Good setup in general. Nice to have the pull out sofa separated from the main bed. We were on a college visit trip with our daughter and this worked out well. The room included a full size refrigerator as compared to many hotel "mini" versions. Bed was comfortable. Internet worked well in our room and TV had many stations to choose from (good size screen in both rooms). Having the kitchenette was great - had dishwasher, microwave, fridge, etc. I question that the queen bed was a standard queen (seemed smaller than our queen bed at home). Room description stated there was a DVD player in the room - there wasn't (didn't matter since we brought a portable). We had trouble with the room heater - did not work well when room thermostat was set to "auto" but did when set to "on." Room was very pricey but not really surprising considering the area (Cambridge MA) - most every hotel in the area was expensive.
The staff was extremely helpful.
The included breakfast and light dinner was very good. Room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. All rooms have only one bed. Any additional sleepers use a roll away or pull out couch, which was not very comfortable.
Sumptuous luxury, privacy, waterfront location, Old North End proximity 500 building felt removed from the hotel and lobby: more residential; try for east-facing room in the building facing the harbor. Difficult to get to due to traffic: allow extra time
Good location. Very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom counter was nice. For the price and quality of hotel I was very disappointed. It was an extra $10 for wifi. The shower was subpar and the toilet had terrible pressure/flushing capabilities. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was delivered cold. There was nothing spectacular about the breakfast and it was $98 for two people.
Great service. I lost my credit card and the concierge was very helpful in getting that resolved. I had to wait 25 minutes for the valet to bring my car for pick up
Location and the staff
The room was clean and nicely appointed, the service was prompt and attentive. The location is great.
Location and quality of the hotel. The front desk service was not very good and the valet service was terrible as I had to ask for my car three times and had to wait 35 minutes for it at a time when no one else was waiting for cars to be retrieved.
The level of service was excellant. The location was great. The room and view was excellant as well
nice hotel, they gave me a room with a fantastic view of the boston common and skyline not an issue with the hotel, just the location lacked some basic supporting retail like a drug store
Room Services, good people
I believe that, despite relatively high rate, it is excellenty value for money. Amenities and room in general showed great care for guests to feel comfortable and pampered, it has one of the greatest offering for kids I have seen in a hotel and its location is very convenient to reach all key areas around Boston.
Excellent service, lovely room Bath room too small
great room, location drinks in bar were very expensive
Great location, comfortable,clean
Best Hotel in Cambridge/ location is perfect
The Charles is a perfect place to stay in Cambridge. It is well located, well designed with contemporary clean lines but still warm, and the Rialto is a fabulous restaurant in the hotel. We had a corner room which was quite spacious which we really appreciated as we were staying multiple nights.
Location was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Excellent farm to table restaurant and bar. Although they had a parking garage, the elevator to the lobby was out of order so you had to take the stairs and the stairs lead to outside the front entrance. Very inconvenient if carrying any bags from the car and also because of sub-zero temps that weekend. Also no in and out access for self parking at $40 per night. If you leave you have to pay again.
Great location near the center of Harvard Square. Rialto is an excellent restaurant. Regatta Bar is great if you like jazz. Hotel is in need of renovation. New England shabby-chic means it's just a basic hotel in terms of cleanliness and room amenities. Bathrooms are seriously dated and in need of complete redo. Service levels are mediocre. Business center is a joke (1 computer and an attached printer). Prices are very high: you are paying for the location.
Everything is within walking distance as I enjoyed a glorious autumn afternoon. I browsed endless rows of books at the Coop, watched rowers glide along the Charles River and ran stairs at Harvard Stadium while the football team engaged in a spirited practice. When I returned to the hotel, the room smelled great. They must have a special scent. I enjoyed the organic soap, shampoo and lotion that came with the room. Henrietta's Table is great for breakfast / brunch, and I highly recommend The Harvest for dinner. A very nice stay.
Location was great with excellent service and nice trait ants around in the plaza
Well decorated rooms. Convenient to Harvard square Officious front desk staff. Being told they couldn't change our departure and charges despite a family emergency because it was our fault we used a third party reservation service. Being told entirely dissimilar rooms were the same. Smelly comforter covered by clean sheets. No coffee maker in room. Ice available only on request from room service.
The Charles Hotel is centrally located in Cambridge, so it's very easy to get around the town. We walked wherever we needed to go and got there quickly and easily. The hotel has several dining options and an actual fitness club, not just a room with some cardio equipment and universal equipment. The wifi works well and the staff were all very helpful. It's pretty expensive to stay here, but we found a good deal on one of the discount hotel sites. I'd return in a heart beat.
Excellent service and superior restaurant. Very friendly staff who facilitated the check in and out as well as the luggage. I was in and out many times with my 7 year old grandson and he was always greeting with a smile. My daughter belongs to your health club and so they are used to going to your hotel. Overall, a well located, efficient and very quiet hotel.
The room was very drafty near the windows- lots of cold air coming in
One great thing about Harvard Square is the high energy and bustle, especially when school is in session. What makes The Charles so perfect is that it is a tranquil respite right on the edge of all the happenings.
Location The rooms are old, they smell like stale cigarettes, and the gym is poorly equipped. Only one treadmill.
$12 parking fee. Outrageous for the location! The desk clerk did waive ours when I complained that we would be there for only 10 hours. The room price was rather high for the value.
Free shuttle bus to Harvard Square
This hotel is undergoing renovation. It needs it. The ac unit in our room was clearly old and beat up. There were holes in the halls where new cables are being or will be run. There were screw holes in the bathroom and an outline around them on the wallpaper of something that used to be mounted there, but isn't anymore. The water in the bathtub drained too slowly, it filled while we took a showe
The hotel did not live up to it's description. It was shabby not boutique-like. Just an old hotel with choice of soap. The location, while convenient, was your basic strip mall surrounded by more strip malls. The parking fee was to park your own car in an open parking lot. They did not tell you that parking spaces next door were free. All in all, pretty annoying
The close proximity to the train station and Harvard Square, not to mention the cinemas and other shopping conveniences.
Size of bed and location old building, tattie in need of a lot of repairs (some most be essential!!)
Very friendly staff! Great pool and whirlpool area! Beautiful room. One of the best fitness rooms I have seen in any hotel I have stayed at!
Comfort was good and staff was really helpful. the upholstery and wild animals fur decorations of my room! Gosh, how kitsch! ;-)
location and a safe area friendly staff , luxury hotel
The staff was professional and patient. The room was wonderful. Nothing.
Hotel staff was great.Loved the pet friendly environment.
The Conceirge did a fabulous job!
Staff is professional and very nice and helpful. Hotel is well kept. Excellent free coffee in the morning. Water in the evening. Parking is not free but reasonable. Beds are very comfortable. Cute pets in the hotel sometimes.
Excellent hotel- would defintely stay there again.
The bed was very comfortable and the robes were a little wild but very nice. Room was clean. Decor was a little over the top in the rooms themselves but the common areas were very nice.
Stylish, very friendly and helpful staff
the friendly and helpful staff. the bathrobes and bath products. we did not bring our pet but we like that the hotel is pet friendly and would consider staying there with our pet. liked the complimentary glass of wine we couldn't think of anything
Clean Quiet Allowed to park (free) early before check-in Location great for accessing the T I had car trouble, and all I was told from the staff was "Call AAA". There was no request if I needed any assistance or followup. Area around hotel not very nice
the hotel staff were great..their check in was so fast and you'll really appreciate that after a long trip..also they got a freindley room service staff..it's a nice small hotel with nice views i didn't like their breakfast..not much choices.. and apparentley am not used to help yourself services....
Nice, good breakfast. Good location for parents of Harvard students to stay. Roads a little confusing
poor location. small room without closet. overpriced.
it is near subway o boston and it is near mit
Its location was great. Next to a mall and a short walk to a strip mall and next to major attractions and public transportation. I was extremely disappointed in the breakfast that was served and the amenities that either they didnt have or were not mentioned to me by staff. The breakfast for me is why i choose this hotel brand. I have in the past stayed at the hampton inn and found that the breakfast was wonderful. Although it was a buffet style the food was barely warm and was not of the standard i had been acustomed too. the first morning there were no eggs and the second morning there were unusual lookng eggs in which i had to ask what they were. breakfast is the most important start of the day and had id known that the breakfast was not going to be up to parr i would have stayed at the days inn just down the street. i will think twice before making my choice
Very friendly staff Location was not very nice.
the room was clean and confortable. the breakfeast and the free parking was appreciate.
The room was clean and comfy and the breakfast every morning was pretty good. Also close to a shopping mall. I did not think it necessary that they replaced my soap and towels every day without me asking for it (I did not throw the towels on the floor). I reckon resources can be saved.. Hotel staff was a mix between very friendly and kinda blunt-friendly. If you need to be in the city center, it is a bit out of the way (but well accessible with the T).
The staff was very friendly, i hat a minor problem with my room, but they gave me a new room immediately. I will never get used to eating out of a plastic plate using a plastic knife, but it is probably a typical American habit ...
Very clean. - The free breakfast is terrible. - The wifi is very slow. - Rooms are very old-looking. - Way too expensive for what it is.
The manger who was there during the day on the 16th was incredibly helpful, friendly and a sincere lady. She really made me come away with a very good impression of the hotel
Helpful staff Location. Very far out of town with extremely poor transport links to city centre. This was not the impression I got from website!
just sleep and eat poor manu at breakfast
Location. Comfort. Relaxed atmosphere for a city centre hotel. Breakfasts were rather expensive.
i loved how it was so close to the fanueil hall and it was an easy walk to most of the places, especially the freedom trail. it was also near the TD garden, so that was pretty awesome
The location of the hotel was perfect. No car needed as we were right next to all of the shopping of Fanuiel Hall. Also, the spa was right next door which just what we wanted for a girls weekend away. The parking to stay at this hotel was really pricey. So we parked at the T-station which was a lot cheaper, however it meant a short walk to the hotel with all of our luggage
Great location, very comfortable, most staff was very helpful. The best restaraunt we experienced in the downtown area. Their food was fantastic! The housekeeping schedule was a bit off - but fine in detail. Also, one of the staff members was not particularly helpful with walking directions.
within walking distance of most everything and the balcony overlooking the area was great thought the carpet needed to be cleaned in the room and possibly replaced in the hallways
We liked the location - close to the airport, Faneuil Hall and the Financial center and places of interest. The breakfast - only one available in the area - was expensive and not good. We were forced to go to one of the closest hotels in order to get a proper buffet breakfast.
Gabriel the concierge workers opening doors the cover of heating unit fell off and the filter was loaded with dust
Friendly staff, close to airport, walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs in Boston's North End.
Location was near where I had to do business.
high quality room, comfortable, clean, brilliant location n/a
Room space was good Breakfast was poor Location was not great
Friendly, if ineffectual, staff. I have stayed here several times before, but this year the place has really gone downhill. It was dirty and just looked tired. Uncleaned spills, floors not vacuumed, carts in the hall, wIndows that had lost their vacuum. Just not up to Hyatt standards. Perhaps the new manager can make a change, but this is a steep uphill climb. One more try or we are switching to the AC at Wellington Circle.
This is the only hotel in downtown Medford. Walking distance to decent restaurants and coffee shop. Staff is friendly. Morning complimentary breakfast offerings are as expected, but prepared well. Facility is kept clean and tidy. Room is large and a family of 4 didn't trip over each other. Medford Square is always tricky driving. Entrance to hotel isn't well marked -- one must take a left at light before the hotel and then a right into the parking lot. Hotel room rug was stained and plug in sink didn't work correctly. If you are from out of town visiting Tufts, this may not be the best welcome to the area, especially if you are not a bold, risk-taking driver.
The breakfast doesn't taste very good lol
Staff was friendly, lots of choices for breakfast, comfy beds, and clean rooms! Location wasn't to bad, but I did end up taking a taxi to Boston. Better if you know your way around the public transport or can drive, not too bad if you don't mind cab fare!
The hotel smelled heavily of cigarette smoke despite being a nonsmoking hotel. The mattresses were old and broken down. There was trash littering the hallway that was never picked up during our stay. The hotel shuttle took nearly an hour to pick us up at the airport and when we left, we had to wait for quite awhile to take the shuttle back because they would only make trips at the top of the hour. The shuttle wasn't in use or anything, we just had to wait for their arbitrary timing, which we weren't informed of in advance. Really, the strong cigarette stench was the worst part -- our pajamas smelled of it the next day and had to be laundered.
Easy check-in and check-out. This is in good proximity to most of the downtown Boston sites. The hotel offers a shuttle to the train station as well. It was what I expected for the location, it wasn't the most up to date or clean hotel.
Good location that we choose to get to airport easily. Our room was clean and spacious. Excellent value. The vanity area in our room was small and difficult for 2 to use. that may have been particular to our room.
Location, staff, clean. shower was not working properly, room service did not pay complete attention to their duties.
The hotel is in a great location. It was surrounded by restaurants and the church bell sounded lovely. Room service was delicious, came quickly, and was hot. I was sorry that the room lacked slippers, a shower cap, a complimentary bottle of water, a newspaper, or turndown service. They are having a plumbing problem. The pipes in the shower bang and the shower head looks ready to shoot out of the wall. Breakfast was not delicious and the valets were so slow retrieving our car the following morning that we almost missed our brunch reservation.
Hotel was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.
We were seated against the wall in the restaurant - the door was like an earthquake every time it was opened - which was frequently
The whole ambience of the hotel is really cool. I think they've got it just right - It feels quite informal, however, the staff were spot on! The location is also perfect.
A very clean hotel with efficient and friendly staff no coffee pot in the room and the incredible cost to get a very nice room in downtown Boston near the theaters. $425 is just too much money for a middle class family to pay to go have a fun night on the town. In the future I will make arrangements further in advance so I can find a boutique hotel like John Jeffries House or better for $200 / night. OR, I just won't go for overnight.
Phenomenally friendly staff, offered us free wine and Cokes and party bag for the kids. Unnecessarily nice!
Nice how the staff was friendly and catered to the clientele and even those that had dogs staying with them. Nice gym and equipment. Very nice room decor and comfortable bed and queen size beds were nice. Excellent location being close to everything we wanted and close to the subway for easy transportation to anywhere including the airport without having to use the expensive taxi route. I didn't like that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room to make our own coffee vs. having to go to a local Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks for an added cost. That should be a standard for any hotel. Also, there is no fan in the bathroom to get rid of the humidity quickly after taking a shower. The walls are a bit thin as you can hear too much noise from upstairs and side neighbors when using shower/bathrooms and shutting doors.
Very nice location and the staff were tremendous. The room was well decorated and clean. The service was outstanding.
Reservations center rude... Unhelpful ands bad system updates
Location was great for Freedom Trail. Attentive service. Outdated TV. Very expensive parking.
Our stay at the Nine Zero was beyond extraordinary. We called about six hours before check in to see if it would be possible to upgrade to a room with a city view (my husband told the guy at the front desk that we were celebrating out anniversary and seeing a show at the Orpheum Theatre that evening) - we were quickly and without questions upgraded to a king suite on the 12th floor with a gorgeous view of the city - we weren't even charged for such an amazing upgrade! nothing. no complaints.
Great hotel for visiting Boston. Breakfast was great. Staff was very attentive. Pizza Boy (nearby) has excellent pizza and you can walk to it.
breakfast was pretty good and sumptuous Transport to the Airport was restrictive and it took too much time!!
Very quiet, friendly staff, delicious breakfast.
The Hotel staff was very friendly and very supportive. I had to fax a confirmation letter to the Bank, so the manager Maxim Davidov did everything to fax a letter on time and was willing and eager to help. I also liked that we did not have to ask twice for anything that we requested. I liked everything regarding the hotel. My only concern was location. I had an exam in Boston and it takes about 7-8 stops by metro to get to the city of Boston. But then again, the price was very convenient, especially when you are on a budget. Also very close to the Logan International airport.
Very convenient shuttle Adjacent restaurant is poor
The place was well kept and my accommodations were good, especially for a very reasonable price. I was disturbed by a loud conversation in the next room for a while and an air mattress endeavor at about 3am across the hall. The walls may be a bit thin there. Those were the only issues however.
The hotel appeared clean and the room was quiet. The breakfast offered was fine and the complimentary shuttle to the airport worked out very well. We drove to Boston's north end for a wonderful Italian dinner and getting back and forth was simple and straight forward. We found that the room telephone did not work when we attempted to contact the front desk to retreive our car from the valet parking. Also, the television stopped delivering all the channels...it intially worked with all channels but then a number of them "disappeared" which was disappointing. It would be better, also, if Pay per View was available as we would have enjoyed staying in and watching a good movie before an early morning flight.
It had a shuttle to and from airport. The driver was very pleasant and helpful. It is a short distance from the airport Nothing really
Close to airport and free shuttle to the airport. Maybe free shuttle from the airport would be great too.
Beds were good, lounge downstairs was nice, good breakfast, nice outdoor sitting area with gas fire ledge. Having to tip toe around the entry, lobby, and elevator area while a rather large crew of guys used somewhat loud equipment to clean & scrub floors. Had to be careful getting around because floors were wet from entry all way to elevators.
We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel was a good surprise. I was expecting regular accomodations and service but the room and bathroom - not to mention the staff - was way better than just regular. Considering the prices in Boston hotels, even if you have to drive or take the train downtown everyday to enjoy your turism, it is worth staying at this Confort Inn. I have only good things to say. :-)
Good shuttle sevice, spotless room, attentive staff Had no problems.
Location is fantastic--easy walking distance to all the places of interest. Hotel is itself a historical landmark. Room was rather small, no free wifi.
Rooms small. Views terrible. Bathroom really small. If you can, select another hotel. Small. Needs renovations
The staff at the back hotel bar was friendly, excellent and accommodating when the kitchen was about to close in 5 minutes. He even offered to get Guinness on tap from the front bar the Last Hurray. Rooms were clean and they were able to accommodate us with a better view. Bed is comfortable and linens are nice thread count. Decor is classic, wood paneled, gold, red and mustard yellow-- and reminded us of Stephen King's The Shining (where the film was made). Wifi is not included if you book through a third party-- they should change this policy as a courtesy. Drainage in tub was a little slow but this is true of most Boston older buildings.
A friend of mine who lives locally was surprised I booked their since she said it is really "old". She was right. Main lobby carpet needs replacing. Stepped inside the "fine" dining restaurant and noticed a musty smell associated with "old" carpets and drapes.
Great location because it's across the street from my corp office. Was clean. As a general rule, I usually enjoy this hotel, stay here often. 1. They couldn't find my reservation when I checked in. I then said that I booked on Kayak.com. They kept looking so I had to find the reservation online and, turns out, the reservation was made through Booking.com. Only then could they find my reservation. Desk clerk seemed like he was on Prozac. Also, I booked a Standard room and I'm pretty sure I got a Petite room because it was about the size of my walk-in closet at home.
Samantha was great as we were checking in. We were a little early for check in so she said the hotel would hold our bags while we toured the city. She came through on the promise of a room with a better view. So happy with the room that over looked Kings Chapel and Old City Hall. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, easy walking distance to anything. Beds were comfortable. Room was a little small but wont stop me from staying again. No free WiFi.
Not a detail was missed. Truly a 5-star experience!
Nice Location Room was tiny, outdated decorations, you spend hundreds on a room and they want to charge you $10 day for internet. Stay somewhere else !
The historic beauty of the lobby. Desire queen sized beds. The maid inadvertently picked up my husband's tuxedo shirt when changing the bed linen. Although we reported the loss, no one has contacted us since about ever finding it? A disappointed guest :+(
The location was perfect; the freedoms trail was literally right across the street & there's a nice park that takes 5 minutes to get to. Staff was very friendly, shout out to Pedro the valet, dude told me all the places to check out while I was there and they were all great suggestions. The room was pretty small and the elevators scared my girlfriend (2 of the 4 made her paranoid because they were loud and a little shaky). Unless you're a frequent guest or part of some rewards program you have to pay for wi-fi which is pretty lame. No vending machines which seems to be because they want you to take from the mini bar where a snickers bar was around 10 dollars. Luckily there are 2 7-11's that's take 30 seconds to walk to right next to the hotel.
Location was close to most points of interest in downtown/waterfront Boston. Large lobby and helpful staff. Clean. Would rather have traded nice large entrance and lobby area for a better room size and traded the standard (double) bed for a queen size. Price for what we received was a little on the expensive side. Hotel claims to be 4 star but it doesn't quite make that level. WiFi should have been included as is becoming standard at hotels of this level
The rooms were spacious, view was great, beds were very comfortable. Unbelievably expensive rate for the property. They charged me more than the maximum stated on the door in the room!! And then I had a $35 parking fee on top! (You're captive due to the location, which can be tricky to access off Soldiers Field Rd if you're driving.) could not get the TV to work, or the in room phone! For the price everything should be perfect!
The suite was a genuine suite, with a bedroom and a full sitting room. It was very quiet and therefore restful. The location could be a problem for someone unfamiliar with the area. It's pretty isolated--with the Mass Turnpike on one side and Storrow Drive on the other, and it's on the "wrong" side of the Charles River from Cambridge. You might say it's in the middle of nowhere, and you can't walk to anything close. In fact, it's only a 10 minute walk from Central Square and a 10-15 minute walk from Harvard Square. Knowing the area, I had no problem with it, and with excellent weather, the walks were quite pleasant. But someone unfamiliar with the area might want another hotel. Taxis were readily available, by the way.
The hotel was outstanding. The staff were the most helpful and professional that we experienced on this trip. It was perfectly located between Cambridge and Boston.
Nothing Over price for the room, no continental breakfast, area location was too busy ... Too expense hotel doesn't offer continatal breakfast for that price
The hotel was very nice, staffordable were friendly and hedlpful, roooroom was great. The iron in the room was pretty low quality and couMD donwith an upgrade. Also, it was much further from downtown Boston and publicensed transport than I thought It would be.
Liked the staff, very accommodating and professional. The layout of the rooms really feels comfortable, less like a hotel. The location works for me because it's close to my daughter. Love the cookies. Furniture in living room portion of room could use a good cleaning or update. It's a bit noisy, so if you like it very quiet, probably wouldn't work for you. Restaraunt menu selection is minimal also for the room service.
Size of the suite; view of the Charles River; gym facility; proximity to Cambridge and to downtown Boston by car (but not by transit). It is not at all close to a T station.
35 dollars for parking for one night. Hotel workers protesting at 7am woke us up. Staff unlocked our door and came in while we were still in bed.
Location, comfort and price Was not told view from rooftop was only at night. Thought parking fee was high
Print check in service. Love the room, comfortable.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. 24 hour parking access.
The hotel was always a good temperature Lack of information in room about facilities and choices
Otel odaları nehir manzaralı. Hemen otelin karşısından Boston şehir turu geçiyor. Otel ücretsiz merekeze servis kaldırıyor. Otelin ücretsiz bisikletleriyle göl etrafında gezilebiliyor. Boston'da arabamızı çıkartma ihtiyacı olmadı.
sehirde önemli merkezlere yakın olması: alışveriş merkezi, metro istasyonu
The staff was very friendly and courteous. Location was excellent for my needs Price was way too much for the room and amenities. Very poor value for the money. Does not compare to the Four Seasons or the Ritz in comfort price or amenities. Room was not very comfortable and to charge $19.95 for high speed internet per day is outrageous. For the price it should be complimentary. Would not stay there again.
Great rooms, great service. Not very family friendly.
Customer Service was amazing - staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. Over all feeling of this place is customer-centric without being stuffy or gratuitous -Would love to go back again! It was a little hard to get to off the highway - but not much they can do about that ;)
The hotel is very unique for sure. How often do you get to stay in a prison in luxury? The staff is very friendly, and the glass of sparkling wine at check in was lovely. The quiet lobby turns into a very lively nightclub in the evening. Our view was a tiny slice of the Charles river and the Royal Sonesta Hotel. The price for everything from drinks to breakfast is obscene. My husband and I had breakfast in Clink Sunday morning, I had Bacon and eggs, with 6 pieces of red potatoe, and two cold pieces of toast. My husband had the same except he had sausages that were undercooked, and we each had coffee. The total came to $59.92 without tip. We didn't get menus, just ordered, so we were stunned. Buyer beware!!
Very friendly staffs. Free Wifi only for 2 devices per room & it's not the high speed for playing games. Upgrade is $20 extra.
There are so many choices of hotels in Boston, but this hotel is unique and definitely luxury. They give 5 star service and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. We met up with old friends in Boston and we all stayed the the Liberty, we had an amazing time! Also it was great to be able to come back to the hotel after dinner and the bar scene at the hotel was great. The breakfast at the hotel was overpriced for the portions and service was very slow.
Bar at night was so packed you couldn't get a drink.
The staff was amazing. Great customer service and very knowledgable of Boston. We had lunch at the restaurant "clink". Both the food and service was fantastic. My only complaint was our room. The bed felt a little cheap and was squeaky. The air conditioner seem to have some trouble keeping the room cool. They had robes in the room and although they were clean, they looked worn and were frayed around the collar and sleeves.
The brick work was super cool and the location is top notch. Walking Charles street and public garden was amazing If you stay in the jail rooms the lobby can get a little roudy, but bar closes at 2am so it's quiet after that
Structure Pretty much everything
We've stayed at the Liberty several times. We love it. Great location, great restaurants, and the lobby is amazing.
andre and young man from new jersey was the best person who hever attended me at a hotel . Top notch. the business center and gym need an upgrade
The location. They offered none of the amenities that typically are offered free at any other hotel I have stayed in. Very low value for the top money they ask for. I won't be staying there again on my next trip to Cambridge.
Nice view, good shower, renovated lobby Room was old and unremarkable
Location to the T- able to access the whole city from the hotel Room was small for price
I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall professionalism and courtesy of the staff. The location cannot be beat if you're visiting MIT.
Convenient location. Clean room. Very helpful and pleasant staff. It's shocking that for the price you pay for a room at a Marriott that Wi-Fi or wired Internet connectivity is not free. Really? Bathroom vanity was very small, too small for two people to be getting ready at the same time. The under-mounted bathroom sink wasn't installed under the granite, vanity top correctly...surprisingly low build quality or QA, again, for the price of a room at a Marriott.
on the T very basic room for the price
Close proximity to T stop is ideal. Bed was lumpy, hot water in sink was dangerously scalding.
