy walk to the Browns stadium. This Sunday morning breakfast buffet continue to run out of food. You would be waiting in line and get up where the food is and trays would all be empty
Check in and check out were fast. Everything was clean. They make staying there hassle free.
We spoke to 3 different people on the phone and they were all rude and unhelpful to the point that we cancelled our stay and stayed at the doubletree where EVERYONE we spoke with was helpful and the request for double beds specifically which was the simple request we had was met with a no problem and see you soon. The 3 Marriott women were very rude and said it wasn't their job. Stay at the Doubletree they are friendly and give you delicious cookies!!!
The location was the best part Compared to other hotels that I have started at I felt like I didn't get my full value out of it. It was the little things that weren't available like a little fridge, a DVD player. The AC didn't work very well if at all. Even at 60 degree I was still sweating.
The location was perfect for our use and the staff was very helpful. The room could have used a better cleaning. There were cobwebs in the corners and on the curtains.
Proximity to the Q - super easy walk across the street for a CAVs game with my 10 YO son.
Everyone was very friendly.
Staff for sure, location was clutch and breakfast, yeah I want to stay Swimming pool would have been the only thing
Good hotel that is located downtown. Different from normal hotel, a mix of old with new. The location is great, everything is within walking distance, Tower City, the Q, Progressive Field and numerous bars and restaurants. Rooms are newly updated and the hotel itself is under renovation. Try to request a room across the arcade, you get an interesting walk through the top of the arcade as you find your room. Great hotel, with a cool, architecture location. The staff was perfect as well; doing anything to help. Currently under construction, but they are updating so I'm sure it will look great once they are done.
No outlets in the rooms, dirty sheets Filthy dirty and outdated with a staff that doesn't communicate and is very unprofessional. However, the bar/restaurant that is connected to the hotel is awesome and the staff there was very friendly and accommodating.
Shower did not work, hotel did not smell good
I really liked that they had free parking and a fairy good breakfast. The building is very old and not so much clean. Also the air conditioner wasn't working really well in my room. I didn't like that they haven't had checked the room they were going to give to me because it was not cleaned and I had to change it with a room that was a bit worse furniture wise.

The staff was exceptional. The room was clean. The location was good and the area was quiet. For my tastes the bed was too soft. And I like to have a pool but there was none.

The location to the sites we wanted to see was perfect. We chose the hotel for its location Our bed was saggy and not very comfortable. The fan in the bathroom was loud and there was no way to turn it off. We were erroneously charged items on our bill and the front desk had no authority to correct the mistake.
location, atmosphere, very nice staff at front desk.
Employees were very nice, and extremely helpful. Mattress a little to soft
Great location for Case Western Reserve University visits. Nice staff, clean and efficient. Breakfast is ample and in a cute sunroom. They even have a make your own espresso machine. Just one negative, food can run low close to the end of the breakfast hour so don't go late.
The location is phenomenal - we walked everywhere we went, which included botanical gardens, the art museum Little Italy. There's plenty to do, eat, and drink all within walking distance. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a wedding outside which played loud music until 11pm. It didn't bother us at all but I'm sure if you had hopes of going to bed early that night it did not happen.
Small - more of an inn, but with some nice public areas on first floor (small bar, open until 11pm, with just a few seats.)
Very short answering to have some diner. Just a list no explanation. THey didn't want you to go out the hotel.
Helpful stuff The breakfast was not good
location of the hotel to the airport i was charged an extra night, so really charged an extra $80.00 what a rip off, people at the hotel still havent returned my calls for a refund!
Staff were available all the time. Location was good. Room was not clean. Had to change the room during the night we reached.
The vanity was outside the bathroom instead of trying to cram it into the bathroom The blankets didn't look as clean as they should have been
The price and location Was not very clean, someone else's hair on bathroom floor
The price The hotel is under reno. There are no signs outside. The updated room was done poorly and was dirty.
Nothing. Staff was rude when we arrived. They couldn't find our booking and then continued to be rude to the poor lady from booking.com who was trying to help us out.
Modern style hotel Hotel had no soap, iron. It was still under construction
People who worked there were nice , the room was beautiful , bed comfy The bathroom wasn't clean there was hair in the tub and floor also hotel was under construction , the hall ways and elevator were horribly hot and it was a bit of a walk , also a lot of the construction stuff could have been hidden way better or attest looked straightened up
I liked that they had a gym and business room.
All staff were helpful friendly and responsive
Location to the CLE airport I wanted to leave my vehicle for the duration of the flight and get a shuttle to the airport and was told that the program was unavailable and full. They didn't even ask what time my flight was and the parking lot was only half full.
Food wasn't great for how much we spent, and breakfast is super expensive for a family of 4. Especially, when I thought it was included in my stay from trip advisor.
Very friendly staff, nice comfy bed, good breakfast bar
Meticulously clean and quiet. Very friendly staff. Excellent airport shuttle service.
The staff was very attentive and breakfast was really terrific.
Title pretty much sums up out stay. We arrived late at night and was greatest with a friendly smile and directed to our roo . Room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was well maintained. No comments whatsoever. By the way, if you are worried about being so close to the airport...have no worries. We were on three uth floor and did not hear one plane fly over at al . Great stay. Thank you Hilton
comfortable room and beds That we had to pay extra for breakfast. We didn't want a $10.95 buffet just some coffee and a muffin or bagel. The bathroom door squeaked....hinges need to be oiled Room 435
The friendly staff
Convenient location, nice restaurant, friendly and professional staff. Noisy, expensive.
fitness facilites, nice staff and general ambiance.
The hotel was clean and comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant onsite was convenient.
Was very pleased with the hotel. We arrived early for check in and the morning manager was able to get us into our rooms ahead of schedule. The evening bar staff made it a joy to sit at the hotel bar for a cocktail and appetizers.
It was a 5 minute drive to my Aunts place who I was visiting. NO
The room was fantastic. Loved the Keurig machine! The bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower was a bit moldy. Could have used a little more TLC when being cleaned.
The staff was nice the breakfast buffet wasn't that great room was clean quite very peaceful

Perfect location. Very quiet, clean and safe. The outside garden patio was a beautiful relaxing place to sit and talk till late in the evening.
