The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and quiet even though it was near the airport.
No on site food service
Good location, free shuttle to airport and consequently to bart station, free wireless internet Staff, not polite, shower with weak water pressure
Big room, very good breakfast, big free parking, free Internet access and cheap (self-service) laundry - you can do a wash for $2.5! Internet is a little slow sometimes.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a regular room to a suite with a bay view.
Near the airport, easy to find and driving to. We liked the room a lot. Hence we were positively surprised with this hotel. Clean room, nice facilities also in the room. I can advice this hotel to other ppl. The hotel staff at the Check in point didn't look too friendly and talkative. Other hotels look more friendly.
I could stay at the window or on the patio for hours watching airplanes taking off and landing. It's amazing. The quality of bedding sets are kinda of old. But considering the price it is fine.
Great continental breakfast area ! No Pool !
It was great value for the money. The shuttle bus driver for our drive to San Francisco International at 0911 on October 22, 2010 drove very fast for no apparent reason. He drove around curves at high speed and was forced top apply his brakes very quickly when he approached a red traffic light or curve. It was a Saturday morning with almost no traffic, but he drove as if he was in a hurry to complete his run so he would have more "free' time between runs. Also, when he arrived to pick up guests for the ride to the airport, he talked on his cell phone for over a minute while we waited for him to leave the shuttle vehicle and load our luggage. Overall, he didn't present a very professional image for the hotel and in heavier traffic, his driving would have been dangerous.
It is a good, family owned hotel. Clean, comfortable, small and manageable. Good work-out room and equipment. Complimentary shuttel service from/to airport. Basic continental breakfast.
Under construction, noisey
The bath robes and the gym it's 24hrs How the tv worked and the remote sorta sucked. They need to upgrade
Exceptional customer service. Unclean.
Location Valet and bell hops were friendly and helpful. First check attempt was not successful due to a power outage that only affected the computers. Employee was also rude and really should find a job that does not involve working with people. Attempted to order food to go in the restaurant, after waiting for 25mns while the waiter was watching a football game we gave up and left. Rooms were dated and dingy. Would not recommend as a platinum passport member.
Food at 360 was great. Beds were comfy. No microwaves in room. No liquid coffee creamer, just powder.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The shower was not clean and was hard to turn on. Water pressure was very low. Not desirable.
Location The whole place smelled dusty due to the construction-- I booked a 300 dollar room and they said that there was no running water--- moved me into another room with no view but not any cheaper
we didnt like much. they didnt include on the web that the hotel is going through massive renovations. pool was closed which we wanted to use so badly during our short vacation. The gym was also out of service. it was very disappointing of an experience.
Location. Under much needed renovation. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. Air filter so plugged air wouldn't flow. Toilet wouldn't stop running. Blood on comforter. No coffee maker in room. Not at all what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Staff was great when we told them about issues.
Beautiful hotel with strong drinks! No nightlife near by.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and polite. We were staying for one night before having to be at the UCSF children's hospital the next day and we all slept like babies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was very soft overall we had a great stay.
Room layout, beds, a lot of outlets, very clean HUGE construction project in the middle atrium, hence noise and no restaurant. Bathroom amenities very, very limited - need to ask for basic things like Q-tips and other (yes, they are available - a nice list in the room) but having only soap and shampoo in the room is not sufficient
We needed a place to stay near SFO that provided free airport shuttle. I found this hotel on Kayak, and while it was more than I had planned to spend for one night, it was worth it! The bed was so very comfortable - I didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The room was exquisitely appointed and the staff was very accommodating despite there being a very boisterous party off the lobby - which spilled into the lobby at times. The front desk staff handled a group of small children who were taking items from the Market Place behind the desk extremely well! Thank you so much! More than I wanted to spend for a hotel room.
Great price and nice accomodations for a decent price. Enjoyed the executive floor and it's amenities which were superb for what we paid. We will stay again if we're ever in need of an SFO airport hotel
The hotel is very good, it has clean facilities and friendly staff. I recommend the hotel for anyone that needs to stay around the SF airport area. I did not like the nightly parking fee. It should be included in the room price.
I loved the location to the airport, amazing views, modern vibe and look. Friendly staff! Big tvs!! Dinner was expensive in the hotel. For what it was I should have eaten at McDonald's. $100 mistake.
Not much. No microwave. No fridge. No good complimentary coffee or snacks. Pool and hot tub weren't working when they told me they would be. And room smelled like smoke. No microwave. No fridge. No good complimentary coffee or snacks. Pool and hot tub weren't working when they told me they would be. And room smelled like smoke. Had to pay for parking and wifi! No complimentary breakfast.
Quick check in and out, courteous staff, and the price was right. However, hotel shuttle took almost 30 minutes to make the full trip between the Hilton and the international terminal. The bedding had some small stains and bathroom was not entirely clean.
They charged extra fees.
Good location. Rooms are clean and well kept. My friends left 4-5 messages for me but when I checked, I was told there were no messages left for me. So I didn't get to meet up with my friends. Pretty bad.
We stayed at the executive level and the amenities included with that were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty run down and dated. The carpet in the lobby is very worn and dirty. The room itself was extremely clean and modern.
The hotel feels like it has all of the upgraded tech and decor a geeky guy like myself want out of a hotel. It was clean, close to the airport, and didn't have any noise coming from any highways or streets. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight to find our room wasn't ready. (at 12:30am) The front office manager said the floors had been cleaned that day, so it might feel a bit damn in the halls. Feeling tried we said Okay, and got our room key and went right to our room. The first thing we see is carpet fans scattered all over the room with every moveable piece of furniture stacked on our beds. It took another 45min to get our room switched for one that didn't have any fans, and we were questioned like we made the entire thing up. Only issue we had was the miscommunication from the office manager regarding the overnight parking. I was told it would only be $14 and I would have to use the parking machine in the garage. Well, the machine charges $20 for overnight, and I had actually already been charged $14 for parking on my room bill. So i paid for parking twice...We had to leave for the airport or I would have fought it.
I liked the room, big, clean and comfortable. The amenities were also top notch. It was a great experience. I wish there wouldn't have been a parking fee but other than that, I was happy with everything.
Nice view beds very comfortable.
The breakfast We were on the 7th floor right outside of the maid's storage area and it was extremely noisy!!! It was like a war outside of our room every time they dropped something. It would seem they would stay quiet until checkout. I was attempting to take a nap and that didn't work. When we told the front desk, nothing...
Convenient for airport with regular free shuttle. Comfortable room and good complimentary buffet breakfast included in the deal I booked.
i liked the fact that this hotel provides free parking wich is unusual in SFO, free wifi very clean and comfortable. great hotelbar.
our room was clean and comfortable the parking was $26.00 a day and the access to the hotel was inconvenient
staff was amazing! warm cookies upon arrival! rooms were clean! room service was prompt! will be back for another stay!
One of the best deals I have ever had.
Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean, the cookies were good. Staff was attentive and friendly. Tv channels would come in and out. The bed sheet didnt fit over the bed correctly so it would come apart all the time. Expected atleast the basics like the bedsheets to be on correctly. For the price it was just an ok stay. Be warned there is a parking charge to park overnight. I believe that was not stated in the descriptions.
Carpets need replacing.
Doubletree cookie. Sea view, but through a porthole size window. Shabby place. At 200USD I would expect more.
friendly staff clean rooms
Check in went amazing and fast friendly service.
Great value and location but room was dirty, old soap bar was left on sink and shower curtain smelled bad
The furniture fixtures and equipment is due for replacement.
Nice rooms and gym area they shouldn't charge for parking, it's expensive and my card never worke when I was trying to leave the parking lot
Location, friendliness of the reception and the early shuttle to the airport was very accommodating. The shuttle took a long time to show up at the airport to pick us up. Something to work on it, apart from that i don't have much to comment on since i spend one night.
The AC required service, which we didn't know, until 0100. It was our last night, prior to returning home. The front desk didn't respond except to say they would have maintenance look at it the following day. Additionally, they offered no GOVERNMENT or military travel rates.
Friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfasts Rooms OK but a bit small. Parking "card readers" are old and don't work well.
Parking not included, outdated need manteinance
Closeness to downtown and amenities No continental breakfast included, you have to pay extra
Staff was wonderful. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We were placed near the elevator and could hear it run up and down all night. The wall near bed had a gash in it. The toilet would not flush properly and would run for an extensive time.
Staff was so thoughtful and really made such an effort to treat me better than I ever expected!!!
I like that we got a voucher for an American Buffet, so we didn't have to pay. We had our choice of waffles, scrambled eggs, an omlet made however we wanted, fruits and many other things. It was delicious and the servers were very nice and attentive. The bed was not very comfortable that would be my only complaint.
Close to the airport. quite. On site restaurant. Place is very short staffed. Only 2 persons at the desk at night with constant stream of the travelert checking in and checking out, plus non stop calls from rooms or about reservations... i waited in line for over 30 min just to check out!... No toothbrash/toothpaste in the room, which is a shame for an airport hotel and considering the price they charge for a night.
Breakfast is why i stay hereorice
The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were large and comfortable. We were not able to control the temperature in the room, felt warm and damp.
Nothing The staff was rude, My credit card was overcharged 3 times.
Nothing at all. Everything, the staff was terrible.
Breakfast in the morning was devine. Best omelet I've had in months. Hard to find a good deal for embassy suites. I would love to stay more often.
Breakfast included with a niceroom Cleaning service did not remove trash oneday
This is a great place for a family. The breakfast was great. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It is close to S.F. and Pacifica.
Great place to stay. Close to the SFO airport
Beautiful gardens pet friendly ! Breakfast and drinks great . Great view . Lovely shampoos . Excellent staff . Had such an awesome time . Have recommended it to my grown children too. Thank you for everything :) Leaving :)
Staff is great. Location is convenient to SFO airport. Can be noisy, especially on lower floors next to parking. Patience is needed with the shuttle because there is a lot of road construction around the hotel.
The hotel was very run down. Paint chipping, weird smells, stains on the sheets and bed covers, stains in the tub. It certainly was not like the pictures. And as a single girl staying by herself, it didn't feel safe. There was activity all night long and at one point there were people arguing outside my door. I thought I was getting a good deal, but I definitely over paid for what I got.
Bathrooms horrible setup. No counter space. Tv not situated in a comfortable position. Walls are paper thin. You hear everything.
forgot shampoo, none in the room, average room.
The staff were friendly & very helpful. Resturant was decent (nothing fancy) food. Great hot water! Rooms had been redone, but just a place to sleep. Room smelled a bit like a gym, had a problem with deadbolt lock that staff came quickly & fixed twice because I couldn't leave.
I didn't like the fact that it was like a Motel with the doors and windows are to the walk way, We couldn't open the drape for some light. That should have been advertised in the ads. Also the air condition was not working well and the plugs to the blow dryer in the bathroom was not working either. And for the price I paid was not worth it at all
I liked the location, the room itself and best of all the shower water pressure. Yes, the water pressure. Cleanliness was good. Will stay again.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had quite a few large bags and boxes, as I am in the transition of moving, and the associate was more than happy to assist me to my room after checking me in.
Clean, cheap Unfriendly staff. Homeless people rummaging in garbage outside my room, suspicious looking characters in parking lots. I did not feel safe as a single female staying here.
Easy access to 101N. Nice walking path, takes you to the lagoon and around to the Bay Trash - Cigarette butts in the same place for days. Empty pack laying is stairwell for entire stay. Room staff forgot to leave soap and shampoo after cleaning room. When asking for other places to eat than the hotel restaurant, front staff pointed to the hotel restaurant. Had to ask a second time for other places to eat other than the hotel. Walls are paper thin, was woken up on several occasions by other guests slamming their door or heavy walking across the floors.
Friendly staff. Internet was horrible. It kept cutting out so you didn't know if you were connected on your phone. On your laptop, it took forever of you were connected but usually you became disconnected. Room wasn't cleaned one day.
Location safe and easy access. Super nice front desk staff. The uncleanliness of facilities and parking lot mess. Seemed like some renovation or construction was occurring and they had a dumpster in lot, but stuff thrown all around it and in some parking spots.
I had problems with my Mastercard, which was rejected. Stuff was very empathetic and helped to solve the problem, and later on invited me for a free beer! I appreciate this nice gesture very much!
I know what to expect when I stay at Hampton Inn...that's why I always stay there. I have stayed at hAMPTON all over the us.
Rooms were clean I didn't like the fact that we were dropped off at the wrong location. After being tired from a long flight and the fact that we were on a time frame pissed me off even More. No where at the airport does it say to take the white or black shuttle. Just the hotel name. We even asked someone that worked at the airport and they guided us in the wrong direction. Wasn't the best way to start off our vacation.... The person at the front desk said the only way we could get to the correct Hapton inn was to wait 40 min for the next shuttle to take us back to the airport and get the "white" shuttle. How was I supposed to know what color shuttle to take? No where on any signs nor paper work did it say black or white shuttle. I was not. Going to waist my vacation going bAck and fourth to the Airport. I called the correct city old where the correct HAmpton's inn was And the lady could do nothing for me. And would not accommodate a taxi for the inconvenience we had to go through. I asked to speak to the manager in duty. Guess what? No manager or supervisor on duty either... What kind if business has no one supervising its employees? My husband was so frustrAted and just wanted to get to the right location, we ended up calling a cap and and to pay for a mistake that wasn't ours. Our cab driver even mentioned that we were the second family that day that he had to pick up and drop off at the right location. He said it happens all the time. With a all if the being said. My first time ever of going to San Francisco will probably be my last because that righ there ruined our vacation. Christina
Convenience to airport
proximity to airport what I did not like was about the room itself: there was a an open vent high up in the outsice wall that resulted in a great deal of noise due to the windy outdoor condition. Also, our room was adjacent to the elevator and in the morning a great deal of noise could be heard each time it was operated, which was quite frequent.
It's convenience as it relates to its location to the San Francisco airport. Loved the free shuttle to and from the airport. It was clean and our room was larger than expected.
Clean, well appointed, convenient, free internet, good breakfast.
Quiet, clean and up to date room. Everything I needed. Staff was welcoming and friendly. I had a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed! I was able to check in and request a priority of a quiet room, and that's what I got. Happy customer.
Close to airport for 6 AM flight, and Hilton Honors Points. Everything was fine.
Very convenient to the airport - and quiet,
Very comfortable - staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast wasn't extravagant, but it was good. Overall a very good experience.
Close to the Airport, and had shuttle service
Great Bed experience. I did not.mind being far from San Francisco since we had rented a car. There was a used towel in our room when we checked.
The staff was amazing. Some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They had fruit and candy out and everyone smiled and was helpful. It was wonderful.
The linens were the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever visited, and I have stayed at some of the world's most luxurious hotels. The TV has a huge screen and a supremely clear picture. 4K?? The location is very close to the rental car return agencies. Very clean. The only drawback was the check in. I asked for a quiet room with a bathtub. The first room I was assigned had soaking wet carpet from a recent shampoo. Instead of bringing me a key to another room I had to go down to the lobby again and wait for what seemed like an eternity for them to assign me a different room. The person at the front desk (Yolanda?) laughed when I explained the reason i had to change rooms. Then they had a lot of difficulty figuring out which rooms on the quiet side of the hotel had bath tubs. Once I got to the room however I was extremely comfortable and the room was super quiet. A/C could use a slight boost.
Room furnishings were very nice and modern. Bed very comfortable. Loved the glass shower doors and bathroom amenities. Staff very friendly. Free airport shuttle very convenient. Overall great experience. Tried express check-out via telephone and TV menu but neither worked. Had to checkout at front desk but luckily there was no wait. Would prefer express checkout.
Waterproof mattresses and broken fixtures? Can't believe Marriott puts their name behind this place.
It was very nice, location felt safe. Staff was friendly. Pillows and blanket were goose down, very comfy. $25 parking. You run into expensive parking so much in downtown San Francisco that it would have been nice to have lower or none there. The lounge staff, while friendly, seemed to need more staffing. It took a while to be greeted or get our bill. There was no fan in the bathroom so while showering it got very hot fast. They had to add on a hold for an extra $100 on my debit card, just because it was a debit. It's refundable but it has yet to be removed from my bank statement.
The hotel is easy to access and the quality of the rooms is very high. Not far from the city and really close to the airport Great view of the plane landing and taking off without the sound. very friendly staff A bit on the high side for the price depending on the day you stay.
They could not accommodate my room and needs since booking.com made multiple mistakes in my order. For my inconvinance nothing special was offered or any type of discounts.
Love the convenience and ease for travelers. The pool- though small for serious workout, hot tub, and work out room is great.
Excellent personnel, that really surprised me and made my short stay very nice. Comfortable and clean room, perfect solution with shuttle bus.
Location was good, staff cheerful. Shower was very dirty after the cleaning people cleaned it (more dirty than it was before). Not sure why.
management is responsive to their customers - I sent a question by email asking where to get their airport transportation and received an immediate reply from their Area General Manager, Mr. Steven Dodaro
_Pleasant, efficient reception staff. Complimentary breakfast. Everything was first class in the hotel
They had my booking.com reservation registered, but couldn't find a room for me. It took half an hour to complete my check-in.At the check-out, they tried to charge me a different rate (more expensive, of course).
The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. Mary was fantastic. The message of welcome on the telephone was appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and well maintained. The cleaning staff were also friendly. Handy to the airport and the seaside walk way for exercising. Probably just our inability to work it but, the air conditioning in the room seemed to be set to a very warm temperature.
Location OK A bit run down
The front desk staff were very nice. none
Internet environment, reception staff, airport shuttle bus service limited space for breakfast
location nr. airport & ability to park & fly, paying a little additional. Includes breakfast with decent choices. slow check-in... & confusion as to the location with 2 other airport locations of this hotel with same name/different owners.
Excellent complementary breakfast.
Close to the airport, costco and easy to get to. They have an awesome breakfast. They were repaving parking slots, so less parking was available that weekend.
San Francisco bay was my view, beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was served very early which was perfect for our 9 am flight and didn't need to buy breakfast at the airport, very clean, direct tv channels, and a great location next to airport. I'd definitely rebook this place over the more luxurious hotels near by. Absolutely got the most bang for my buck! Nothing
drive up to the door motel room. It was next door to my conference at 60% of the price. spendy for the quality due to the location.
The shuttle to/from the airport was nice and ran on time. I didn't get to experience the breakfast (it started at 6 AM and I headed to the airport at 5:30 AM) but it looked good enough. There was definitely a lot of jet noise in my room but I was able to fall asleep without to many issues. The hotel is a dated motel-style layout with exterior hallways.
Police arrested someone in the room next to mine at 11pm - quite scary.
I did not see any bugs, and the breakfast was pretty good. I would say it the food was moderately above average, but the breakfast room was teeny tiny. Decent toiletries. Relatively friendly staff. Most of the furniture seemed on the newer side. It is very nice to be able to walk on the pathway behind the hotel. Temperature.....The whole motel can either be on heat or cold, then you can choose to turn your fan on in your room if you want one of those temperatures. Since it was windy out, the motel choose heat during our stay. It must have been 80 degrees in our room with no circulation. The windows open but they open to the open air walkway that is not locked or guarded against anyone walking off the street. Aside from that, its pretty dirty, paint chipping, ceiling panels are broken or coming up. The wall paper was no longer attached to the wall and you can see all the holes in the walls where other pictures used to be. Also.... its incredibly noisy, since opening your window is the only way to get any air circulation if you are not choosing the same temp, you get to here lots of other guests... doing what we all know happens at motels by the airport. There seemed to be plenty of other decent hotels nearby, I would steer clear of this one unless you don't have a choice. LASTLY! The vending machine to the left of the office was out of stock, and the office staff knew it would just take your money and not give you any items. Luckily they told me but not the guy before me!
Situation Bad smell, loud fan is always working
Location was good, staff was friendly, breakfast and Tuesday evening "meal" was good. Room was a little dated and we could hear person walking in the room above us.
Very clean and comfy. I wish they'd have had an arm in the lobby.
Great view. Comfy bed. Fridge. Good hot breakfast. Room a bit small but nice.
Staff were very friendly and nice. Cloth curtains in the bathroom, everything got wet. No available drinking water, they ran out.
loved the view the bay close to the airport and plenty of resturaunts close. Cant wait to get back home.
Right next to the highway and airport. The first Night i stayed i was charged a $100 security deposit after already paying in full for two nights. I was told it will be refunded in 5-7 business days. I was there in July on the 14th......It's now September and multiple calls in and still haven't been payed back. it's a very convenient hotel for travel but watch what your charged if you've already made reservations.
I saw a bed bug on top of the blanket within my first minute in the room.
There was no mini fridge for our food, the staff allowed people to have a ton of guests in their room and parties all night.
Nothing about this place is ok. They are very rude employees The employees of the hotel. Extremely rude
There was nothing redeeming about this place Very outdated, feet stuck to bathroom floor. Felt unclean. No sound insulation. Right on 4 lane highway. Incredibly loud. Stay somewhere else!
No one mentioned a hundred dollar deposit, didn't require last time. Count on waiting ten days for it to be returned.
IHOP on premise was very convenient and gas station across street also ver convenient. Extremely run down and dirty..... Bedbugs devoured my neck and body. Carpet filthy, bathroom filthy,
The staff was very nice and patient. I saw roaches in my room after I checked in along with stains on floor and sheets. After discovering this I immediately checked out. I was told they sent maintenance to the room after and was also giving the opportunity to change rooms but I opted out and asked for my money back.
Carpet wet, room smelled bad, wifi didn't work hidden fees they charge upfront a deposit staff not nice
Advertised as non-smoking -- I've smelled better ashtrays! Cigarette burns in everything. Very intrusive road noise. No electrical outlets, except one illegal extension cord behind the bed. Non-functional fridge. Booked the place out of desperation - never again. Worst Travelodge ever.
Filthy chair in room. Looked like there was blood on it. Lights did not work, nor did the alarm clock. And that's because of the broken wall sockets hanging out of the walls. The top sheet on the bed had stains on it. I did not look at the bottom one just tried to call the front desk for some clean ones but no answer. So I walked up to the front desk and requested clean sheets. They brought me some and I changed them myself. Not a great experience. Please see above
The front staff went into back room, opened my luggage, and stole an expensive pair of eye glasses: I trusted them with my luggage after check out before flying out at night. The pair of eye glasses cost four times my stay, so it definitely wasn't worth it! I would never stay at this location again, and after OMRAN never returned my calls, I'm reporting them to Travelodge franchising and demanding explanation about why my calls were never returned and staff were allowed to steal my property without a manager getting involved. OMRAN, the manager, is inexistent! I called and left him a number of messages, but he never returned them. They told me first day after stolen gasses that he was sick, and a week later, he was still sick. All he needed to do is return my messages, and promptly, but never did, not even three weeks later. Everytime I call this Travelodge location, the phone has to ring for 5-10 minutes before placed on hold, then disconnected, then call again, and repeat, until an hour later, yes an hour, before front staff talk to me. They really need an extra front staff or manager on mobile to answer phone: so unprofessional! For the price you're paying at a location so isolated from anything San Francisco, it is not worth it even if I wasn't robbed: go somewhere they answer the phone from first three rings. If you have a problem here, you're on your own! Beware! There really are better options downtown and with BART, you get to airport much faster than waiting half hour for their shuttle, which doesn't run late night (if you're downtown on Fri or Sat night, plan to leave downtown by 10 PM or you'll miss the shuttle to this location). I would not recommend this location even if you're waiting for a flight: it's faster taking BART to airport, which takes half time less than the 45-minute shuttle (with drop off), about 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco. Again, there are better options downtown. Don't stay here: if the front staff robbed me, what did they leave for housekeeping? Not worth it.
Good location. Close to the airport. Complimentary shuttle service to/from airport. Booked a room with 1 King bed. When I arrived, I was told they any had rooms with 2 Queen beds available. They seemed more like twin beds.
The room was clean and they had a great breakfast. The staff was un friendly and unwilling to help when I asked to switch rooms due to our room being located on the 8th floor next to the roof access. Apparently we only booked a queen bed that's why we were in that room. When I asked what could be done about it he told me I would have to pay extra to move my room IF they even have any available. Also, we had to pay for parking $7 a night which I was not aware of or else I would've stayed else where. We had to put a parking permit in front of the drivers seat window so our car wouldn't get towed. A hotel like this is taking all your money and yet they aren't willing to make your experience nice enough to get you a better room.
The housekeeping staff provided a clean room and nice sheets. I had a room on the top floor, overlooking the nearby 101 freeway. The noise from the freeway was unbelievable and I barely slept the entire night. My room was equipped with a large unlocked sliding window with no balcony or railing (Seriously? On the ninth floor?), and I thought maybe it wasn't closed all the way, but it was, it just let a lot of noise through. In addition, there was a door right next to the bed that connected my room to that next to it. This door also lacked proper soundproofing, as I could hear the TV playing over the freeway noise until after 2AM.
The staff was very accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable.
One of the best dinners I've had at an airport hotel. Friendly staff. Good shuttle service. There was nothing to dislike. I asked for a special room and they gladly moved people around so long could have my choice.
From the first contact by phone, to checking out on my day of departure, my stay was great. I came to visit my daughter and two grandsons, ages 3 and 5. We all stayed in the hotel. I had chosen a room with a single king bed as the boys are used to co-sleeping with their parents. The hotel staff upgraded me to a disabled accessible room with two queen beds when they discovered I had disabilities. There was no extra charge for this. The boys were rambunctious and noisy but the rooms were insulated enough that the noise does not appear to have bothered any of the other guests. Once day the maid vacuumed our room twice as the boys had made a mess on the floor. They brought us extra towels within minutes of my call to the front desk and when I discovered the hair dryer was damaged, they replaced it while we were having breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, it was tasty, varied and nicely presented. Plenty of options, including a large rice cooker filled with rice for the many Asian students who were in the hotel. Nice touch. Once the wait staff saw that there were children in our party they had a high chair at our table before we got back from the buffet. When I was checking in for my flight home, on the computer provided by the hotel, I got a little confused and staff graciously and quickly helped me. I was impressed with the value of the hotel as well. Using Booking.com I found a rate of $120 per night. This fit nicely into my budget. One other thing I want to note is that my brother has traveled all over the world for his work but when he is on personal trips he says he books Best Western as he feels the hotels provide a high level of service, nice accommodations and value for dollar. Very pleased I followed his recommendation. The shower in the disabled accessible room has a low tile rim around the shower pan to allow for wheelchair access if necessary. It is probably not something that can be solved, but the rim allows too much water to splash over onto the regular floor and requires a lot of towels to soak up the water. Otherwise everything else was good
Staff was friendly, room was clean. I was next to the custodian room so I was awaken by all the noise.
Price was OK, not bad if you're just looking for a bed for a few hours before flying in the morning Not the cleanest place in the world, but thwn again, you get what you pay for.
Nice room, bed, bathroom. Large tv with no HD, bad quality. Noisy staff in morning. Noisy A/C next door. Very flaky Wi-Fi
Bathroom was nice The place looked run down , noisy could hear others opening there doors (sound like someone was trying to open ours )
Location, airport shutel The bloody hand print in the shower, moldy bathroom ceiling, and some ants in the shower.
Clean, newly remodeled rooms. Nice beds. Pricey, but this is what you get for San Francisco. I think the older reviews were posted before the hotel was remodeled from Howard Johnson's to Hotel V. Little loud due to free way and other guests, but not too bad. This is why give it 4 stars rather than 5.
+ Room was clean & bed was comfortable. + Room appeared to have undergone recent remodeling / improvements, slightly upgraded fixtures - Inadequate parking! Not enough stalls for # of rooms. Pkg lot was full to overflowing when we arrived @ 11:00pm (even with prearranged late check-in). Industrial area, no other street parking nearby. - Hotel is a 2-story walkup, NO elevator. Be prepared to carry your own bags upstairs if you have a 2nd floor room. - Bathroom lighting is VERY dim, even w/ upgraded fixtures. - Note: As of 7/12/15, this hotel changed its name to "Hotel V" & now markets itself as a "boutique" hotel. A more accurate description would be "industrial area MOTEL."
The room was nice. Big TV and an updated bathroom. Front desk was friendly. It's a bit of a drive from other places, but it wasn't that bad where it isn't manageable. Free parking, never had troubles finding spaces but you might if you come back to the motel later. The beds were comfy but a bit squeaky. Not for those with family. Sketchy neighborhood. Saw a drug deal go on right below me (I was on the 2nd floor). There's a lot of young people there who seem sketchy. Parking lot was too active for 1AM. Drunk guys try to cat call. Seems like people who use drugs stay there. Wifi sucks. One of the beds had stained sheets when we first got there. Curtains were stained too?? Don't know how, but they were.
Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were updated and very clean. Rooms were comfortable, and pretty quiet. The other guests appeared to be tourists or business travelers. Good rate, in an expensive area. Will stay there again
Staff Fixtures Tv Shower Smell Surprise charge at check-in $10 Bed could have been a bit more comfortable
The staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel was really convenient to downtown SF(18 minutes away), and with an amazing view! Hotel room was clean and comfy! It was definitely worth it for the price paid. There was no complimentary breakfast, had to pay for it. But otherwise everything was great!
I'm glad there was a restaurant available. But I'm used to having a free buffet offered. There wasn't a free buffet.
Clean room and polite staff. No pool.
Everything was wonderful. Fresh fruit and cookies were much appreciated when we came into the lobby. Staff were so friendly and efficient, The room was very nice and quiet. Couldn't get a second nights stay.
I thought they had a complimentary breakfast, they didn't I got charged 12.99, I wasn't happy about that !
Convenient location from airport or to downtown San Francisco. Excellent conveniences such as a business center, workout room, laundry facilities, and accessible room availability. They had multiple areas for business travelers to sit and work. They have their own restaurant on site so dinner and a full breakfast was offered at a very reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was very impressed when I received an email to confirm our reservation and it offered me other things that I might need, for example extra towels, blankets and even a quiet room. The only reason I didn't 5 star the hotel was because the beds were definitely full size and not queen and they were very soft and a bit lumpy. Additionally, their pillows were also very mushy and not firm enough to support your neck. Other than that it is a very nice place to stay. Full size beds instead of queen, soft lumpy beds and mushy pillows that were not firm enough to support neck.
Close to airport with free shuttle every half hour Booked a king size bed with whirlpool. I didn't read the fine print that said if available which meant I didn't get the whirlpool.
Several pillow cases were scented with perfume. Pillow cases had not been changed? Bed sheets??
Staff was friendly and responsive. Room seemed clean. Staff gave wrong information about the hotel's shuttle. After waiting for more than 45 min for a shuttle that I was told would be 15 min., I ended up having to waste time and $$ to pay for an Uber driver. No complimentary breakfast.
Good to stay for one/two nights. Food places far away from hotel but Beijing Buffet near to the hotel is great. Bart access require taxi but less than $15. Nice place.
The front desk and Continental breakfast staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wish there was a fridge and/or microwave. I also asked the cleaning lady for extra towels for the pool and didn't get any. My room was close to the pool near the back where the smell was awful. I'm assuming that smell was from the restaurant on the hotel grounds. Luckily the odor did not seep into the room but going out to the car was not pleasant.
Close to the airport with convenient shuttle service. Good price. Breakfast was minimal.
I liked the convenience of the location. Breakfast ok. Wifi didn't work. Choppy, sporadic, poor. Condition of overall hotel very poor. Old and very worn. TV didn't work properly. Picture choppy and wavy. Color quality bad. Desk staff rude and impersonal. Felt like I was imposing on them when asking for clarification. Made for a distasteful experience.
Close to airport with shuttle service. The room was far from adequate,(did not have a bedside table nor lamp for reading, sheets had burn holes in them) carpet, no phone, people hanging around the outside doors. I did not feel comfortable in this hotel.
It looked clean and as if they were renovating many things. A good majority of the rooms were updated with new furniture and beds. We got stuck in one of the old style rooms.
Room was clean. Check-in/Check-Out was efficient. Comp Breakfast was sufficient. Good option for an inexpensive airport layover or an inexpensive edge-of-town-hotel with a convenient shuttle to the sfo Airport bart. Contract Hotel/Airport shuttle bus is supposed to run every 20-minutes, but missed an evening run (Sat night) around 9:40.
Parking Pillows flat tv remote did not work
It was really close to the convention center The woman at the front desk was rude and not helpful as to where my room was. There was mold on the windows and drapes; The sheets did not look as clean as they should be.
Didn't state on the website that they don't take under 21. I had to look for another hotel and front desk was shitty
During our visit, it was very crowded and understaffed. but the staff was doing the best that they could under the circumstances. Location to the airport
None; for overnight stay only. They did not have 2 double beds that I had booked previously; and the bed was too soft! The front desk person was not too polite
