The manger who was there during the day on the 16th was incredibly helpful, friendly and a sincere lady. She really made me come away with a very good impression of the hotel
just sleep and eat poor manu at breakfast
Helpful staff Location. Very far out of town with extremely poor transport links to city centre. This was not the impression I got from website!
The pool!!! And the staff is very nice!!
The clever combination of the restaurant.Breakfast part and lunch/dining part. Close to other shops etc. The sound of the elevator.Sounded like it needed maintenance.
The comfot and decor of my room. Close proximity to Boston. No transportation after 8:00 PM, although they advertised shuttle service until 9:00 PM
proximity to interstate poor choice of breakfast; room windows could not be opened
It was very nice to have a complimentary breakfast included in the price
The personel was very helpful in guiding us with our city tour. Easy in easy out to the highways and resonably priced for the comfort level it offers. I would say that the service at the restaurant could be fatser.
- when I checked out, I settled by a mean of payment different from the credit card used for reservation; I've had a problemon my credit card(double debit); the problem was solved by the intetvention of Booking - suggestion for who travels in group: the hotel, that is located at 18 km from the town, provides a shuttle that takes you to rhe train station in Woburn (it takes 20 mn by ttrain to go to town); bur, as the retutn train ti ket costs $12 per person, it' s betterto take the car and park iit near the Noeth Station
Friendly staff, clean and extremely comfortable room. This isn't the first time I've stayed here and certainly won't be my last! Nothing. Smooth sailing all around.
The room was very new, extremely clean and we would recommend staying here. It was a pleasure to find this hotel en route to our destination.
The King size bed was comfortable and room was somewhat clean just a few dust spots Your TV's need to be updated and also the bathrooms
Being woken up at 7am on Sunday by fire alarms telling us to exit the building. Don't even know what but went right back in. No apologies or information upon check out.
Room space Internet performance late, It is slow response.
Appreciated the indoor parking as it rained the whole time we were there and the room was very comfortable.
The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located near target and several decent restaurants. The pool that was advertised here, and on the site, was closed and there was no indication that this would be the case. I specifically chose the hotel for that reason. The hotel itself is one of those red neon-lighted places, and looks nothing like the picture. Very dingy and tired place. The water pressure in the showers was horrible, and the hot water lasted for a few minutes at best. The towels could use some serious fabric softener. The walls are extremely thin, so bring some ear plugs if you plan on getting any sleep at all. They charge you to use the safe, whether you use it or not, and you have to ask for the fee to be removed at the end of your stay.
Spacious, clean rooms. Would be nice to have a dry cleaning service available. And a short guide/map to breakfast locations around since the hotel offers none.
Although the pool is really small, but its really good to relax and for children, there are nothing nearby the hotel. Especially, I can not even buy something to eat at the night.
Friendly staff, comfortable room, great rate, great location (very close to downtown Boston). It was my second stay there, and it won't be the last, since I drive down to Boston every year to catch a baseball game. The air conditioning device was a bit loud.
convience Very limited kitchen utensils and dishes, No paper towels or any thing to clean up after cooking. One thing of dish powder, but if you use a dish, you must wait for dishwasher to finish to make side dish. This is cheap. I could have stayed at a marriot residence in almost same price with lots of everything
It was my first stay at an Extended Stay. I liked the room layout, furniture, and the extended stay kitchen. I would look to stay again. The breakfast was disappointing. It could be a little more robust. Hot food is not necessary, but dry cereal and, maybe, toast and fruit would be nice. The packaged products were poor quality.
I enjoyed the suite styled rooms over your typical hotel room. Very spacious and clean. The pool was a little dingy and there's only elevators on one side so if you're room is on the side of the parking lot you have to walk all the way to the other side, take the elevator and walk all the way back. Not the worst thing in the world except when you have heavy bags.
Fantastic staff, very friendly atmosphere, guests all very happy. Pool chairs should be available to sit on from the opposite side of the powered handicap access chair. You cannot see young children in the shallow area from the lounge chairs closest to the door. some chairs along the windows would be very helpful for parents who need to see how their child is doing in the pool.
Easy location to get into Boston without too much hassle. There aren't a lot of restaurants within walking diatance.I was very upset after trying to extend my stay over the phone.I talked with two employees that said contradictory things and were not at all helpful in resolving my request.poor service skills.
Clean hotel and literally right across the street from the Dave and Busters. I booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend so we didn't need to worry about drinking and driving and this hotel was perfect.

Rooms were very small.
Great location to both directions on 95 or 93 into Boston.
Location is very good, just off the highway. The outdoor pool was dirty.
there was a place to have breakfast open to eat before we left. No.
Parking was free. Internet worked. You know you are in trouble when the room temps is set to 63 degrees upon arrival. It stunk. Literally. I think I got the 'poochie' room for the dogs. Will avoid this location in the future.
Shower pressure was amazing! Staff was terrific, Most comfortable mattress I have slept on ever!!! Wish there was a hose attachment on the shower. A smoking room would have been preferred.
Location Starbuck is advertised as 24 hours. It's not. No fitted sheet on bed very uncomfortable. Room was tiny. No breakfast included as advertised. Staff was not caring. Crappy parking.
Weird entrance and desk setup. Not very welcoming. Seems really cramped when you walk in. 20 charge for incidentals that is taken off when you leave?? Never had that done before and not sure even legal? No hairdryer in room. No continental breakfast.....wouldn't stay again.
location convenient to Eastern Massachusetts Room size was tight

Good breakfast. Convenient location. Rooms a bit small.
Staff was very friendly, room was clean and updated. Free breakfast selection was very good. Bathroom was very small
Location, decor, condition of hotel, breakfast Air conditioning was not operating fully
The breakfast was good. We enjoyed it. The bathroom was extremely small....clean but small. Probably one of the smallest bathrooms we have ever been in.
Great location, right off the highway with lots of restaurants and a price you can't beat. Pool was nit a pool but rather a large hot tub.

The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was good. It seemed like the motel was newer or had been recently been redone. We had a great time!! The motel did not offer a courtesy van so we had to drive ourselves to the train station.
Good service. Friendly staff. Location was a little further than I expected from my destination.
Clean and wicked friendly staff. No

Did they move The Plaza in NYC to Woburn, MA???
Loved the overall cleanliness of the place, the comfort of the room and linens, the pool and the food/drinks at the sports bar was outstanding.
Hospitality, courteous, cleanliness, view, most of all the food was freshly made and very tasteful.
Tasha is awesome she is an asset to the Marriott not easy dealing with the public you can't please everyone she is professional the place 5 star in my point of view very clean the rooms fantastic bed TV food listen here's the deal I wish all hotels were like this one
Responsive, professional, friendly staff; top notch facility; convenient location; quiet and comfortable; good value. Breakfast not included.
The staff was outstanding and extremely helpful! Very friendly! Very comfortable bed, very clean.
Staff was very helpful. Was only there 1 night but was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. Kids enjoyed pool.
Good value; includes lovely buffet breakfast; parkingot across street. Staff was accommodating and friendly.
Good setup in general. Nice to have the pull out sofa separated from the main bed. We were on a college visit trip with our daughter and this worked out well. The room included a full size refrigerator as compared to many hotel "mini" versions. Bed was comfortable. Internet worked well in our room and TV had many stations to choose from (good size screen in both rooms). Having the kitchenette was great - had dishwasher, microwave, fridge, etc. I question that the queen bed was a standard queen (seemed smaller than our queen bed at home). Room description stated there was a DVD player in the room - there wasn't (didn't matter since we brought a portable). We had trouble with the room heater - did not work well when room thermostat was set to "auto" but did when set to "on." Room was very pricey but not really surprising considering the area (Cambridge MA) - most every hotel in the area was expensive.
The staff was extremely helpful.
The included breakfast and light dinner was very good. Room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. All rooms have only one bed. Any additional sleepers use a roll away or pull out couch, which was not very comfortable.
The breakfast was good
The general manager was awesome.
staff was friendly and helpful we should have been told AHEAD OF TIME about the construction! trouble finding registration, no room to maneuver in the parking area, crowded on the first floor.
Overall nice place to stay. Convenient location, short drive to the T to take into Boston, close to Salem as well. Clean and comfy, free breakfast was good! Would recommended highly, definitely will book again when headed to Boston. Only bad thing was a little bit of mold on top of shower, otherwise very clean and comfortable.
Very bad I book a room with two beds. they gave me a room with one full size bed for two. disabled room. dreadful feeling that gets to a hospital. The bed moved and very noise. Terrible experience. False adds.
Room was ok Horrible stay. Loud construction at 8am. Fire alarm went off. Ppl having sex very loud in room next door. Hallways were dirty.
The close proximity to the train station and Harvard Square, not to mention the cinemas and other shopping conveniences.
Size of bed and location old building, tattie in need of a lot of repairs (some most be essential!!)
This hotel is undergoing renovation. It needs it. The ac unit in our room was clearly old and beat up. There were holes in the halls where new cables are being or will be run. There were screw holes in the bathroom and an outline around them on the wallpaper of something that used to be mounted there, but isn't anymore. The water in the bathtub drained too slowly, it filled while we took a showe
The hotel did not live up to it's description. It was shabby not boutique-like. Just an old hotel with choice of soap. The location, while convenient, was your basic strip mall surrounded by more strip malls. The parking fee was to park your own car in an open parking lot. They did not tell you that parking spaces next door were free. All in all, pretty annoying
$12 parking fee. Outrageous for the location! The desk clerk did waive ours when I complained that we would be there for only 10 hours. The room price was rather high for the value.
Very friendly staff! Great pool and whirlpool area! Beautiful room. One of the best fitness rooms I have seen in any hotel I have stayed at!
Free shuttle bus to Harvard Square
Location The rooms are old, they smell like stale cigarettes, and the gym is poorly equipped. Only one treadmill.
Everything is within walking distance as I enjoyed a glorious autumn afternoon. I browsed endless rows of books at the Coop, watched rowers glide along the Charles River and ran stairs at Harvard Stadium while the football team engaged in a spirited practice. When I returned to the hotel, the room smelled great. They must have a special scent. I enjoyed the organic soap, shampoo and lotion that came with the room. Henrietta's Table is great for breakfast / brunch, and I highly recommend The Harvest for dinner. A very nice stay.
Best Hotel in Cambridge/ location is perfect
Location was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Excellent farm to table restaurant and bar. Although they had a parking garage, the elevator to the lobby was out of order so you had to take the stairs and the stairs lead to outside the front entrance. Very inconvenient if carrying any bags from the car and also because of sub-zero temps that weekend. Also no in and out access for self parking at $40 per night. If you leave you have to pay again.
The Charles is a perfect place to stay in Cambridge. It is well located, well designed with contemporary clean lines but still warm, and the Rialto is a fabulous restaurant in the hotel. We had a corner room which was quite spacious which we really appreciated as we were staying multiple nights.
Location was great with excellent service and nice trait ants around in the plaza
Great location near the center of Harvard Square. Rialto is an excellent restaurant. Regatta Bar is great if you like jazz. Hotel is in need of renovation. New England shabby-chic means it's just a basic hotel in terms of cleanliness and room amenities. Bathrooms are seriously dated and in need of complete redo. Service levels are mediocre. Business center is a joke (1 computer and an attached printer). Prices are very high: you are paying for the location.
One great thing about Harvard Square is the high energy and bustle, especially when school is in session. What makes The Charles so perfect is that it is a tranquil respite right on the edge of all the happenings.
The room was very drafty near the windows- lots of cold air coming in
Well decorated rooms. Convenient to Harvard square Officious front desk staff. Being told they couldn't change our departure and charges despite a family emergency because it was our fault we used a third party reservation service. Being told entirely dissimilar rooms were the same. Smelly comforter covered by clean sheets. No coffee maker in room. Ice available only on request from room service.
Excellent service and superior restaurant. Very friendly staff who facilitated the check in and out as well as the luggage. I was in and out many times with my 7 year old grandson and he was always greeting with a smile. My daughter belongs to your health club and so they are used to going to your hotel. Overall, a well located, efficient and very quiet hotel.
The Charles Hotel is centrally located in Cambridge, so it's very easy to get around the town. We walked wherever we needed to go and got there quickly and easily. The hotel has several dining options and an actual fitness club, not just a room with some cardio equipment and universal equipment. The wifi works well and the staff were all very helpful. It's pretty expensive to stay here, but we found a good deal on one of the discount hotel sites. I'd return in a heart beat.
The room was clean and nicely appointed, the service was prompt and attentive. The location is great.
I believe that, despite relatively high rate, it is excellenty value for money. Amenities and room in general showed great care for guests to feel comfortable and pampered, it has one of the greatest offering for kids I have seen in a hotel and its location is very convenient to reach all key areas around Boston.
Location and quality of the hotel. The front desk service was not very good and the valet service was terrible as I had to ask for my car three times and had to wait 35 minutes for it at a time when no one else was waiting for cars to be retrieved.
Excellent service, lovely room Bath room too small
great room, location drinks in bar were very expensive
Room Services, good people
nice hotel, they gave me a room with a fantastic view of the boston common and skyline not an issue with the hotel, just the location lacked some basic supporting retail like a drug store
Great location, comfortable,clean
The level of service was excellant. The location was great. The room and view was excellant as well
Sumptuous luxury, privacy, waterfront location, Old North End proximity 500 building felt removed from the hotel and lobby: more residential; try for east-facing room in the building facing the harbor. Difficult to get to due to traffic: allow extra time
Great service. I lost my credit card and the concierge was very helpful in getting that resolved. I had to wait 25 minutes for the valet to bring my car for pick up
Location and the staff
Good location. Very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom counter was nice. For the price and quality of hotel I was very disappointed. It was an extra $10 for wifi. The shower was subpar and the toilet had terrible pressure/flushing capabilities. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was delivered cold. There was nothing spectacular about the breakfast and it was $98 for two people.
This is the only hotel in downtown Medford. Walking distance to decent restaurants and coffee shop. Staff is friendly. Morning complimentary breakfast offerings are as expected, but prepared well. Facility is kept clean and tidy. Room is large and a family of 4 didn't trip over each other. Medford Square is always tricky driving. Entrance to hotel isn't well marked -- one must take a left at light before the hotel and then a right into the parking lot. Hotel room rug was stained and plug in sink didn't work correctly. If you are from out of town visiting Tufts, this may not be the best welcome to the area, especially if you are not a bold, risk-taking driver.
The breakfast doesn't taste very good lol
Friendly, if ineffectual, staff. I have stayed here several times before, but this year the place has really gone downhill. It was dirty and just looked tired. Uncleaned spills, floors not vacuumed, carts in the hall, wIndows that had lost their vacuum. Just not up to Hyatt standards. Perhaps the new manager can make a change, but this is a steep uphill climb. One more try or we are switching to the AC at Wellington Circle.
Room space was good Breakfast was poor Location was not great
Location was near where I had to do business.
We liked the location - close to the airport, Faneuil Hall and the Financial center and places of interest. The breakfast - only one available in the area - was expensive and not good. We were forced to go to one of the closest hotels in order to get a proper buffet breakfast.
Gabriel the concierge workers opening doors the cover of heating unit fell off and the filter was loaded with dust
Location. Comfort. Relaxed atmosphere for a city centre hotel. Breakfasts were rather expensive.
Friendly staff, close to airport, walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs in Boston's North End.
within walking distance of most everything and the balcony overlooking the area was great thought the carpet needed to be cleaned in the room and possibly replaced in the hallways
i loved how it was so close to the fanueil hall and it was an easy walk to most of the places, especially the freedom trail. it was also near the TD garden, so that was pretty awesome
The location of the hotel was perfect. No car needed as we were right next to all of the shopping of Fanuiel Hall. Also, the spa was right next door which just what we wanted for a girls weekend away. The parking to stay at this hotel was really pricey. So we parked at the T-station which was a lot cheaper, however it meant a short walk to the hotel with all of our luggage
Great location, very comfortable, most staff was very helpful. The best restaraunt we experienced in the downtown area. Their food was fantastic! The housekeeping schedule was a bit off - but fine in detail. Also, one of the staff members was not particularly helpful with walking directions.
high quality room, comfortable, clean, brilliant location n/a
Simple to find, not TOO far from Boston, though you'll need a car to go closer and take public transportation from a Park and ride parking lot - 5 $.Breakfast is not so ggod, but included, nice lobby, friendly staff The place, ugly, between highways
room were clean and spacious web site stated shuttle to airport!! No food in hotel in evening
spacy room, clean swimming pool unsufficient for swimming; transport to next subway quite a distance (but Hotel car can be used), view towards a highway/ cement factory
Corey at the front dest was extrememly personable and helpful. Great continental breakfast, comfortable beds. I'd stay here again if I needed to stay in the area again.
Breakfast, pretty clean and nice room. Not really. Just far from the city.
Beautiful hotel, incredibly friendly staff, old fashioned luxury with modern touches, amazing bed
Great service, great location, and a unique feel to the overall hotel.
Great location in center of city. Clean and well maintained. Unique and accentric feel. Thin walls, could hear everything going on in the hallway. Hard pillows, my neck and head hurt so bad in the morning. Tiny rooms.
We checked in, headed up to our room, and found a party going on in it. Upon reporting that to the front desk, they were completely confounded. They found another room (supposedly larger than the first) and gave us drink coupons for the inconvenience. No problem. The room was small. 6" between the end of the bed and the desk. But otherwise ok. So we headed down to the bar and ordered two dry martinis a tiny bit dirty. They were out of Stoli so the bartender gave us a premium Stoli. The drinks came back with so much olive brine that they were green. Not drinkable, so we decided to head out for dinner. Upon leaving the coupons we were told that they didn't apply to premium drinks. We suggested paying the difference (for undrinkable cocktails) and the bartender got an attitude and said "just forget it". Finally, upon leaving the next morning, the smallish elevator stopped on the next floor down and the housecleaner got on with her cart, a big garbage bag stuffed with laundry, and a huge gray garbage can on wheels. We were crammed into the back corner of the elevator with our bags. How strange!
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially Fred! I'm not too keen on the standup shower. Sometimes it's nice to soak in a tub while on vacay.
Location, beds and pillows very comfortable. Clean except for under sink and mold in shower. Room was extremely small, bairly ok for one person, VERY cramped for two.
Staff was fantastic!! Front desk, bartenders, valet...everyone! Super personable and accommodating! I will remember most by name. Room was "loft-like", super cozy unique. Short walking distance to the water, aquarium, good bars and restaurants! We would definitely stay here again!
I loved how nest and clean the room was. For two people the king bed room would be a bit crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful with each contact I had with them. . I enjoyed it immensely.. Only the size of the room. It would be tight for more than one person.
I loved the modern interior design and how friendly and helpful the staff was. My wife and I stayed at the Boxer for two nights for our mini-moon. We told the front desk staff that it was our honeymoon, and then about ten minutes later, a piece of red velvet cake and a bottle of champagne arrived at our door, completely on the house. We were very impressed. My only complaint is that the rooms in the pictures from the website looked bigger than our actual room.
We were very happy with our room and the mini bar had a great selection. The bathroom sliding door was very difficult to open and close.
Services was fantastic at this hotel. The room was ready right away, and my request for extra's in the room was honored. Ease of taxi service, and just across the street from the T and garden.
Fun and incredibly hospitable staff. Great location and walking distance to bars/restaurants. Comfortable and modern room. Will stay here again!
