The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, arriving late after hours to help us check in after our flight was delayed. There were 3 rooms available, and we could see all 3 to decide which we liked best. Each had their own unique personality, all very nice! There's a beautiful wood staircase that goes up to all rooms. It was fine for us, but could be a problem for someone with mobility issues (or very heavy luggage).
great place for families
The location is quiet but still near tavernas and shops. The room was attractive, spacious and clean and the bathroom very nice. I asked for non smoking and did not smell any smoke in the room. The best part was the wonderful caring attitude of the couple who run the pension. They went to great lengths to be kind and helpful, including helping us get gasoline during the strike.
The breakfast was amazing. You are a close walk to anything there. The people are very clean. I would highly recommend. The walls were a bit thin. There was only one other room filled but we could hear them moving around at night.
excellent location, friendly staff and clean room The room was extremely small (Attic double room). Luckily we r both thin, didnt bring suitcase and very in love...:). we were informed that this room was the only one that was too small therefore i would suggest to lower the price or maybe provide breakfast included in the price
This is a delightful little (6 room) pensione a few streets back from the main square in Nafplio. The rooms are modern, clean, and nicely decorated. But the best part of our stay was the help we got from Magra (sp?) who runs the place. Her English is good, and she made us feel at home. Our favorite place we stayed in Greece.
Very amiable atmosphere, warm decoration. Lack of a cofee/drink bar.
Room was larger than average and each is decorated differently. No lift but I only had to carry my suitcase up one flight of stairs so it wasn't a problem. If you have a lot of luggage it might be something to consider.
Nice location in historic part of town on a quite street. Freindly and helpful owners. Extremly nice beach within a 10min drive from the hotel. Our room had a nice view of the two castles from the balcony, although it may be the only room with such a nice view.
location is very good, nearby the center of nafplion, but very calme
The hotel is in the center of Nafplion. It is located in a narrow road with almost no traffic. All attractions of Nafplion are in walk distance, nevertheless it is very quiet. A small beach is also in walk distance. The hotel itself has no parking. But public parking is no problem, E.g. there is plenty of parking space in the harbour. We had the room "Blue". The room was spacious and beautiful with a small balcony. It was very tidy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and speaks English. The breakfast is served at your table. We had the continental breakfast. It was plenty and had some variations over the days. So it was not always the same. Overall we enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend this hotel.
Very convenient location for shopping and the port of Nafplion. Lots of stairs, and pricey for a "suite". I didn't expect a pull out couch when booking a suite for 4 at that price.
The room facilities were excellent, most notably the bed, which was huge and very comfortable. A breakfast with warm servings would be much appreciated.
Very good location, traditional sweet small balcony for smoking! very nice renovation! This hotel is really very nice but i prefer more modern decoration.
I enjoyed this hotel very much. On my point of view hotel provides everything what traveler needs: beautiful design of the rooms, all necessary facilities. Everything of good quality and operates well. Very good service, very pleasant and friendly staff, home atmosphere and very very good owner Leonidas, who understands very well hotel business and does his best to make your stay comfortable. Thank you very much!!! I feel extremely satisfied of my choice and recomend this place to the other travelers. 1)Rooms are situated on the second floor. So, steps can be a little bit inconvenient if you have a lot of or heavy luggage. But the staff is always ready to help you. 2) Under the windows on one side of the hotel there is a taverna. If there are plenty of visitors there, it may be noisy (usually in the evening).
Very convenient location, spacious rooms (very nice decoration and environment), owners very friendly and open, fruits and cakes were available for free! Product supplied for breakfast were a bit limited in variety, not many plugs (and not conveniently spread in the room), warm water was just enough for two
Beautiful old building with stunning interior and funishings. The pool, whilst small is very beatiful and well maintained. Extremly helpful staff.
quiet location near the center, friendly staff.
Excellent location, good service, clean, uptodate with an old "colour"! We enjoed our stay. NO!!
Location. So close to the embankment for a good walk at dusk; yet away from the crowd once you hit the street corner to the hotel. Ironically, location. We followed the direction given by Google Map & ended up at the new part of the city, which is the residential area. It would be better to improve the location map so it's more apparent & easier to pinpoint the exact spot.
nice room comfortable, nice decoration, rich breakfast
A true pearl.
Clean, professional, excellent breakfast Although it's close to the center & waterfront of Nafplion, the hotel is actually very hard to find & even harder to reach (one has to climb over 60 stairs to reach the hotel and then onto the rooms inside the hotel - no elevator...), there is no close by parking and also no way to bring in the car to unload baggage - you have to carry it with you all the way from the parking lot in the harbor - about 10 minutes, it took a lot of time (30 minutes!) for the hot water to start flowing in the shower in the morning. We also had an hour long power outage in the night but I think it was city wide so it's not their direct fault.
The service could not have been better. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location was really wonderful - we had quiet rooms but we were in the old town so that we were only steps away from wonderful tavernas, interesting shops and the beautiful shore. Our sons had a shower that did not work very well.
Ilion hotel is a romance place that travels you to the past...It is at a very good location in the center of Nafpio. This hotel is an art gallery!!!!
This hotel was fantastic our room was the sky room with period furniture and quirky decor. the rooms were smallish but entertaining, staff were helpfull an informative with real pride in there hotel. We had the best continental breakfast ever with table service fore a change. Quite a walk to parking but all Naplio is like that
charm, service steps
Very comfortable bed in attractive room, great bathroom, friendly owners and lavish breakfast. Location excellent an easy walk to everything in the old town. Guests might like to tell the staff in advance of breakfast if they are vegetarian - there is a lot of meat provided automatically and its a shame to waste it.
The location of the hotel. The home made breakfast each day was excellent and well presented. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.
Beautiful hotel with a lovely staff in a great part of the town
We loved the location (not that difficult to find, if you follow directions), the room was very comfortable and cute with a lot of character, and the balcony which tea/coffee was served, but most of all we loved the owners. She was the most gracious host even carrying our bags up the staircase by herself. I think the service is what makes this hotel the best! Oh and the breakfast is amazing! Best breakfast ever, and the owner bakes the most amazing pastries! Not a single thing we didn't like! Everything was perfect!
Amazing hosts, beautiful B&B style hotel with only a few well designed rooms, attention to detail, great breakfast served on balcony. Nafplio is an amazingly quaint town and this hotel was a breath of fresh air after arriving from Athens. Couldn't have asked for more. None.
brilliant hotel 2 minutes from town centre breakfast more than we could eat and a shower like no other do not be put off by size and location once inside its a different world
A good welcome, help with parking in a very congested town. Traditional house, well restored and with atmosphere, right in the centre of Nauplion. Very comfortable room and we enjoyed the balcony. Good variety of choices for breakfast and friendly service. Breakfast could have started before 9 am , although I am sure they would have done this if we had asked. ( If you are visiting nearby popular sites such as Mycenae you need to be there at 8-30 before the crowds!) Although in general the breakfast was excellent , we would have liked local cheeses rather than a processed one but this was a small quibble when there was a variety of alternatives.
This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff is exceptional and the whole place is tasteful, restful and convenient. No.
Great Service - Owner was present every day - Very Helpful
I got the rooftop room which was had a nice terrace and beautiful views
Klymeni is located in the orange groves overlooking Nafplio, rustic hotel, with fireplace, full kitchen, and a modern bathroom. I wish we had planned on more time there. The hotel is family run and the proprietors are both friendly and helpful.
The accomodation was very good, in a beautiful setting
The Amymone was wonderful! Beautifully restored 19th c mansion with cosy, romantic rooms, each differently decorated. Owner & staff are friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast included home-made preserves and freshly baked pastries. Nice choice for anyone, but especially good for a romantic weekend.
Amymone is a stylish conversion of a Venetian building set one street back from the Harbour. Staff are very friendly and there are many nice touches. The beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfasts magnificent. We stayed in the Myrtia suite and would recommend it to anyone. In its class 5 stars.
Charming hotel in a charming town. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, very neatly decorated, and with a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast. We had a great, relaxing time. The only small problem was the proximity of kitchens for several restaurants (just across the street). But given the number of restaurants in Napflio, this is unavoidable.
I loved everything about my stay :-) The staff were lovely, the room was great and the breakfasts were amazing. I will recommend it to all of my friends! It was a little bit noisy one night with people in the restaurant downstairs, but this did not bother me very much.
Excellent Service Noisy bed
Great breakfast with mainly homemade products, very friendly staff. Excellent decoration of rooms and lounge. The owner has a focus on the details.
Clean rooms and very friendly staff
Not the largest of rooms but well presented, boutique style. Excellent location in heart of old town with parking (free) not too far away and a lovely small balcony overlooking a quiet street. Amazing breakfast brought to your room. Nothing not to like.
Difficult to find as it's actually two pensiones rather than one hotel.
Very nice town (Nafplio), good position to discover the nice surroundings. Really pretty and charming hotel, very friendly staff.
Spacious, modern suite. The location is among olive trees, but close to the old town. Breakfast was excellent. WIFI reception was great. There was a large private terrace to sit on. There were a number of dogs in the neighbourhood. They barked day and night for hours at a time.
The place around the room and the breakfast place was Fine!! The stuff was very kind also! The view from our room was at the parking..
Quiet location with parking. The reception very helpful. Breakfast in a nice dependance in the garden with good view. The bathroom was new and well-equipped. The bed sheet was not changed at our arrival and covered with the coverlet (probably a mistake). The bed was too hard.
This home was very nicely located in Nafplio, we took many day trips with ease. I must say after two weeks they had the best coffee at breakfast! Personally I would prefer music to a TV in any place I stay.
Lovely owner run guesthouse, lovely views, lovely outdoors nature feeling, quiet except for dogs and birds which we loved. Had a great time. We had not been aware that the quadruple room regretfully had no view, all other rooms however do and it is wonderful. We'll be back to try the rooms with views. You need a car, which we had.
Located at a quit place on the hill but still close to the city of Napflion. No
Everything was perfect!!!! Nothing at all
Excellent position, very helpful staff, abundant breakfast. To be recommended by all means.
The friendliness and hospitality of the staff was exceptional. Made us feel at ease right from the first moment.
We stayed two wonderful nights at Palazzo Rooms & Suites. The owner really impressed us with exceptional service and hospitality with a true smile. It felt like a home away from home. Thank you again!
The friendly Palazzo managers/owners provided great activity suggestions and found precise location and time info for the many great places to see and things to do around Nafplio. We loved the stylish and comfortable suite that offered views of old town water front and Nafplio fortress. Will stay again someday.
nice stuff, nice room, excellent breakfast. in city centre. wi-fi flat tv (superio room) lack of balcony, lack of view, no place for wet clothes, bit difficult to find
Palazzo is a picturesque fully renovated building with 6 rooms in an excellent place within the old city, centered but quite. A butique hotel that provides exactly what is expected by such a kind of a hotel. I cannot refer to the hostess as "staff of the hotel". It was more like meeting a friend who we will for sure see again!
The room was large and beautifully decorated; the multi-headed massage shower was great; hotel staff were friendly and helpful; the hotel is small scale (four rooms only) in a very central though quiet location; real fresh orange juice at breakfast (squeezed not before arrival at the breakfast tabel). This was by far the best (and cheapest) of our three hotels in Greece during our holidays.
The situation and two balconies for al fresco drinking and people watching. The staff/owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit "basic" - not much choice
Friendly and helpful staff; excellent location; good ambiance
Friendly staff I think we were the unlucky ones to get the worst room which I dont think was worth the money we paid
Excellent in everything
Friendly enviroment, spacious and nicely decorated room. Clean and neat. Home made breakfast. Kind owners offering a hospitable environment.
Located right in the center of the old town it takes only a minute to reach restaurants, clubs and the cafés at the harbor. The hotel is a familiy run business and everybody is very friendly and helpful. The lovely suites are individualy furnished - classic style. Parking space is limited in the area. Bathrooms are small.
Clean and comfortable hotel / B & B located in the old part of Nauplion, friendly and helpful staff .
Andromeda was a phenomenal hotel. We truly enjoyed our experience there,
the details of every aspect of your stay are very accurate, from the furniture, to the bath accessories, to the fresh made orange juice
Location, location, location. It was a short walk to a very romantic waterfront area with good restaurants and interesting shopping. The three fortifications added adventure and mystery to the locale.
The location of this hotel is excellent, and staff are friendly with a good breakfast
It was raining and there was water coming inside the room
the room and the breakfast
The spacious room
Very clean rooms, excellent location just inside the old town, parking nearby, staff was very kind and friendly.
Very kind staff. Very comfortable, well designed large rooms. Perfect location, very quite but nearby every attraction of the village. Lovely experience of being in a typical Nafplio house.
Very friendly staff , charming well kept and clean rooms, superb locations close to all amenities, bakery smell from below wafts through the room
The hotel is situated in the old part of town, so evrything is readily accessible. We loved the view of the Palmidi Castle from our balcony, the accessibility of so many pretty streets containing elegant shops and charming tavernas and the proximity of the sea. The facilities in the room were great too. We'll be back! Steps to attic room are very steep, even for 'fit' people. Next time we will stay in one of the other well appointed bedrooms,
the rooms were lovely, and the breakfast was very extensive. the women i encountered were very friendly and helpful, despite not speaking a lot of english i cant think of anything really
Very central location. The rooms in general looked very nice, apart from the one we stayed in (attic room). I would propose that people should request one of the other very nice rooms.
Great location, right in the heart of the Plaka area. Very good breakfast. Hotel manager greeted us during breakfast one day to ask how our stay was, and to find out if we needed anything. She also recommended sightseeing walking routes and provided a map.
The owner was kind enough to let us go after 1 night. The first 4 (or so) rooms are 30 steep steps away (no elevator). To get to the attic room (another 20 super-steep steps) you'll better teach your suite-case to fly.
Lovely! The staff, the ideal location for walking around in old town Nafplion, the quaint decor of the Pension. I will definitely return again! Lost water pressure during a morning shower. Probably common as we stayed in the top Attic room. But I was on vacation. No need to rush to work. I'm not sure how long I had to wait for the water to flow again, but it made more for a memory rather than an inconvenience.
This is an old house turned to pension; first floor has most rooms (and only one room at the attic) and ground floor is used for breakfast. Old houses turned to hotels is quite common for hotels located inside the old city. It is at the edge of the old city, so you can go everywhere by foot. At the same time it is located in a quite street, so you avoid the noise from the taverns/bars/shops especially at night. The rooms where comfortable with very tall ceilings. Breakfast was good and homemade marmalade quite good. The room arrangement reflects to a certain degree that this was a house once. As in most buildings in the old town the stairs are quite steep.
