Location is great Bathroom toilets are in a real tight space Beautiful location, excruciating walk
when we complained see the below we got upgarded to a lovely hotel. Except we had to stay one more night in Athina we were underneath the breakfast terrace and everytime someone moved a chair to sit down it would be noisy in our room. We were next to the pool and when the filters were turned on in the morning it had a loud humming noise in our room. The bed was very old and everytime one of us moved it was squeak. Because of the above it was not worth the price
The view was amazing! The staff was very helpful. The beds are uncomfortable.
Very good location, nice pool area and terraces, excellent staff, good with fridge in the room and the possibility to bring your own drinks outside. Rooms are more 3 star standard but the outdoor hotel area is very nice which compensate.
The personal service was wonderful. The fellow that works there even carried one of our bags up all the stairs to the street level...unexpected assistance that was greatly appreciated, thank you :)) The view was to die for and the sunsets were amazing. We had a great balcony and could even use the wifi outside!! One friendly suggestion - perhaps a longer shower curtain or higher shower surround to prevent water all over floor.
The views, the wonderful staff and the breakfast served on the balcony every morning . Great for couples None
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the Fira location was convenient. The hotel, an updated former mansion, was very charming. The view is not that spectacular since the hotel is not at the edge of the cliff and is surrounded by other buildings. I would have preferred a view that shows more of the sea and volcano.
The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. Wonderful and sweet location. Everything nice and clean. Site is located in the centre of Fira but still really quiet. A place to relax.
Central location, clean, nice staff and hotel.
Location, location, location... Curtains too thin, bathroom less lights, a/c behind the curtains, bed could have been bigger in size.
Aria Lito was a lovely place that provided the perfect atmosphere for our stay. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help.
This hotel was excellent! Great location, helpful staff and very relaxing by the pool. Most important to know are directions as website is not accurate and no pick up from airport or ferry offered. Walk up the pedestrian street (Main St) over the cobble stones and walk up the hill about 600m, walk past Hertz and turn left just after Sun Sand & Sports and you will see the hotel. There are no signs and most locals don't know where it is.
The staffs are very nice. we loved the environment. and it is close to the Fira center, just few walking time. lovely hotel!!!!
The staff are very professional and work hard to please their clients. We loved the proximity of the hotel to everything we wanted to see in downtown Fira, the suggestions made by Ana the manager, and the handling of the overbooking issue. For the question about the usefulness of the reviews, there are not any displayed yet.
Super place to stay in Fira. Location is fantastic and plenty of room. A quiet place in the centre of town. Htel staff go out of their way to make you feel special..
It was a quiet hotel, with friendly staff and generally good service. A perfect place to escape from the world. I had to ask for the bed linen to be changed on one day.
everything is perfect it is a little far from the bus station, but it is not far from the fira city center
the room is so so so beautiful and the host is quite kind person. the hotel is located in a very quiet place but just 15 minutes walk to Fira city center. it will be so wonderful to live in this hotel.
lovely place to stay Not easy to find the villas in the frist time
5 minutes far from centre of Fira, nice decoration!staff was very friendly and helpfull!
great service, friendly people, felt at home
The Villas were family run and for the money we paid I thought it was excellent value. I little way out of main town but within walking distance of about 10 minutes. If you have a moped or quad bike its with 3 minutes Not the hotel only real bug bear was the building site that was going on next door. No mention of this on your site or from the villa owner. Still it was good value for money as the owners made us most welcome.
The staff and owners were very helpful and did all they could to ensure our stay was pl;easant
Friendliness of the hotel staff, and cleaness. Nice breakfast
The owner who was very helpful and pleasant. The location was peaceful but convenient and close to the caldera. The room was spotless and well appointed.
Staff, comfortable room, breakfast. It was on the main road. Noisy.
The staff are very nice. The location is ok, even though we must say it's quite noisy as near busy street and they have very thin wall, but it's fine for us.
We enjoyed our stay at Amerisa Suites, although we requested a room with a view, it actually faced a back street. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, even if we weren't in it much. Breakfast was enough and the gentleman who served the breakfast, showed us to our room and seemed to do everything else was very helpful. We hired a 4 wheel motorbike from the hotel but in retrospect, we would have done it ourselves to get a newer, better bike. The brochure said they supplied the room with a bottle of water daily but they didn't. we hired a motor bike from here and although it got us around, we could've got a better one ourselves.
The people who ran the hotel (I believe George Kalfagian and another young lady) were extremely helpful and kind. George drove me to my meeting the first day because I was lost and was late. I had cut short my visit because of travel changes and they allowed me to check out early. The facilities for a quick shower and toilet use after checking out is excellent. I will use this hotel again and will recommend it to friends.
Amerisa Suites was amazing. Our favorite place. Petros picked us up from the ferry and was incredibly nice and helpful. We had some problems booking a future ferry ride, and he helped us get through the situation. George from the front desk was extremely accommodating, and answered any question we ever had. There was free internet at the hotel as well. We were upgraded to a honeymoon suite with a private hottub, balcony and swimming pool at no extra charge!
They upgraded us to a suite with no charge, since it was our honeymoon. The room was nice and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the complimentary bottle of wine as a welcome was very appreciated.
the free upgrate to some better rom you cant realax or sit outside of the room or on the pool site because the hotel is locatet in some 180 grad turn from the mainstreat who the nois from cars and motorbikes gos 24 hours. If you have wet feets the floor get dirt marks because of the dust from the trafik
The hotel was very good for the price. The pool was good and it was only a short walk to the centre of Oia. The staff were very friendly and even came and picked us up when we couldn't find the hotel. Breakfast was not included in the price. There was not map for the hotel on the website so it was difficult to find the hotel when we got there.
The service is excellent. The owner kindly upgraded our 1x double bedroom and 1x triple bedroom to suite and it was totally amazing! I like the complimentary wine offered and placed nicely on the desk when you stepped into your room. The view was excellent. There is a small path across the mainroad towards the city centre which take less than 10 minutes to reach. However, it is a bit steep for old
Great hotel, albeit a bit smoky for our tastes (but all of Greece is). Could walk to Fira center easily. Room was nice and clean. We stayed in the 4 bed hotel and everyone fit comfortably.
We've had a wonderful stay in this fantastic and hotel for our honeymoon. It's just located on the cliff of Firostefani and very close to that famous church on most of the postcards. The view from the private balcony is absolutely amazing and we watch the sunset everyday there. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are full equipped in the room and also the design is quite...
This was a great place to stay - amazing views, great breakfast, friendly staff, awesome pool. You have to walk steps to get up and down, but this comes with the view. Highly recommended.
the view and location is good. wifi signal is low, no signal in room, only in lobby. have to run up and down to get on the internet. there is no sign for the location of the hotel at all. it was hardly found if no staff picking you up the grand suit room value 230 euro but only 1 double bed with 2 sofa bed which disappointed me. they have run of of shampoo, shower is not working. staff working time only from 0700 to 2200 so if u are arriving early or late, no one can take care you. they have no idea about taxi cost, not much information could be told. overall it looks more like a B&B than a hotel which doesnt worth for 230 for a grand suit room or 120 for some normal room!
They were very hospitale and friendly -- willing to even accommodate special breakfast requests; very patient with our many questions on how to best spend our very limited time in Santorini
The receptionists were fantastic. Everytime we asked for help -eg checking bookings, advice on restaurants, places to go, reservations etc, we got it, when needed. They were efficient, kind and thoughtful. The porter also did a great job lugging our suitcases up and down the 100 steps or so to the top of the caldera. We enjoyed our caldera view. The vertical distance from our room up to the main part of Thira. (at least 100 steps) Not for people with knee problems.
We loved the sew view and the pool. The breakfast was good and the service of the staff. They were very kind and alert. The entrance at the Hotel had all the garbage with flies around with a terrible smell. This is not good for the prestigious of the Hotel.
Otelin muhtesem bir manzarası var.Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim ancak sadece 1 gu kalın fazlası cok pahalı gelecektir. Otelin merkezden tarifi onemli.Yoksa caldera cok karısık zor buluyorsunuz oteli.
otelin yerinin şehir merkezinde olması, temiz ve manzarasının iyi olması kahvaltı zayıf daha iyi olabilir çeşit ve kalite olarak
The location and the view of the vulcano from their pool was spectacular. The personal of the hotel was very friendly and tried to do their best for a pleasant stay. First, our reservation overlaped with other reservation so in the last two nights they had to move us to another hotel. The good part was that the second hotel was nicer, at least the room and the service was amazing, just that it was located in Oia. So at the end we were happy after this incident. Another issue that we had was that at Cosmopolitan hotel we reserved a standard room, and it was sooo small that u couldn´t even move ( around 12m 2 all room with bathroom). In the first night I fell that I don´t have enough air in the room, but at the end I got used with it. So if u truly want to enjoy ur stay book a suite.
The position of the hotel, amazing... and not many steps for Santorini as my husband has knee problems Did not have a private balcony, our room was next to reception, a bit noisey in morning with staff walking past talking.
Convenient location if you want to be central to Fira (not the nicest place on the island though!) We were upgraded and treated v well. Fantastic view and pool It's a bit too in the middle of it all to feel really relaxing. It's all very luxurious, but there's something of a soul missing from it (as with many of the 'luxury' hotels in Santorini
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the pool area are stunning and you are right in the centre of town, but still away from the hustle and bustle.
This is an awesome hotel, we were greeted upon entrance with champagne and friendly staff. The host has many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants! And of course the pool is one of the best places to sit and relax in all of Santorini! Thanks to everyone at the Cosmo for a great stay.
staff were lovely and the setting and views were stunning could not get internet access in our room
good location, good continental breakfast even for our EUR180 / night without seaview, not good value of money.
The location is very convenient to tour around the Fira town. The shared porch is an ideal place to watch a sunset falling beind the vaolcano. The breakfast was enjoyable. But if would have been perfect if some fruits were offered. The bathroom faucet was shaking. I don't understand why the hotel staff couldn't find a better time to fix it but wait until the afternoon when we have to stay in the room for friends to visit us.
Theoxenia hotel is located right in the heart of the fira city. It is amongst the restaurants and the hustle and bustle of the town can be felt all the time. The amazing caldera view from the terrace is spectacular. The breakfast that was served every morning was amazing as well. The hotel offers all that is needed and offers great value. Although, the hotel does not have a pool, but you can use its sister hotel, Aressana, for this purpose. The pool at Aressana is quite fascinating and very relaxing. The accessibility to all the shops and the bus station, as well as the taxi station, was crucial to us, as is to any vacation. For that Theoxenia offers the best. The bus station is 2 minutes away as well as the taxi stand. The reception is not 24 hours and at times you have to wait a little to speak to the staff. Usually that is not needed as the rooms have everything that you need.
The location is convenient and good to enjoy the sunset.
The location of the hotel in the centre of Fira is excellent. The fact that the hotel has wifi is great as well. The hotel is located on the main street that runs along the caldera, but because it is on the other side of the street, the lower floor rooms don't have sea view. The man behind the counter was not very welcoming. He was trying to be polite but it didn't come naturally to him. I found he was stressed and that he created an uncomfortable atmosphere instead of a relaxed environment.
Breakfast on the terrace Lots of stairs
breakfast was great, hotel staff very friendly and accomodating The bathtub was leaking very badly, however staff was aware and provided several extra towels to help with the leak.
We really enjoyed breakfast served in our room in the morning. I loved the fact that the Hotel stays open in the winter and they had the central heating on, since the nights we stayed there (we had to stay one more night on the island) was rainy and bit cold. The location is on the heart of Fira, by the cliffside with sunset views. I did not really like the fact that the balconies had old-warn out chairs, but they said they are ready for new one's for next summer. Nice, small and cosy B'nB, perect for a few days stay. Thank you Chris for your attendance and hospitality. We had to wait for couple of hours to have shower one day since the city hall had to do maintainanca in some central water pipes. The hotel's back up system had only hot water running, so we had to wait for the cold water to balance.
The location! But please ask for the Caldera view. The breakfast delivered in the room. Access to their luxury partner hotel Arressana! Way too expensive for the quality of the room. No renovation for the last 20 years...the bathroom was horrible.
The staff were all very helpful and relaxed. The rooms were cleaned every day. There was wifi available around the lovely pool area. The hotel was in a good location, about 8-10 minutes walk into the heart of Thira. It does not have views of the caldera as it is located to the east, however the accommodation is probably cheaper than those with a view which makes it good value for money.
The staff/family was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cosy, the hotel was charming and the atmosphere was relaxed. Breakfast was served with a smile by the pool. It was good and a great way to start the day. All in all a very nice hotel. Although the hotel is located only 10-15 minutes from the centre of Fira, you have to walk up a very busy and dusty road without sidewalks.
Close to town but not too close The night we checked in the toilet hadn't been cleaned. It was pretty wild.
very good location and good value for money. very clean and good staffl would recommend to friends shower very small however very adequate
The pool and breakfast are great. THe room was really tiny and like a cave. The floors are really dirty and the shower head hardly had any water comming out of it. Some of the staff are helpful but one of them actually tried to hit! Not very professional. It is in Fira but not on the side with the Caldera view. About 10 minutes walk to town.
Lovely pool area and view. The shower was not very comfortable.
Calm. Friendly staff. Breakfast - same all days
We were moved after the first night to a much nicer room with a king-size bed and attached terrace. Staff and service were excellent. It was a bit of a walk uphill into town
Very friendly staff that went out of their way to assist and help. Shower was very small
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was nice, the pool was beautiful, and everyone who worked there wasa very helpful.
The location (2 mins walk from the main square in Fira) was great! The room was basic but cosy and had a nice feel to it. The staff was lovely! Also the free wi-fi was a nice thing, even 4* hotels in Greece don't always provide this. At the price we got it for it was an absolute bargain.
In Summer Time Hotel I like the most the helpfull staff, the modern decoration of the room, the clleanliness of the room and its location clode to all things needed like bus sto, supermarket, taxi station, night clubs, restaurants, fast food, travel angencies and all these a capital offers. I surely recommend this hotel either for family vations or for friends vacations.
Wonderful hotel staff. Great location...lovely jacuzzi. Would definately stay here again.
very friendly staff, always smiling and very happy to help when needed :)
